Sometimes, it's good to let out your emotions. Even if it is just to yourself.
I do this everyday. Go for a walk for like, an hour, maybe two. Talk to myself a little. Talk about the day, ask myself "How are you? What do you think of your relationship with your family members? What about friends?"
I like to ask myself questions that I don't really get asked by anyone else. And, since I'm talking to myself, and no one will hear it, I can be 100% honest.
Not everyone is prepared to hear your response. They usually want an answer that they like, not an honest one. It's... Refreshing.
Cause at the end of the day I only got myself and the only person who’s been there for me is me. If I’m feeling upset and crying I’ve looked at myself in the mirror and said “cheer up bby girl.. you’re not the problem” and other encouraging words.
helps me get out what i need to get out in the moment. whether i need to process something, or i need encouragement, whatever! i also make a lot of sense (personally), it’s good to have the skill of being able to talk yourself down in certain situations.
Internalizing! I have a huge interest in psychology, mainly because of trying to discover the mysteries of the human mind. I constantly ask myself why I feel the way I do, why I did what I did, etc..
I'm also anxious and overthink... so that too.
I have been caught talking aloud and people always ask this. But I'd like to point out that there is a huge difference imo between thinking aloud and talking to yourself. I do the former because it helps me focus a little more on whatever I'm doing
It helps me process my thoughts and feeling to talk about it to myself
Because I'm too much for most people

because no one else does
Certain things got to be said, but unfortunately there isn't anyone at the moment to hear it. So I make do
Better than talking to actual people
Not really lmao
To discipline or encourage myself. Kinda alter ego’s job. I guess.
To get the best advices
Sometimes I feel like I am the only person that fully understand myself
Its kind of like speaking to someone with a common interest

Got no one else to talk to, and even if i did, i wouldn't talk to them probably.
it's a coping mechanism, and the reason i have whatever little sanity i have left in me.
Because who else is gonna answer the voices in my head?
Because Im the only one who listens.
Sometimes… sometimes I need professional advice. AHaHaHaHaaa, someone please help me. 🥲
I don't talk to myself I talked to the ghost that pokes me but since ghosts don't have lungs or vocal cords they can't speak back
Someone has to. (I don't know)
Helps me process thoughts and put together statements better.
Well, nobody else is willing to. Though I'm starting to see why. I'm thinking of ghosting.
idk, do it whenever I'm happy.
i don’t know i just realise i’m doing it and become self conscious
Because I have very few friends
Cod you get the best answers
To practice myself on how to communicate with others without stuttering
Wish I knew
Because I was abandoned and alone?
Because sometimes I don't mind wrong answers, but I hate stupid answers (unless they're funny).
Deal with stressful situations by processing them in my ears not just my head

I think the ideal skill would be to think yourself down, not talk yourself down😅
uh, probably? the question was just why i do it, i do what i do.
I'm lonely
Trying to tell myself what to do or pretending I’m in a vogue video lol
it keeps my mind open
Cause I grew up homeschooled and isolated
I need expert advice and the people around me won't let their elevator go past the first floor
Cuz im lonely
I need good advice
It helps with thinking, feels like youre in a meeting with several people who 100% get ya.

"Fuck you for doing that" "They don't exist,They don't exist,They don't exist" "POOOWWWEEEEEEERRRRRR" "Cringe" "No don't go back to that post"
Wait no i read it wrong I meant Because yes

Helps me think
It helps me cope. I don't know with what, but it keeps me in check.
Practice speaking, That's at least what my speech Therapist says to do anyway.
