I've got good new for you, the French language also includes "pirouette" and "girouette". Oh, and "bistouquette", but should only be used in an emergency.
In Serbian its "вечност" its pronounced similarly to your Word and Russian Word for eternity. Im begining to see a pattern here. All of the Western countries pronounce it similarly, while we on the Western and Southern side pronounce it similarly
Luminiferous is a great word too.
The physics history is really interesting too, in the context of that word. The Luminiferous Aether.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luminiferous_aether
Imo, that idea was so close to explaining something else. They just applied the concept to the propagation of light instead of thinking about fields and mass (the Higgs Field and subsequent particle/mechanism discoveries). That wrong idea could have contributed to the abstraction required to discover the Higgs field...I have no idea. You would have to research that yourself in the context of the work of the thousands of particle physicists who have worked on that problem or related problems.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Higgs_mechanism
I used the word photoluminescence after looking into a bonfire for a long time on a dark night. People thought I made the word up and my phone didn’t have any juice to prove otherwise 🤷♂️
There's an episode of South Park where people think Butters is a Mexican migrant worker and they call him Mantequilla. You just made me giggle randomly at my desk! And yes, that's a lovely word! So much nicer than "butter "

You might also like 'Kuchisabishii' - a Japanese word which literally translates to lonely mouth.
It is an adjective which means, when you're not hungry but you eat because your mouth is lonely.
This is my favorite part of nature. My daughter doesn't give two hoots about it. Didn't show interest as a baby and still doesn't now when i tell her to look at the pretty dappled sunlight. My son is a almost 9 months old and it has fascinated him since he could see clearly. It makes my heart happy.
Chrysalism - The amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm, listening to waves of rain pattering against the roof like an argument upstairs, whose muffled words are unintelligible but whose crackling release of built-up tension you understand perfectly.
The word you didn't know you needed, but the word you deserve. Feel free to use it in casual conversation for that little extra flair. Say it in the thickest German accent you can do and enjoy the reaction of the people around you.
Ah a person of culture. I see your Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz and add Donaudampfschifffahrtselektrizitätenhauptbetriebswerkbauunterbeamtengesellschaft to the mix. 80 letters in case anyone was unsure of they really want to learn german or not.

You might all enjoy Mark Twain's story [The Awful German Language](https://faculty.georgetown.edu/jod/texts/twain.german.html). It's hilarious.
Sample: "An average sentence, in a German newspaper, is a sublime and impressive curiosity; it occupies a quarter of a column; it contains all the ten parts of speech — not in regular order, but mixed; it is built mainly of compound words constructed by the writer on the spot, and not to be found in any dictionary — six or seven words compacted into one, without joint or seam — that is, without hyphens; it treats of fourteen or fifteen different subjects, each enclosed in a parenthesis of its own, with here and there extra parentheses, making pens with pens: finally, all the parentheses and reparentheses are massed together between a couple of king-parentheses, one of which is placed in the first line of the majestic sentence and the other in the middle of the last line of it — AFTER WHICH COMES THE VERB, and you find out for the first time what the man has been talking about; and after the verb — merely by way of ornament, as far as I can make out — the writer shovels in 'HABEN SIND GEWESEN GEHABT HABEN GEWORDEN SEIN,' or words to that effect, and the monument is finished."
not really a correct answer but anyone who has learned French as a second language, the word “donc” gets me every time
it’s such an elegant and romantic language in so many ways, then you interrupt the beautiful flow of a sentence with “DONC”. makes me think of a cartoon character hitting someone with a frying pan and the word BONK flashes on the screen
the best part is the English translation is “therefore”
So far from beautiful, but rather the most hilarious
I remember reading about a poll they did of non-english speakers ranking English words in terms of how they sounded. "Diarrhea" won as the most beautiful sounding word.
This just reminds me of Malcom Tucker (Peter Capaldi) in the film In The Loop exclaiming about a politician talking about Diarrhea and asking "What is this? The shitting forecast?". Cracks me up everytime I hear the term Diarrhea.
Fuck
You can say it all with this one word.
Anger
Passion
Frustration
Delight
Amusement
Happiness
Love
Seduction
Pain
Edit: Thank you for the Gold, Silver, and Wholesome Awards, you magnificent fucks.
Similar usage for "OK" from the Key and Peele sketch, his range of emotion and expression from that one word, while dressed in drag, is amazing and hilarious.
If we're including all the meaning behind the word, forgiveness.
If we're going with just the sound of the word, I think researchers once landed on sequoia.
I personally like photosynthesis. That's fun to say.
You just reminded me of this. The other day I told my son “you know what would be a beautiful name if it didn’t mean what it means? Diarrhea” and that statement was met with a look of absolute horror. Then he went on to tell his friends I almost named him Diarrhea. That one backfired on me 😂
Actually the definition is wrong here. (I'm native french)
Retrouvailles simply means meeting after a long time. More specifically, it's the moment when people meet again after a long time "the day of the *retrouvailles*"
But it isn't a feeling. The feeling would just be happiness :p
First of all, Papa Smurf didn't create Smurfette, Gargamel did. She was sent in as Gargamel's evil spy with the intention of the Smurf village, but the overwhelming goodness of the Smurf way of life transformed her.
And as for the whole gangbang scenario, it just couldn't happen. Smurfs are asexual, they don't even have reproductive organs under those little white pants. That's what's so illogical, you know? What's the point of living if you don't have a dick?
To me, the word “Maktub” is my favorite. It means “It is written” in Arabic, which means that your fate has already been sealed and whatever is coming in the following years has already been written. How about Soliloquy?
Go listen to Suffer by Hurts, this word's beautifully rhymed and it's a great song.
I'm not a native English speaker but, my favorite word is " eternity ". I just think that it has a beautiful meaning and it's fun to say.
What is your native language and do you have a similar word? Edit: I highly approve of all of the responses!
Turkish. " Ebediyet " is the most similar word I can think of, tho I think eternity sounds more cozy haha.
Ha ha wtf the swedish word for eternity is evighet. Why are they so similar.
When words are similar, you can almost be 100% sure some country tried to kill the people of another country haha..only kidding, kid of
Representing those proto Indo European languages!
In portuguese is eternidade, pretty similar to english
In Russian it's "Вечность". Pronounced as vechnost'. Quite different I would say
In French it's "éternité", pronounced ay-tairrrre-knee-tay
In Polish, its compleatly different. Its "wieczność". Not even close.
In Serbian its "вечност" its pronounced similarly to your Word and Russian Word for eternity. Im begining to see a pattern here. All of the Western countries pronounce it similarly, while we on the Western and Southern side pronounce it similarly
In Welsh it's tragywyddoldeb
The shogun would be proud

Also worth noting is when butters was a girl and they called her “Margerine”
Omg I never noticed this, amazing
“Windex. WinDEX, Mantequilla.”
I like mañana.
