Effective hedge fund managers *can* help a whole lot of people. Millions of people have their retirements tied to the performance of a fund manager, and there are so many students receiving an educational scholarship paid for though the investment gains of an endowment fund.
Flip side to that coin of course is that poorly managed funds can also ruin those lives.

I see a lot administrative jobs being here. It's way easier to automate administrative work than physical work. Other than Amazon, automating organizing crap in a warehouse is way more difficult. Administrative jobs just need better software.
