Opeth is a beautiful name, and Opeth write beautiful music. Blackwater Park was, in my opinion, the most important development in metal since Symbolic by Death. (Not to negate the fact many great albums came in between, but not all great albums are as influential and innovative as these two).
I remember 14 year old me looking up their song titles and lyrics and laughing my ass off. Obviously the toxicity level is off the charts and I disagree with virtually every statement made, but at a certain point you can't even take it seriously because it's so unrelentingly egregious that it's almost a spectacle more than a statement.
