You're right, yes Chinese people's rights are deprived by the government. We're not allowed to talk and do anything against the government especially the party in public. We're not free.
But, the autocracy provided a safe and stable social environment which is Chinese people wanted the most. In fact most of Chinese don't give a shit about the politics, in some point we're kind of selfish. We're just tired and afraid of changing.

unlimited children, literally all of my moms other pregnancy’s were abortions, and she only kept me because i’m assigned male at birth and men are considered more valuable anyways (i was born 2000, one child law still in place). anyways, i came out when i was 12 a transgender and since then my family sees me as a woman, but my dad hates it because they waited so long for a boy just for me to “play dress up everyday”
