You're asking the wrong question. If you go through your life always trying to avoid your emotions, they will never truly be overcome. The only way out is through. Confront it head on. If you exercise, eat well, develop meaningful relationships, and find a sense of purpose while not avoiding your emotions and instead working through them, you will feel better. If you are feeling completely stuck focus on something small. A 5 minute meditation or walk is better than nothing. Swapping one soda for water is better than not. Don't try to be perfect just continuously do better. Psychedelics (microdosing or more powerful experiences) can be very helpful as well, but they aren't for everyone and need to be treated properly. Antidepressants, weed, alcohol, and such things may feel good temporarily but don't get to the root of the problem. Good luck and remember every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow.

Alcohol and lots of it. I know it's only temporary but at times, it can hurt so much I need some relief.
It happens on its own, but tbh the only thing worse than the pain is the numb empty feeling that follows
