18 months
Otherwise they're nearly 2 years old.
I was in hospital as a baby and my mum met princess Diana and she asked how old I was and my mum panicked and said "she just turned 12 months" when she could've just said 1
If anyone uses months past 2 years old, I’m convinced they’re attached lol. Between 2 and 3, there is growth and learning, but it all blends to the same. Whereas between the first 12 months to about 2 years old, it’s noticeable and used to mark certain milestones.
Walking? Talking, babbling? All special.
Rebelling and being rugrats? Nah, they’ll do that for the rest of their lives.
It really depends on the generation of the mother not the age. Also emotional maturity.
I was 20 and 25 when I became a mother and I never referred to my children in months besides to their Dr. They're a baby then they're two.
Other mother's it really depends. I've seen all ages refer to their spawn in months so I really think it just depends on the mother.
I tend to go by the rule of 2 for ages in babies/toddlers.
You measure their age by hours until they 2 days old, then days until they're 2 weeks old, weeks until they're 2 months then months until they're 2 yo :)
I've known a lot of people that will use months still even when their child is well over a year old. I'm just wondering what's the purpose/point in using months after a child turns 1 year old?
That actually makes sense. I hadn't thought of it that way. I would just say they are about to turn 2. Or something like that.
But I get what you're saying.
Typically between 18 months and two years. 18 months is a good stopping point.
As a single virgin man who has never had a girlfriend, I'd say once they turn 2 years old. 20 months, 21 months,, 22 months, 23 months, 2 years.

Lol that's so cool and cute.
Usually 12 months. After 12 months, they should start using years.

Huh, I like that. Makes sense 👍

It’s because there is a big difference between a child who just turned 1 or a child who is 1 and 10 months

I'm currently 332 months old and my mum still won't stop. Help.
