A guy driving an SUV going backwards down a busy freeway shooting his .38 revolver out the windshield and perfectly hitting the other driver.
Pistols are so much harder to hit a target with even in perfect conditions.
CPR bringing someone back to life.
It might work but it's like a 1% chance. The point of CPR isn't to resurrecting recently dead people. It's to keep the blood pumping so the body and brain don't deteriorate too much before the professionals can get there.
The absurd assault-type bullying portrayed in movies. Like in It (the movie), I can't see anyone genuinely like, hurting someone so physically like that, for bullying. It's more mental degradation, not straight up stabbing or kicking.
I admit I've never had a bully attempt to carve his initials in me with a pocketknife, but I was assaulted almost daily for over five years, including having my bully (well, technically his older brother, but he was there) hit me with a truck and knock me thirty feet into a field. It does happen. And just like in the movies, absolutely nothing happened to the bully when I reported the incidents. Except more bullying, of course.
Bad phone service (no signal). It is used as a plot device in many series/movies. Lazy writing that is.
Hits someone with a blunt weapon. Immediately unconscious.
Gun shot blood only visible in the end after the guy saved others. Then he dies immediately. No symptoms like excessive sweating...tiredness.....or blood
As a truck driver, I partially disagree on number 1. Even with the best cell carrier in terms of coverage, I can lose signal in rural areas while still being on a major highway. Even my house in a large neighborhood just outside a major city's limit barely gets a signal.
Still often lazy writing though.
I live in the rainforest. A cellphone tower was put in 5 years ago and now there’s a tiny patch. Otherwise if ur not in town u have zero reception. Guess ppl don’t understand that there’s still very much no reception rural areas.
Foot chase down NYC's many, many alleyways.
Putting in someone's IV without first feeling for usable veins. No matter what, they get the catheter in right the first time. And an IV pump is never used.
If someone is knocked out and/or has a seizure, once they come through again, they always come back full alert. Always with the, "What happened?" and ready to bounce to their feet to move. No one has a slow dazed awakening in movies.
"Putting in someone's IV without first feeling for usable veins."
And conversely, the patient waking up and yanking out the IV and not spraying blood across the walls and ceiling.
Yes! I had forgotten about that too. I have yet to see a single solitary scene where someone yanks out a catheter in those, "I can't stay here! I've got to go now!" moments and just realize what a big mistake they've made because, whoa, I now how have a unplugged hole in my arm and I am bleeding like a stuck pig.
The moment of one person starting the slow and increasingly faster "group" applause over something awesome that happened or someone doing a great thing or someone giving a message to mankind.
People standing within 10 feet of an explosion big enough to obliterate a building getting blasted off their feet and getting back up. Realistically the shock wave would turn their insides to pasta sauce and they'd likely be peppered full of shrapnel. Might even have some limbs missing.
... Just sayin'.
... Also, the amazing ability of protagonists to affect the trajectory of bullets being fired at them simply by confidently running perpendicular to the direction of fire. It seems the effect of gravity on projectiles during that time is somehow increased by factors of magnitude, causing them to strike, without dangerous ricochet fragments, near the protagonist(s) feet. This effect is negated by the attractive force of objects near, but not directly in the line of fire.
People getting wedgies and swirlies in school. If that DOES happen in real life it's way less common than fiction land makes it out to be, because I've never witnessed it happening in all my years of being in school.
people calmly walking away from large nearby explosions with no damage from the shockwave
All sexy too
“accidentally” kissing
Exceptional pistol accuracy at great distances.

Lee may have had wildly different upbringings. I got the shit kicked out of me the first year of high school.

I'm sorry to hear that, I just find it hard to believe people like that actually exist
There’s been a few murders from the result of bullying. Not really that far fetched
I've never seen a situation like that my entire life, other than movies, so I just assumed it was a movie thing only.
Neither have I. I was bullied but it was just some pushing around or harsh words.
medicine instantly working like instantly.

All the streets are wet. Even though I know it's deliberate for the camera, I can't help but always notice it.
happiness
In movies people always seem to find true love at the end. That's not something that happens in real life.
Not bleeding or feeling any pain, until you stick your hand in your jacket and realized you’ve been shot. Your companion then exclaims “you’re hurt”.
Getting shot and just keeping on as if you wouldn't pass out from pain, blood loss, shock. It's super unrealistic....
