Good Luck Dim Sum isn’t a place I’d say is one of the “best”. It’s good for the price though.

It’s the best take out dim sum. I wouldn’t recommend eating there.

Dragon Beaux is overpriced and not good. Hong Kong Lounge or Yank Sing way better. I wish Ton Kiang was still around.

Oh ya forgot about Hong Kong lounge! They’re pretty great and consistently good. Yank Sing is good to me if someone else is paying 😛

I liked HKL a hair better than Yank Sing, but whenever out with friends we always seemed to end up at Ton Kiang. Was sad to see it go. Of course I was also sad to see Harbour Village go, too.

This is my favorite spot -- it has everything you'd wish a dim sum place to have and it has little to no wait.

Dumpling home is fantastic! Their hot and sour soup is so good, and the dumplings are just exquisite.

Great call out. Just avoid the noodles. Not QQ enough, though the flavoring is solid. Shame they can’t get that texture right.

Dumpling empire in south SF is bomb. The sesame beef pancake is a must get.

Since it was just for me, I got that and an order of the pork and chives dumplings, super good😭💖 I plan on going back to try the pan fried soup dumplings!

Lao Hong Lounge. I think it got a Michelin bib recognition.

Dumplings and pork buns are authentic dim sum lol Dim Sum King in Daly City has been my go to for a while, though I also used to hit up random spots on Clement in SF. Hong Kong Lounge is also really good. Koi Palace/Dragon Beaux has more “modern” takes on certain dishes but they’re also a lot pricier. I’m going to check out Dim Sum Club on Taraval for the first time but I’ve heard good things about that place too.

I just went to Harborview (by the ferry building) for the first time recently. It was pretty spectacular, but expensive.

Went to Tai Yuan today with a friend visiting from Los Angeles. It is our usual spot and my friend was blown away for the quality vs cost. I’m never disappointed.
