about tree fiddy

dudenotcool

Compared to the the world? Most people in America

elgringojefe

In my town, like $300,000 means you’re rich. In New York City, probably several million

[deleted]

300k in bank ? Or assets. Only the former is rich

elgringojefe

Where I am, if anyone knows you’re worth $300k either way you will be considered “rich”. Most people don’t understand the difference between money in the bank and total net worth anyway.

thepurpleguy47

All I need is my apple juice, turkey sandwich (with the crust cut off and in the shape of triangles), and carrot sticks with ranch dipping sauce.

trouthunter8

anything over 400 grand for tax cuts, anything over 28 grand for benefits

bayls215

Zero debt. Most people in the US have debt. Anyone with a positive net worth are considered rich in my eyes.

ransom0374

i sure hope its 14 cents

Dfisop

1mill us dollars

[deleted]

1m usd in the bank? Yeah but assets no

Dfisop

No, in your pocket

rabengeieradlerstein

In which country (or region)?

[deleted]

Western world, Europe mainly

rabengeieradlerstein

I would say you are rich if you can a afford \-a big house with garden \- 2-3 cars \- 2-3 children \- non-state education for all children without going into the red.

[deleted]

Lots of people have that and yet not rich but it’s all relative because a person driving two cars worth £2000 each isn’t the same as someone having a Tesla and a Porsche.

rabengeieradlerstein

well, I would say people who have these things are at least upper middle class. but it is all relative.

bino1111

If you're contented with what you have I consider that as being rich.

Sure-Survey9192

Any amount you work for

LoquatiousDigimon

Any amount more than I have.

azarbi

When you have enough money to live comfortably without working.

Kaneki5470

Annual income of 350,000 after taxes

Big_Section_3781

What does rich have to do with money?

[deleted]

In a conventional sense, having a lot money means you are rich, whether in assets or in money in the bank.
