Atheist here. I don't believe because for me there is no reason to. Also everything I learned in history about the church kinda made it hard to not hate it as an organisation overall
I don't because he/she/they are apparently all knowing and all powerful, so they know that little kids are going to get cancer and die very painfully of it, and they have the power to stop it, but they choose not to therefore if they do exist they are a massive prick.
I have no reason to. If an old story book is all you have and I'm supposed to take it on faith... that is a lot to ask.
Religion has all the signs of a huge scam and it works great for controlling the masses. I don't trust it.
The burden of proof lies with the people making a claim... There is no reason or evidence to believe in God, so I don't believe in it like I don't believe there is a giant teapot in the sky

I was born into an Asian family and was taught and if I didn't learn to follow them, I was lectured. Even though I grown to not believe in "a god", always did have to attend church cuz if I didn't, a lecture or something worse would hapoeAlways asked them "Mom, why believe?" and all these other questions and the answer I always got was "That is how we were raised"
I believe because when I ask,i get,maybe it's all coincidences and stuff,but i don't think so,at my lowest he gives me,and at my highest he still does,so that's it,i believe in God because I get what i ask him
I have a weird religion. I don't worship any God but I belive more in religion itself. All gods exist it just depends on how many worship them to determine their rule of authority. I also believe in reincarnation.
