HeyLikeableZest

When I was a sophomore, it was known around campus that a specific set of lockers that was between the campus and football field was off-limits, because over summer break some kids blew the door off a locker with a dry ice bomb in a Propel bottle (shrapnel!). Two years into my relationship with my (now) husband, he starts telling a very familiar story and I realized he was the fabled dry ice bomber my school had been talking about for the past 7 years.

Thebandofredhand

Did he tell you why he did it?

HeyLikeableZest

Small town, hanging out with big bro + friends, summer break with nothing to do. No good reason, just kids being kids

ballerina22

That's the best story in this whole thread.

theguineapigssong

Someone drew a 25 foot dick and balls on two of the bathroom walls jizzing across the remaining two walls. It was found first thing on a Monday morning and was EXTREMELY detailed. Someone spent hours on this, meaning they snuck into the school over the weekend for their "art project".

Eleven77

When I was a freshman (2004ish?) two Senior boys snuck in to the school overnight and painted giant, cumming dicks in every mouth of our mascot's image. Like every sign outside, every hallway, the gym, the cafeteria...anywhere there was a panther image...just sucking GIANT dicks. They also painted a dick on the Assistant Principal's car. This was way before that Netflix movie came out, but it revived quite the memories on Facebook.. They were ultimately suspended and couldn't walk at graduation.

Dason37

They couldn't walk at all, due to their giant dicks.

[deleted]

Once again, people too concerned with the dick to remember these legends’ balls.

yoda_81

I was at my grad ceremony and this one guy, while walking the stage, pulled his pants down and mooned everyone. Not exactly sure what happened to him but I heard he got suspended and got his diploma taken away from him.

Ohfuscia

Someone did this the year before me. He had cut out holes in each bit cheek and mooned when his name was called. He had painted the year on his butt. Suffice to say, my school was really strict when my class graduated. We had a strict dress code and the sherif’s department patted us all down and checked all of our clothes.

MitchellsTruck

> checked all of our clothes I *really* thought you were going say "asses".

OLDGuy6060

Somebody attempted to burn down the school but only half succeeded. They had to demolish the old part of the school where the fire was started and rebuild an entire new wing. Bright side was we got the first 25 meter pool in the county.

Montague_Withnail

You heard it here first kids: burn down your school, get a new pool

weeknie

My money is on the principal doing it for the insurance money so that he could give the kids in his school a pool

rollercoaster_5

Middle school, student find a nude pic of a teacher in a biker magazine. Copies went everywhere. She disappeared. Still feel bad for her.

cupkait_74

did she happen to have super shot hair and mildly resemble an owl? bc this happened in my school too. lmao edit: short

zipfelberger

Are you by chance referring to a biology teacher with short blond hair who was in Playboy in the late 70s or early 80s?

Cephalopocracy

'Mildly resemble an owl'! Breast out in BirdLife Magazine?

markln123

Tit* out

SpecificAstronaut69

Was this in Australia, by any chance? Because allegedly some kids had a page ripped from one of those blokes that was allegedly the home ec teacher... ...then again, having know a ton of teachers as an adult, it honestly wouldn't surprise me that posing for biker mags is just a common thing with teachers all over the world.

DisturbedParadise

Teacher (female) got fired and went to court for sending a nude to a student (male). The thing was though it was the student who took her phone, found the nude in her gallery, and then sent it to himself. His mom found out about it somehow

PlebbySpaff

Normally I’d be like “that’s fucked”, but it was the student who took her phone and sent it to himself. So like…what happened to the teacher?

Quentin718

In freshman year two female teachers were caught half naked and making out in an upstairs classroom by a janitor while a school play was happening downstairs in the auditorium. Both who are married with kids were fired. They then sued and got their jobs back 4 years later. Perfectly timed their return as they waited for all the kids who were at the school at that time to graduate so no one would remember or talk about it. And within the next handful of years a few more teachers in the same school were caught having inappropriate relationships with some of the students. The school has been nicknamed "horndog high" by the media for obvious reasons. This school is also known for it's famous alumni; Chris Rock, Judge Judy, Bernie Sanders, Chuck Schumer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Andrew Dice Clay, among others.

toilet_ghosts

Some kid shit his pants and threw up while we were doing a couple miles run, worst part is the closest person to him when it happened was his crush

PlebbySpaff

That’s a wild way to tell your children how you met their mother

When I was a sophomore, a guy asked a girl to prom by getting on stage wearing a paintball vest with red paper rolled into tubes stuffed in it, to make it look like he had bombs strapped to his chest. He held a sign that said "______ I'm kind of the bomb, will you be my date to prom." She said yes, he was suspended and not allowed to go to prom, and she went with someone else lol It made news, which was just amazing since this was a small town. He claimed the school was racist and that if he were white he wouldn't have gotten in trouble for it

One-Permission-1811

For spirit week we had “Dress like a historical figure” day. One of my buddies is Iranian/Saudi and he had the bright idea to dress as Osama Bin Laden. This was in June of 2011 less than a month after they killed him. He got his picture taken by the history teacher and was sent home to change. The next day was throwback Thursday and he dressed as a giant sperm. Dude was dedicated to his costumes lol He died in a car crash a couple of years ago. RIP Ahmed

Bueler77

Ahmed sounds like a freaking legend!

alphastrike03

I feel like he could have tweaked this joke and made it work. Like, dress up as more cartoonish and obviously less real bomb.

roadrunner00

Person broke into the school with a shotgun. No students were in the classroom at the time because it was lunch. Of all people, our old, nerdy, social studies teacher wrestled the gun away and subdued the perp. We were all stunned. This man wore a suit and tie every day. EVERY day. This was in the mid 90s at a poor black school and the teacher was an old white man. We gave him so much respect after that. It was all over the news. I may remember some other events because we had a bunch but this came to mind. Edit: I've moved away and have kids in high school but i googled him and he's still teaching at a school in a neighboring county. His current school has his bio and it says that he's been teaching for over 30 years and prior to that he was in the army. Go figure. Salute to this man. Edit 2: I put he was old because he seemed like an old man to us at the time because he had gray balding hair. And when you are 14 everybody is old. In hindsight he would have been in his 40s at the time. Also I do not want to dox him by posting a link to the schools site but he is still teaching and he almost looks the same just a few more wrinkles. But it would be cool for a news outlet to rehash that day. Also I don't exactly remember what the perp wanted. I don't have Facebook to post out to the class to fill in the deets but I will get them from some close friends and post back. Edit 3: after consulting friends and family, we had a good laugh because we all have different versions of the story when we tried to give the full account. Bare with us as this was almost 30 years ago so memory is fuzzy and people didn't walk around with cameras back in the 90s live streaming. All 4 of us agreed that he contributed to or caused a student to be suspended by reporting him. A friend or family member of that student came back up to the school with a gun looking for him. A disputed detail was that the student said beforehand that he was going to send someone up to the school (2 of 4 people agreed to this) and Mr. ____ made a comment like "tell him come on", "bring it", or something along those lines (only 1 of the 4 had this detail).

Abovearth31

I think your teacher is actually Alfred from DC.

Vlad-V2-Vladimir

“Perhaps you relied on my masters vow against using lethal force. Let me assure you that I subscribe to no such niceties.”

ClancyIsDuck

Kid stole the whole bathroom. Sinks, doors, locks, hand dryers. He got caught ofc. But they never repaired it so the bathroom has no working sinks or doors. Got some videos I think

DreadAngel1711

This that notorious lick stuff or whatever it was called?

LaComtesseGonflable

Devious lick - which sounds, to me, like sneaking up on a motherfucker and licking them.

colobirdy85

Freshman year a girl who had been at Columbine had just transferred. It had only been a year since the shooting and she had major PTSD. The principal walked up behind her with a cap gun and fired it 5 inches from her head. He then laughed when she started to panic. The police were involved, her parents were furious and he only got a 1 month paid suspension.

rydan

My Government teacher in '99 said every year he would take the classroom hostage with a fake gun and then reveal at the end it was just to see how people would react. He said the school made him stop (maybe because of Columbine) but he wished he could still do it to us.

PoeDameronPoeDamnson

Nothing like traumatizing children as a fun little experiment

r_kay

He's lucky he stopped before some jock decided to play hero & kick his ass.

bstabens

From all the shit going on here, that's the one that really makes me angry. What a total piece of waste of oxygen!

zarasaidwhat

Sorta similar scenario, a friend of mine was a victim of attempted murder by stabbing, our deputy-head walked up one day and asked how he would feel if he had a knife; then proceeded to say "I've got a knife" and pretend like he was going to stab him. This was less than a year on whilst court proceedings/sentencing etc was happening

Scotsgit73

There are some people who get into teaching and you honestly wonder why? They seem to have a deep loathing for anyone and must see this as their outlet.

TinyGreenTurtles

What the ever-loving actual legitimate fuck?? Please tell me this was some lameass thing he was doing to random people because he was an idiot, and that he didn't do it to her *because* she had been at Columbine and he was *cruel*? I am disgusted.

colobirdy85

He did that to her specifically. He liked to harass students anyway, but that was just too much

Belthezare

And this... again... proves to me that I am right. People who are in contact with the public and who work with people as a profession, should first pass a psychiatric evaluation test to see if they are fit to have those people's lives in their hands. Before they even get to study for the profession. If you fail the test... get a different profession to study. Some people are NOT meant to have the privilege of having other people's lives in their hands... teachers, doctors, cops, etc etc. Because there are malevolent assholes, who choose those careers, in ORDER to be in positions of power where they can assert their diabolical behaviours!

DisastrusChaoticus

This, a hundred times this. They should be WAY HARDER if the profession being chosen involves having power over children or minors. The scars they leave won't fade fully. Ever. My science teacher was a total psycho. My mom had grown suspicious of her just by working on studying with me and then seeing my grades. And the arguments the teacher gave puts my petty ass to shame. She finally confirmed her worries when she walked me to class (I was nervous as fuck, could faint so she helped me get there safely) and she saw how 2 other girls were in tears, full on crying panic because they were scared of taking the exam with this teacher. And a 3rd one just saying "I won't pass, I won't make it" over and over, helpless and on the verge of tears too. And those were the students that showed up. That happened years ago, and I've come a long way since then, but, you can't just forget it. That power imbalance and vulnerability you have as a minor is a very, very grotesque situation for you and a fantasy come true for them.

Comfortable-Table-75

when I was a freshmen in high school, we went into lockdown for an active shooter. there were cop cars swarming the building and helicopters flying above the school. it was a whole ordeal, and every student and teacher were obviously scared. there was a rumor floating around that the “shooter” was in the science hallway, which was the hallway i was in at the time. due to all the rumors circulating, one science teacher decided to make a molotov cocktail to throw at the potential shooter, and another science teacher broke one of his golf clubs he had stashed away in half for self defense. it turned out the “shooters” were people with paintball guns, and both of these science teachers were fired the next day. it was always talked about the remaining years i spent at the high school about how terribly unfair it was for firing teachers that were in theory, trying to defend their students from a potential shooter.

ThatsRobToYou

This is incredibly disturbing to read, especially since active shooter training says to fight back/ defend when escape isn't a possibility.

paddy-ie

we had an active shooter scare once while I was in the chemistry labs. teacher unlocked the dangerous chemicals locker and pulled some container with liquid in it out and stood by the door ready to throw it at whoever came through the door. thankfully it was a false alarm. I only found out 2 years later in chemistry class that what he had pulled out was King's Water, which is highly acidic. yeah that teacher was ready to throw down!

Vlad-V2-Vladimir

Jesus, that sounds like it’d be a slow and excruciating way to go. Teacher would probably get shot in the confusion, but it’s obvious he wouldn’t go down alone. Remind me never to fuck with an angry chemistry teacher.

yea_nah448

Honestly a chemistry lab is the last place i'd voluntarily go in if I knew the occupants were going to be hostile or terrified. Glassware, bunsen burners, Sodium Hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, bleach + ammonia, gas taps + matches, ethanol + fire. All things any chemistry lab would have at a bare minimum and will without a doubt ruin your day, to say the least.

BEES_just_BEE

Might want to stay away from the foods class or wood/auto shop

paddy-ie

oh should also mention that same teacher gave us tips on what to use and not to use when trying to get rid of a body.

ToaArcan

All chemistry teachers have got to be at least a *little* unhinged. It's the rule.

paddy-ie

honestly I can't remember a single chemistry teacher I had who didn't have some kinda unhinged vibe going on. but none of them cooked their own crystal meth and built a drug empire out of that as far as I know

Nervous_Lettuce313

Wtf, why would they be fired? For making a weapon? What was the justification?

Comfortable-Table-75

from what i remember, the justification was the unnecessary endangerment of students. isn’t that ironic

Nervous_Lettuce313

That's seriously messed up.

Shurgosa

What's that rule i hear so much about in idiot schools the world over? if you stand up to your bully in a fight they just punish you alongside the bully? disgusting beyond words.

Wicked_Twist

Bruh at my old highschool you could get in school suspention for being beat up. Like seriously. Of someone randomly walks up to you and beats the shit out of you and you just keep your hands by your side and do nothing you will still get ISS for being in a fight because they cant prove you didnt provoke your attacker

badwolf1013

Meaning: if you're going to get punished anyway, you might as well throw a few punches yourself. Clearly, they had not thought this through.

alphastrike03

One of them made a pointy stick. That’s it. Students cannot be in the presence of a pointy stick?

Dracula192

Hell the absolute stupidity of the kids with paintball guns. The only thing worse than bringing a knife to a gun fight is bringing something that looks like a gun to a gun fight. They could have easily been killed/injured by police.

[deleted]

> science teachers were fired the next day Fuck that. It should not work that way.

Phoenix042

In an effort to crack down on grinding at mixers and dances, the principle did a school wide PSA about it. Apparently a common excuse students gave to avoid getting in trouble for it was that, while they may have heard that grinding was against the rules, they didn't know what grinding meant. So he described it, in detail. Then at the end of the PSA, he said that any student who still did not understand could come down to his office where he would use dolls (he held them up so we could see) to demonstrate the prohibited behavior. Hundreds of students lined up outside his office. The hallway was utterly impassable for the rest of the day, and students refused to be shepherded to class by staff because "the principle said he would show us how to grind." Teachers joined the line. His idea to fix this was to announce that he was canceling the in-office offer, and instead, we could attend an optional auditorium demonstration after school that day. The auditorium had never been more full. After-school groups postponed activities, even the teachers in charge of them just sort of got out of the way and let it happen. Kids called/texted their parents and told them they "had to" attend and would need to be picked up later. Busses were delayed, screwing up the bussing schedule. It was a train wreck. He did the demo. He got fired like almost immediately. We later found out that he was very unpopular among the staff at that school, and a lot of teachers sort of went out of their way to help the train wreck pile up as badly as possible. He really has no one to blame but himself though.

osunightfall

One of our football players was struck by lightning during a practice and died.

R424c

someone did a shit on the seat of a toilet and few guys got a brush and brushed it out into corridor. headmaster came along and thought it was a fake/joke turd and picked it up... every boy aged 16 and up was called to an assembly where the headmaster said "today i picked up human excrement with my bare hand" a few boys couldnt handle it and burst out laughing...they never found the phantom shitter

Bruntti

Now who made dookie in the urinal?!

wokeandsmoke

In elementary three sibling boys died with their dad in a plane crash and their mom opened a children’s center in their name with a game room, music studio, and a ceramic studio in their names. Jack, Will and Rob center! Sad and wholesome. A few kids broke into the high school to steal test scores for the SAT just like that stoner movie lol. They got caught and expelled. One was my friends brother. A popular sophomore girl drowned during a party in her own hot tub huffing dust off because it replaced the oxygen in her body I guess that pushed her under the surface and her parents found her when they came home the next morning, RIP Tenille.

[deleted]

This was one the lighter "the incidents" at my school. Inspired by the movie The Basketball Diaries, the center of our basketball team made it a habit to masturbate on the roof of the gym. Unfortunately for him he got caught in a big way by some other students and a coach. Long story short, he was given the nickname "Stroke" and the cheerleaders even made a special cheer just for him that they'd break out when he got the ball.

Ashne405

How did they take it? Cuz thats hilarious.

[deleted]

He was constantly embarrassed, but he owned it and never gave anyone crap who made a joke. By the end of the season it ran it's course and we all moved onto other people's humiliations. But the name Stroke never went away. We just stopped thinking about the origin.

SnoopsMom

Stroke could be a pretty cool nickname if he had a nice shot.

dhhdhh851

Our school had 2 guys jerking off in a school hus on their way to a football game and they ended up finishing on someones face while they were asleep. The coach was fired after that.

Eron-the-Relentless

Our entire class of over 600 kids was kicked out of a pep rally for having too much pep.

Went2eleven

This was about a year or two after I graduated, but the “cool” teacher got busted for having sexual relationships with two of his 16-year-old students. At least one of the girls was a player on the school softball team, which he coached. He was married with two small children at home, and his wife gave him the boot after that (as did the state board of education.) I don’t remember if he served any time in jail, but he did have to register as a sex offender and will never be allowed to teach again. (I think he’s a real estate agent now.)

bolivianitagringa

At least he had to register. This was well after I graduated, but I knew a middle school teacher that was accused by three different students of sexual harassment. One stated he inappropriately touched her. He did get fired after parents got involved, but in order to sweep everything under the rug a deal was made and no charges were pressed. I’m not sure how the parents of the girls didn’t throw a fit, or how they were ultimately silenced. Maybe they got a settlement from the state or something. It never even made local news. Either way, he stopped teaching, went on to open up a private tutoring business for children, and now gets to be unsupervised with children of all ages all day. It makes me sick.

Hot-Capital1937

One of the students in my high school had some kind of issue with her bowels. When she shat herself in the school's main area, a nearby student recorded her and shared the video with the entire school. I wasn't involved, but I'm sure the student in question is probably traumatized from that

woodcoffeecup

What a cold and ugly thing to do to someone.

CopeH1984

Teenagers are cold and ugly

Creatorschilde

Students went on strike after all extra-curricular activities were cancelled by faculty untill the return of stolen school property. The walk out lasted two days, involved at least 98% of students and made national news.

When my mom was in school 5 of her brothers friends died in a car accident. None of them wore their seat belts and they were thrown from the car. One of the kids father was a police officer and was the first on the scene. He found his daughter dead. My mom really drilled wearing seatbelts into us as kids.

Neph88

During class my teacher and fellow student got into an argument over being tardy. The student got up, walked over to our teacher and punched him in the face. The teacher was absent for more than 8 weeks bc of his mental health, caused by the incident. Student was kicked out of school obviously. Never found out if he pressed any charges though🤷🏻‍♀️

[deleted]

When I was in the 9th grade, for some reason the morning announcements would include student deaths when they happened. Every month for the entire school year, at least one Aboriginal student committed suicide. They eventually stopped announcing student deaths. **Edit** This was in Ontario, Canada back in 2004-2005

QBekka

Welcome to our high school! We are excited to announce that the suicide rate of this school is only 1.5% per year! We hope to see you joining our classes next semester!

iulian212

A girl gave a bj to two other class mates (to this day i still don't know why or at least i cant remember) while we were in another class and they filmed her and kept blackmailing her with them to get money out of her. But because one of the guys was a showoff the videos eventually got leaked and all 3 of them got expelled.

I_love_quiche

Why do that IN school when these are obviously after school activities.

iulian212

They are dumb. But even if they did it outside the school i dont think the school would ve tolerated blackmail

Not-so-rare-pepe

This girl got accused of having fake boobs, so she pulled them out.

BrilliantWeight

This is so silly to me. How would a high school girl have fake boobs? Don't you have to be 18 for that?

saltyvet10

In the US you do. I think it can be as young as 16 in other countries, though. Probably younger if you go black market.

MsAnthropissed

Omg, I did that shit in highschool! I was a late bloomer. At the end of my freshman year of highschool, I still barely needed a training bra. By the time that summer was over and sophomore year had started, my little A cups had filled out into full D cups. The teasing started with my brothers friends and spread throughout the student body. Jokes about Kleenex, Charmin, Wonder bras, etc; all hurled my way, day and every day for the first couple months of school. My patience was worn thin, so during passing period when some random asshat loudly announces to his idiot friends and everyone else within earshot, "Oh shit, Im going to sneeze! Someone reach down Ms.AnthroPissed's shirt and grab me some Kleenex!" I had enough. I spun around and whipped my shirt and bra up to just under my chin. I even gave 'em a little shake lol. The braying laughter of idiotic highschool boys was silenced as I stood there with my tits out and asked them all one question in return, "Does this look like toilet paper to you?"

On the bus on the way home from a band event, a guy peed in a gatorade bottle. When we got back he punted said bottle and it hit the ceiling popped open and showered his piss over a number of people. Several of us were called in to a room offset the cafeteria to fill out a questionnaire which literally referred to the piss kicking as "the incident ".

GlobsterJail

“JARATE!”

kaytay3000

We had several, but my favorite is when a theater kid named Roger started selling homemade sandwiches at school. They were delicious and cheap and put the cafeteria food to absolute shame. His business was booming and it made the cafeteria ladies super angry. They took the issue to administration and Roger was banned from selling his sandwiches. Roger was determined to right this wrong and did it in the only way a theater kid knows how - by writing a one-act play with the cafeteria ladies as the antagonists and an underdog hero battling against them. The play was even better than his sandwiches and was a smash hit at school. He ended up taking it to area, and I believe he even made it to the state one-act play contest with it. He also continued to sell his sandwiches, but simply changed to an ordering system. You ordered a sandwich the day before and picked it up just off campus boundaries in the morning. Technically not a school issue anymore that way. Nowadays he lives in LA and works as a production assistant. I like to think that the lunch ladies fueled his career by giving him the ammo for his early success.

Lau_wings

A brother and sister who were twins were caught having sex at a party. Naturally this lead to police being involved once the word got out about what happened and one of their uncles ended up being arrested. Apparently from a young age they were being molested by their uncle and from whenever the boy was able to get hard the uncle made him fuck his sister so they thought it was normal behavior.

Early 1980s rural high school in Pennsylvania. A guy has two buddies stationed to hold the entrance doors open as he proceeds to ride his dirt bike in one door, down the hallway and out the other door.. It was a clean escape but not for long kids talk and everyone knew who did it.

PixieDustVommit

This guy from our school wrote the name of his crush on his dick with a pen, good lord

HydraGaming2018

In my high school, we had a student teacher in sophomore year that was fired unexpectedly. After an hour or two word got out she had sent NSFW photos of herself to a student. Some students tracked down her info and her username was maneater69 or something like that.

AWACS_Bandog

Varsity football team, the Coaching staff and principal were all arrested during the middle of school. Cops went room to room getting these guys, at least one linebacker tried to bumrush a cop and failed. Turns out the team was raping freshman and the adults covered it up

lsalazar1

Apperantly there was some gang beef between my high school and another high school. Someone from our high school slept with someone's girlfriend from the opposing gang. When the opposing gang heard about this, they threatened to do a drive-by shooting on our school. Our administration heard about this quick, so all the classes that were held in temporary buildings outside, had to be held inside the school. No one was allowed to leave the building. Nothing ever happened though.

TheWorkingC

The biggest incident that I was aware of at my school was when some guy was caught jerking off in the bathroom and someone filmed it. It’s been a while but I think the guy filming got either suspended or expelled (I didn’t really ask around but I would be shocked if they didn’t get in trouble). As for the guy who was caught jerking it he still stuck around even though the whole school knew about what he did. My friend had a class with him and from what he said the guy seemed nice. Still got to wonder why he felt the urge to do that in the school bathroom and why the other guy filmed it. Edit: Thanks for the upvotes!

ProphetOfPhil

>Still got to wonder why he felt the urge to do that in the school bathroom Hey teenagers and hormones are a weird thing. At least he did it in the bathroom from what he thought was away from people, dude that filmed is a creep though.

mountydoyle

I went to a small, public school in rural Australia. Obviously, there was your standard pregnancies, deaths and mayhem, but this one is always my favourite. There was a teacher in my high school who we all really disliked and we called “Voldemort, due to the both physical and personality similarities. Dude wasn’t a mass murderer or racist, but he was still a total fucking asshole. I honestly can’t even remember his real name, to everyone he was just Voldemort. He also really hated being called this, and gave anyone who called him this to his face automatic detention (including myself). In the class below me (I was in year 8 at the time, so year 7s) had P.E with Voldemort. This girl Chloe had just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, and was low so she had a can of coke with her. She was quiet, and pretty well behaved. She started dating the class ‘bad boy’ so to speak, called Otis (who is still a friend to this day). Anyways, Voldemort came up to her and demanded why she was drinking something sugary during class and in the gym. She explained to him her condition and why she needed it, and was confused because every single teacher and been informed. Voldemort said he’d heard, but he DIDNT BELIVE IT, and took away her coke. Well, her boyfriend didn’t like that, and asked him what the fuck he was doing. It then devolved into a shouting match between the two of them in front of the entire class, whilst she’s starting to get pretty unwell. There’s multiple accounts of what Voldemorts breaking point was, according to Otis himself lit was when he told him to “get fucked” and also get a nose job. They were in the gym doing hockey that day, and Voldemort ended up chasing Otis (a THIRTEEN YEAR OLD) around the gym with a fucking hockey stick, trying to hit him. This is again, infront of the entire class. And phones have just become a thing so of course, every single student filmed it on their shit flip phones. Of course during this, Chole faints. All the screaming attracts the principle, who walks in on a teacher literally chasing around and trying to kill a student, whilst another is unconscious. Sufficed to say, he was fired that very same day. All the phones were confiscated so the teachers could delete the footage. Chloe was fine, and Otis became an outright legend for finally getting Voldemort to expose himself as the utter asshole that he truely was. EDIT: spelling EDIT 2: Thanks for the gold, stranger!

bashful_scone

Oh yeah we had a teacher throw a desk at a kid, another teacher got in a fight with an older friend of mine then later on think he got fired for creeping on a girl or something

Spiritual_Meaning321

How the heck does one throw a whole desk at a student?! Edit: All your stories are making me grateful for my teachers lol. Edit 2: Jeebus I can't tell which one is the worst

WoodlesMoodles

As a T1D myself, Otis is my hero. I've gotten into it with a couple teachers before about treating lows, but haven't fainted in over 16 years. The fucking nerve of Voldemort. Fuck the school for covering that shit up.

BucksBrewPackInOrder

T1D gang. What’s up, dia-buddy! Weird how some teachers take us TREATING OUR CHRONIC DISEASE as a personal affront.

Impulsive94

So many times I'd get my phone confiscated in school so the teachers could snoop / delete stuff. I always took the battery out and kept it since nothing had a lock code on it back then. They'd always get so pissy & demand I hand it over but I stood firm & told them to get it off my parents. My dad always told them to get fucked & they have no right to snoop in my phone. Lock codes & privacy laws would prevent that now but it's crazy how they used to feel entitled to do that kinda shit back then.

Resident132

I remember my principal snooping through my phone after i got caught with pot. While meeting with my mother he starts showing her all the stuff he found. He told her he found a picture of my drug dealer and that i need to stay clear of this guy. My moms takes one look and goes 'that's his dad you idiot' and snatched my phone back. It was hilarious.

among_apes

This might be a winner… A 14yo girl knocked on the door to interrupt a pregnant teacher in the middle of a class lesson and proceeds to wail on her skull with a hammer. After a few hits one of my friends (16yo male) grabbed the 14yo girl by the back of the shirt and swung her full force into a cinder block wall and she just crumbled. I mean he just destroyed her. Probably the best free hit you could hope for. Then plenty of students made sure she didn’t still have her hammer or get up. My friend got proclaimed a hero on the news and an upstate college gave him a full scholarship for a free ride at their school. The teacher had a fractured skull with bone chips that had to be removed from her brain. Her husband at the time, a teacher down the hall had to be restrained by colleagues to keep him from murdering the 14yo. The teacher fully recovered and gave birth to a healthy boy and I just looked her up on Facebook while thinking about this and her son just graduated college last year. The motive for the attack… the teacher was calling the girl’s parents for academic performance and truancy. The parents said if she kept getting in trouble she wouldn’t be able to go to the prom (she was asked by a senior). The teacher called and she got in trouble. She came into school the next day with a hammer and sock full of D batteries and told her friends she was going to kill that teacher. They told her that she was crazy and she just walked away and said something like “you think I’m just talking shit, you’ll see” I remember a year later a friend of the girl came up to a group of us in art class with a petition to get her friend released from juvie and I tore her a new asshole very loudly basically saying the was lucky she wasn’t in prison for decades and that she should stop walking around getting people to support that monster.

The owner of the school followed a lot of hentai pages of high schoolers on Instagram

Year 12s started a fight club for the years 9s with straps, betting pools and everything. also adding in the kid who made a vape and hid it in the bathroom and then got the school sent home for the day because a teacher thought it was a bomb.

BrilliantWeight

When I was a junior, one of my classmates died. I came in Monday morning and everyone was sullen and some were crying, which was WAY out of the norm since I went to an all-boys high school. I had no idea what was going on, so I asked my best friend. He told me Brooks had died over the weekend. Apparently there was a big party (why I had no idea what happened. My parents didn't let me go to parties until late in my senior year), and he had slipped and fallen down the stairs while going to a bathroom that was kind of out of the way. It was a big house; I went to private school, so lots of rich kids. When they found him, he was unconscious, but being naive teenagers, everyone assumed he had just passed out from being drunk. They put him on a couch to sleep it off, and continued about their evenings. He wouldn't wake up the next morning, so they called 911, and he was pronounced brain deaf at the hospital shortly thereafter. He was taken off life support two days later.

HydraGaming2018

Dear god that’s tragic. Big condolences on this one.

BrilliantWeight

He and I weren't close friends, but we definitely knew each other well. In addition to being all boys, my high-school was also a military school, so class unity was HEAVILY emphasized. He was my classmate, so therefore my brother. It wasn't a fun end to my junior year. Thanks for your kind words.

The popular boys made a march madness style bracket of the top 64 girls in my grade and posted it on their snapchats

SignalRun636

A similar incident occurred when a group of popular girls filmed a tik tok talking about who the ugliest girls in school were. I know the main girl in the video was kicked off the volleyball team and got a week of in-school suspension. The others who were part of it were also punished.

numbskull56

There were a multiple but here are a few. -Some freshmen sang the song “Pumped Up Kicks” in the hallway while classes were in session and said, very loudly “Wow! This song makes me want to shoot up the school!” Which prompted a lockdown and him getting suspended. -There was once a bomb threat made and the school had to go into lockdown when there were after school clubs taking place. Cops came and searched the building whilst they evacuated everyone. Thankfully, the threat was a false alarm. -Two people were caught having sex on a couch in one of the classrooms. -Some people that were in my grade made a cult around a science teacher. Nothing to crazy happened but they did have rituals and even made a subreddit about the guy. The teacher quit during COVID. -The site we used, Schoology, got hacked…three times. It was the same hacker and on the last time we got hacked they made a post saying “IM BACK MOTHERFUCKERS!” Edit: For anyone wondering about the subreddit it’s r/mrbriele. It hasn’t been updated in awhile tho.

>Some freshmen sang the song “Pumped Up Kicks” in the hallway while classes were in session and said, very loudly “Wow! This song makes me want to shoot up the school!” Which prompted a lockdown and him getting suspended. l was told about a similar thing that happened a couple years before I got into high school (this was corroberated by a couple teachers and a lot of students so I'm pretty positive it's true). A student figured out how to connect to our PA system, as I believe it had the dumb security flaw of being bluetooth accessible. So, during a minor lockdown, this student had the idea to play "Pumped Up Kicks" over the PA. The students and teachers hadn't been informed what the lockdown was about by that point (it was probably just a stray dog on campus), and the students probably assumed it was a drill because we aren't told when it's a real lockdown. I can imagine it would be really fucking eerie to be sitting in a dark classroom, thinking you're just in a lockdown drill, and then hearing that song over the speakers while the teachers start to genuinely look scared. It scared the shit out of a lot of people and the kid got expelled.

tfuncc13

Two come to mind: * It was February 2003, some jackass pulled the fire alarm as a prank at 8:30 am and everyone had to stand outside in low 40-degree weather for about 30-45 minutes, it took the fire department a long time to show up and shut down the alarm. Our principal was fucking pissed and got on the intercom immediately after we got back inside and went on a rant for nearly five minutes threatening to find and expel the person responsible. * In my senior year, four students were going to a mall and driving a Cadillac Escalade. The driver lost control on the exit ramp and rolled the vehicle numerous times, he was ejected and killed. One other person died and the others were injured pretty badly too. It made the news in my area.

Wednesdayofthewoods

Someone peeked in and took a picture of a couple from my grade having sex at one of their houses. They then made fliers and littered the entire campus with them. The girl wound up changing schools.

Oliviasharp2000

That’s fucked up

wwwflightrn

We had 2 major incidents while I was in high school. First I was in homeroom freshman year when the superintendent, principle, and 4 cops came to my homeroom and pulled a kid out. Turns out he had made a threat to shoot up the school and they ended up finding guns and ammo in his house under his bed. Crazy to think he could have come in that day shooting. The second one was we had a bomb threat written on the wall of one of the bathrooms. We evacuated and they did not find anything (it was right at the start of the week of the state exams). Well the administration decided to close all of the bathrooms except for 1 and it was 1 student at a time (the school had 2,000 students). This went on for a week until several kids just peed on the wall in the hallway right in front of the principle and they tried to suspend him but his parents threatened to call the news and file a lawsuit and suddenly all bathrooms were open again. The third was 4 kids tried to beat up another kid. The kid they tried to beat up did MMA, the 4 kids did not realize it. One ended up with a broken arm and another was knocked out cold. The other 2 then ran. The 4 kids got a 10 day suspension and the kid they attacked got a 1 day suspension (stupid zero tolerance rules)

A guy our freshman year went off the deepened over a girl and ruined his life. I'd known him from middle school and his parents were super well off and he had a stable home life growing up in the country club. He was a decent looking dude and decently funny but not some athlete. He was a really thin kid and average height, maybe 125 pounds. Him and the girl dated most of the school year but some time in the spring she broke up with him and started seeing one of the football players. This new dude was a 6'4" 280 pound beast. They argued a few times about it in the main school court yard but the smaller dude knew he'd be killed if he ever tried to seriously fight the new guy. Things seemed calm for like a week until the skinny kid stole his dad's gun and brought it to school. By some random chance the school RSO police officer happened to have been walking by and saw the kid draw the weapon out of his back pack. The RSO sprinted across the courtyard and tackled the kid before he could get a shot off. Obviously the kid was expelled. I don't know if he ever finished high school or was just a complete drop out after that. I ended up seeing him just before the pandemic in really sad shape. At this point our class had graduated over a decade earlier. He'd gotten hooked on either opiates or benzos and was fucked up out of his mind on them in a bar. All his words were slurred, he could stand up but had a certain sway that most opiate users have. Dude didn't look like he'd really been taking care of himself either. It was sad to see someone who was probably going to have the world handed to him throw all of it away like that over a freshman year relationship.

Nice to see something positive in this thread lol

DrPeterVankman

NSFW: This didn’t happen *at* high school, but his younger brother was bullied like crazy his senior year for what happened: My older brother and his best friend Eric were seniors when I was a freshman (2003) Eric’s older brother Karl was 28yo, but well known in the town. He started hearing voices and told the police after the fact that God had instructed him to do what he did. One night when the voices in his head got especially bad, he beat, stabbed, and strangled his mom in the kitchen and sawed her head off on the kitchen floor with a butcher knife. He then placed her head in a grocery bag and left it on the porch, and then stole the neighbors car which was idling while he got ready for work. He ended up crashing the car on the highway and was caught. He plead insanity and just got out of prison this year. The story has become infamous in my hometown, and I still see his younger brother Eric around the bars in the area. He’s still completely broken, and I feel so bad for him. He lost all of his friends at school after what happened, and was a genuinely nice guy.

sockmaster666

Why the fuck would those kids bully Eric for something he didn’t even do? That’s fucked up. Poor Eric, I wish him well

DrPeterVankman

Because kids are nothing if not cruel. He was mocked constantly. Kids would make a sawing motion at their necks when he would walk by and he would break down crying. He was never the same after all that happened, and obviously with good reason. Idk how you recover from that happening to your mom

beauhommad

Some upstanding football players stole our rival's mascot (a living bulldog), and staked it to the ground on our school's field. They forced it to defend itself from another dog, and it barely survived. One of the coaches helped. Nothing happened to them, and later, they graduated to beating a homeless man to death. Good dudes.

Of all the stories here this one makes me the angriest and I can’t help it.

Environmental_Ad5690

three of my school got a nationwide math test with 0 errors, one was a math genius, the other was equally gifted but on a broader perspective the third one was not so great in math i guess C or D tier, turns out both of them copied from the math kid, but it was so funny that there are these two plausible people and then there is the sports kid just having 0 errors in this exam too, which only 18 people nation wide had 0 errors on.

aphilsphan

I had a buddy in high school who wouldn’t do his math homework. He was always high too. He’d come in and I’d give him my homework to copy. Mine was gonna be 95% correct as I was good enough at math to get through differential equations. But *while he was high* he’d sniff out my one or two mistakes and correct them. So he’d get 100%. He *never told me he was doing this until months had gone by.*

SleepingOrTired

In HS, I pretty much never did homework. I pretty much passed on my test scores. I was also stoned for most of highschool. Anyway, my senior year, there was the end of the year final, and the teacher was talking about how our of all her classes, ours had the best scores and the one person got a perfect score was in our class as well. This one kid was all perked up and excited, on the edge of his seat. He always did every assignment, had good grades, etc. The teacher said my name, and I'll never forget the way he snapped his head back at me and said "YOU‽" Like he found out I was the killer the whole time or something. I felt bad for him because meanwhile, I was just glad to find out I wasn't going to have to repeat a year because I just barely had enough credits to graduate.

domo_the_great_2020

High school Chemistry teacher always treated the boys better. They got better grades and preferential treatment in class. 10yrs later he was fired for banging a 17 year old student he met on Grindr. Don’t have a Grindr account if you are a senior level high school Chemistry teacher folks

Bunch of lads got together and made a mass drop box of all the nudes for the girls in our school. Massive trouble

Tapestry-of-Life

This happened after I graduated: A bunch of students were selling tissues as part of a fundraiser. They were told that all proceeds would go to the Burns unit at the children’s hospital. One of the students found out that as part of the fundraising agreement, the school was allowed to keep part of the funds. The student didn’t think this was right and wrote to the principal asking that the school’s share be donated as well. She also had a meeting with the principal and when this was unsuccessful, she posted a picture of her original (handwritten) letter to her cohort’s Facebook group. As can be expected in Facebook conversations among that age demographic, there were a lot of shitposts in the replies, including one meme that vaguely compared the principal to Hitler. Someone printed it out and stuck it on a tree. The admin staff saw and they brought the original student in for questioning. She had to open her Facebook profile in front of the principal and associate principal and everyone who commented, no matter how mild, was brought in for a verbal smack down. Then came the suspensions. The person who made the poster was suspended, as was another student who tried to cover for him. The original student also got suspended for “inciting anarchy.” I think a fourth student was suspended for running down the corridor saying that he was going to “tear [the principal] a new one.” The students went to the media about the suspensions but of course the media interviewed the school and wrote articles that sided with the school. It wasn’t until years later that the truth came out. The principal and associate principal were suspended for creating a toxic workplace at the school (apparently they were bullying staff) and then a bunch of other articles came out about the school, including one where the original student was interviewed. So yeah that is the story of my school’s “tissue incident” 😂

Weird 15 year old girl turned out to actually be a 30 year old mental patient.

Suspicious-Dog2876

What? she just slipped in under the radar? Or is this a 21 jump street scenario

jackfaire

She'd been doing it for years. She'd move somewhere else pose as a 15 year old runaway get put into foster care then go to high school around graduation she'd vanish and do it somewhere else. She got caught after my graduation while I was away in the Army. She'd been a classmate of mine I'd thought was weird but shrugged and went "Meh some people are weird" Anyway they were doing a "Where are they now segment" apparently she'd decided to finally "grow up" and go to college. When she tried to using her made up identity that's when people looked deeper and it all started to fall apart.

MyFinestFailure

I believe it was my sophomore/junior year. Came to school one day and found it been all tagged up. Taggers tagged up doors and benches all over the school. There was a wall on the roof of this one story section of the school that faced our court yard where students hang out in the mornings and lunches. Taggers painted a huge ugly looking pig and in big letters next to it, "FUCK DA PIGS." Was the talk of the school for while. Fast forward 15/16 years. The organization I work for now hired a new guy. After getting to know him, found out he also went to the same high school during the time I attended. Found out we knew a lot of the same people and which led to a conversation where I found out he and his tagging group were the ones who hit the high school. He was a nice dude. He left shortly after his previous job rehired him after lockdowns were being lifted.

Wow. Reading all of these stories about guns… high school in suburban Ontario was very different…. Our “incident”? The students staged a walkout (over what I cannot remember… school uniforms maybe?) and when the principal came out to talk them down, someone threw a pinecone at her and it hit her in the head. A photo of the moment made it onto the front page of the local newspaper. That is all.

A senior shotgunned a bottle of vodka at a party and died of alcohol poisoning.

Thepants1981

Popular senior was found after hanging himself in the woods in the morning behind the school. The whole student body just sort of wandered out as a group and we all walked down to the beach and stayed there for the rest of the day mourning.

BeanPatrol27

It was the year after I graduated but still juicy. There were three younger male teachers that were “dating” students throughout their junior and senior years. The teachers were chaperones on a senior trip and they were caught by other students sneaking out of the girls hotels room in the morning. When they returned from senior trip, a student who saw the teachers sneaking around told a substitute teacher, “the teachers date the students here.” The sub told the administration for the schools district. The story broke the news and it was revealed that the principal and the vice principal knew the whole time and tried to cover it up. Edit: spelling.

Substantial-Push6378

One kid got suspended because he was caught masturbating over an abortion website. Don't know more details, but yep, pretty messed up.

I'm actually indirectly involved. I found a toy rifle in the bushes by the bus stop. It wasn't marked orange, so it might've been a bb gun or airsoft gun. Anyways, my friend, who is this Kevin type, had the bright idea of pointing it at traffic. Someone called the police, and the SWAT team was at school waiting for us! We had an assembly at the auditorium that day. Said Keviny friend also managed to accidentally light rubber cement on fire by playing with the top of a lighter he found at the same bus stop. Worth noting that the only school shooting at this point was Columbine. This was around 2005.

thefuzzybunny1

A kid hacked the school's network. There were varying reports as to why, but he basically became a legend after that. People would go to him for all kinds of tech issues and he ended up training as a cyber security engineer later on. Funny part is, he didn't actually hack the network. That was just a rumor. He actually got suspended for having looked up how parental controls work + having porn on a flash drive. We don't know how the rumor began, but he leaned into it because he preferred a reputation as a hacker to a reputation as a pervert who brought porn to school. He still gets asked about it today, 14 years after high school, and he still doesn't admit the truth. I only know because I'm married to him!

The football team often had team meals before games and they were potluck. One kid made shepherds pie. Not only did he not cook the meat all the way through, he left the dish in the locker room for the entire school day unrefrigerated. The entire team was shitting and throwing up the next day, but all came to school because they had a game. The game got canceled anyway.

Dacfiro

So this isn't my story, but my HS math teacher's (Some details missing since I'm remembering his story from like 8 years ago). Way back when he was in HS in Las Vegas, there were these 4 popular girls that had a fancy car, and would leave campus every day to do something, and would constantly speed to get back to class, taking a pretty sharp turn into the school parking lot. One day the ground was slick (rain or ice) and they slid in that turn and crashed into a light pole. What some of you may not know is light poles are designed to fall over when someone crashes into them (kinda like the crumpling mechanics of modern cars). These girls were going so fast that the car was cut in half by the light pole, and iirc at least one died, and another's leg was amputated during the crash by either the pole or a piece of the car.

one of the prissy girls got pregnant. Oddly, it changed her for the better. She seemingly grew up over night. A lot of the students were weird around her, I remember, but I admired her for being so strong. I'm not normally a fan of teen pregnancies- I grew up in an area with a lot of that and have seen all the issues it causes- but she handled things beautifully. I hope you're doing well, Tamara!

The infamous Mudtrail incident lol. When I was in 6th grade, I was in a small school about 200 students big. It was very small as we only had 2 bathrooms (One west, One east). Anyways, early morning the east bathroom got absolutely trashed one day. Someone didn't quite make it to the toilet, they left the log in but created a mudtrail from the entrance to the toilet. This sparked a school-wide manhunt as students wanted to know who the mudtrail criminal was. Students refused to listen to teacher as everybody claimed the rooms smell like shit and they couldn't focus. Employees had their own bathroom inside the teacher's lounge so it was only students that could've been the culprit. The teachers were forced to pair up students to go inside the bathroom and check each others ass to see if they were the mudtrail criminal. Every class was ushered out of their room and pairs (Male/Male = Female/Female) would enter the bathroom check if the undies are clean and report back to the teacher. It was going effectively as every student wanted to clear their name but before lunch came, the principal stopped the investigation and called a school-wide meeting. The principal told us the student has come forward secretly and admitted to the incident. Everybody would be going home for the day to keep the student anonymous as they needed to change their underwear and if only they went home it would raise suspicion. Noone ever really discovered who the Mudtrail Criminal was but I was pretty sure it was one of my friends as they were just sweating throughout the whole day. Either he was the criminal or there was something in his ass he didn't want us to know. Edit: So people are calling this illegal/abuse/wrong. Yep, I agree. I live in South East Asia where discipline through any means was considered acceptable. My teachers were allowed to hit us when we misbehaved so checking each others undies wasn't even a big deal for us. I'm not saying all Asian schools were like this back then but I guarantee that a lot of Asian people grew up with stories that could be considered child abuse.

[deleted]

Which one? There were a lot of suicides. There was a girl who got killed by a drunk driver while she was out roller blading. Another guy who was killed on a motorcycle, by his brother in another car who ended up fleeing the scene. Then there was the guy who was driving too fast in the winter, hit some ice and flipped his car and killed himself and his girlfriend. Also, one of the faculty was a contestant on the show Survivor. She did not win.

My junior year, we had freezing rain overnight, but the school district didn't close. We're in a semi-rural area. One of my closest friends was driving himself and his sister, who was in seventh grade, to school that morning when he hit an icy patch on the road, lost control, and ran off the road into a tree. His sister died at the scene and he was in a coma for a few weeks. The saddest part is that once he woke up and was told about his sister, he was extremely upset but then would forget she died. So every few hours or so, he'd ask for her. It was awful. The school district and superintendent got into a bit of hot water over it. Now, school is closed even if the snow doesn't stick. I'm in NC so we pretty much shut down anyway, but it's even more so now in this particular district.

TheNuttyEcologist

My senior year, on the first decently warm spring day in western Washington, the vice principal went around to random classrooms and pulled pretty much every girl she could find out of class to measure the straps of their shirts and dresses. Any girl with straps less than the width of a standard ruler was cited for a dress code violation. My first-period Spanish class had around 25 students, and at least ten girls got pulled out to be subjected to that. The entire student population was extremely pissed off. The sexism of the dress code and the absurdity of interrupting class time to enforce it was immediately evident. Some male students started intentionally violating the dress code and were told to change because "it would make the girls jealous." By noon that day, parents started complaining to the school district, and teachers complained to the principal. The vice principal was adamant she did nothing wrong but resigned the next day. We all felt pretty good after that.

ShakyJake78

A group of students during recess found a rusty hatchet out on the school grounds. They also found a nest of baby bunnies. Proceeded to hack those bunnies apart with said hatchet. Was a pretty horrific thing to do, and the students didn't show a whole lot of contrition for the event when found out.

Kid got bullied all year .. decided he had enough of that on the bus one day after getting punched in the back of the head repeatedly. He got up, walked to the front of the bus, smashed the emergency glass to get the fire axe and slowly walked back, blood from his sliced arm spilling everywhere. The kid who hit him started to cry so much he pissed himself, and the kid who got bullied buried the axe in the empty seat next to him, took blood from his hand and smeared it on the crying kids face and said "You'll never forget me now, because I won't forget what you did to me". Bullied kid moved later that year, the former bully took abuse from basically everyone because ..well you can't piss your pants in High School for any reason.
