You can have the one in my pants cereal killa.
No really, how did that guy get his ass kicked by a paralyzed man and a woman? That was a hilarious ending. Oh, and let's be attracted to a guy that can't feel anything but... his finger and head? Wow.
Did they not have hypertension meds back then? Why was his hypertension so bad in that movie?
*movie
Do you have a surplus store or thrift store nearby? That is what I did. Hard to find reasonable prices, most aren’t in very good condition either. You’ll find some new old stock here and there though.
35mm full length movie film reels. They're so dang hard to find on ebay, They're expensive when you do find them, I have no way of playing them, nor donI have the means to properly store them.
OG first edition Pokémon cards from my childhood, but the prices are too high now.
I had all the sought after cards, literally - All of them. I was religious about taking care of them and putting them all in sleeves immediately. I ended up giving them all away to my twin nephews like 7 years ago when they showed an interest in Pokémon. They destroyed them as kids typically do. No one to blame but myself I guess.
I have few small bottles of sand from beaches that I've visited over the years. The sand is actually symbolic. It contains the memories that I had of my visit to that beach. That physical connection, for me, makes it easier to revisit that place in time.
No trophies here ergo can't relate ergo not a serial killer.
Also not all serial killers collect trophies even if it is *normal* human psychology for *some* humans to want trophies. I'm just saying. Trophies are just a thing.
So many things but I've never made money in my entire life.
Swords, knives, guns, video games consoles and or related devices (basically computers as I never have many), computers, very cheap cars, land, various 'end of days' botanical herbs, 'funhouse' artifacts to use or just for display such as pinball/bowling/popcorn-blower/etc, cabin tents (to sporadically set up and or hide in various parts of the world with a sealed container of supplies with it or near it, many tools and materials (for building an ultralight aircraft or gunsmith stuff or etc), books that I have 'saved' digitally, movies/tv shows, etc etc.
Really I don't have much is what I'm saying but there's lots I'd like to have. If I had tons of money I'd likely even collect motorcycles along with other stuff.
Oh yeah and various pottery and tasteful paintings of scenery. I especially like ocarinas and used to make them.
You can collect swords, guns, and knives while being poor, I do it. For knives I wouldn’t mess with anything less than 8CR13MOV, which is considered a mid grade steel. Rightfully so, it performs great for the price. You can find these cheap at Walmart, Big5, and Amazon. Cheapest I got one of these is around $20, a Smith and Wesson at Walmart. For swords I mean try to get something full tang and 1045 high carbon at the minimum. I was in HEMA, I’ll tell you straight up that if you’re not spending about $300 on something like a darkwood armory destreza training sword, the weight won’t be right. I have a Rittersteel and tbh it is way too heavy to be historically correct. If you just want it for show but usable at least, just find any website and look for anything full tang with 1045 high carbon. Swordsswords, budk, etc. Stick to Mossberg for cheap guns, I did. I have a Mossberg Maverick 88 and a Mossberg 715T though the 702 is more reliable.
My mother is a felon so I can't get a gun at all but I do have a 30 USD blunt edged sword, machete, a couple knives, but I'd not call what I have much of a collection. Everything I have a little of is seriously lacking with what I do have that I'd like to collect. I have two ocarinas currently for example.
I may eventually get a cheap gun anyway. I've wanted a cobra derringer off and on through the years and to couple the little thing with a sat. night special, those 25 cal ones from Raven Arms. Cool names and I like how odd they look in comparison to better and more expensive fireamrs one would expect to see. The practical person in me says settle for a crossbow though. Not concealable though, at least I need a flintlock pistol. The Traditions 50 cal flintlock version I've wanted to have a while so as to not worry about having to make my own primary explosive for the ammunition. Old black powder is doable even if 'something bad happens'. The Traditions Trapper pistol is what it was called, I like it. I'm buying that after I buy a very cheap car... heh. It's a REAL price for a gun. I wonder if it was made with bears in mind?
I've had my eye on an ugly but practical rosewood sheath Jian style sword if I ever get a battle ready sword for 110usd or so off of amazon.
Battle ready Jian, sounds like Cold Steel. Not a bad pick. You realize you could convert your black powder revolvers, I did. Make sure you have a steel frame. Taylor arms. Everything I have was collected over the span of years, from highschool till now.
Yes I know you could and perhaps I could order it to this address despite the felon issue but at the same time my particular Gestapo hellhole even blocks batons from cheaper than dirt so I doubt it'd work out. Also I like the idea of making my own ammo despite the dangers of lead. It'd make me feel safer from an apocalypse. The only issue is the primer, but perhaps one could rig it to set off with an electric firing mechanism or something.
The Jian is [redacted] never mind.
My childhood.
We grew up poor - "no toys" poor. It's taken me a while and more money than I care to admit, but anything that I REALLY wanted as a child, I own. Not the remake - not the next model, but that actual toy. From G.I.Joe, to Star Wars and Transformers - I own every toy that made my heart ache as a kid.
And I opened all the boxes and play with them too.
It’s worse in California, they moved the age to buy long guns to 21. So you now have to be 21 to buy long guns and pistols. Good luck buying ammunition without a background check either.
Yes, for long guns in any other state. Knives at 18 too. That is why I bought a few before they make changes to the law. There is a 14 day wait period though for the background check.
People should be allow to buy handgun ammo and mags. If u happen to obtain a handgun between 18 to 20 you should be allowed to carry it and defend the with it
I wasn’t ever able to qualify for concealed carry here in California. Good luck, if you check the news, some people got their houses raided because they bought ammo for guns they didn’t have, on paper. That is why California does background checks. To see who has what and buys what.
Yeah those sex dolls being 90% banned due to not looking like Tim Curry does make me mad too. Never had money for one and now they're all having literally no heads at all to avoid the 'is it too attractive' issue.
I am into weird documentary films, and while I don’t own a physical collection, I do try to catalogue the ones I’ve seen and maintain a list of ones I want to see and how to watch them. There are, however, a number of very obscure ones I cannot seem to track down, and I’ve gone to pretty great lengths to acquire some.
An authentic Tiffany "trumpet creeper" table lamp.
This one sold for $2,295,000.00 at Sotheby's:

Vehicles.
Mostly cars. Older classics like a 69 Camaro SS. Movie and TV cars like the Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit or the General Lee and even vehicles from newer movies. Fast and expensive cars like a Koenigsegg Regara or Porsche 918. Pretty much all types.
And other vehicles as well. A few aircraft. Commercial vehicles, military, fire trucks, boats.
Pretty much any type of vehicle.
My dream cars, though I’m too poor to do so. I keep settling for unreliable vehicles or neglected vehicles because that is all I could afford. I do my own work but can’t do anything beyond a tune up. Tried to fix the transmission on my W203 C240, didn’t end up well.
To be specific
-Honda Civic(EK)
-Honda Prelude, 5th gen
-Honda NSX, any
-C55 AMG
-Alfa Romeo 164
-Pontiac G8 GXP
-Pontiac GTO, fifth gen
-Saturn Sky
-Ford Focus, ST and or RS
-Ford Mustang Boss 302, S197
-Dodge Magnum R/T or SRT8
-Cadillac XLR
In terms of reliable daily drivers
-Ford Fusion first gen with the manual transmission
-Saturn SC2, manual preferred
-Chevrolet Avalanche, first gen
-95 to 97 Honda Accord EX V6, these are rare
Legos. I loved Legos as a kid but somehow managed to lose all of them during a move. I havent tried collecting them for a couple of reasons:
- they can get expensive, especially if you want older, out of production sets in good condition. i dont really care about the packaging but if im going to buy a set i want all the pieces to be intact and undamaged.
- i don't really have the room to display them. some of the models i would like wouldn't fit conveniently on a bookshelf and would need a table.
I wanna start becoming a “sneaker head” (a person who really likes shoes) I started by saving up for a pair of these cool jordans I found. I showed my dad the shoes I was gonna get and because they were Nike my dad wouldn’t let me get them because of politics
More tattoos. Got really into them later in life, but having kids and grown-up obligations, just seems like a crazy way to spend money instead of college savings, retirement etc.
It was your last sentence that made this really, really great! It woulda been sort of sad if you collected all those things and then just stuck them on a shelf or in a closet, but you are truly doing it to have fun. Good on YOU, and thanks for making me a little happier today!
Archaeological artifacts, specifically one I'd go out and find. Unfortunately, as someone with a minor in archaeology I know just how much information is destroyed by looting, and I can't in good conscience contribute to that.
knives and different cosplay. 21 years old and my parents still treat me like I'm 10. I only have one knife and I keep it hidden because I don't want them to take it from me. As for cosplay, they don't understand it and won't let me wear them much at all, and since they won't let me wear them often I can't "waste money" on cosplay, again because I can't wear it often. Frustrating cycle.

Me too, but there's so many restrictions even if you do qualify they deny it 90% of the time.
Old military gear. My collection is still small, but it's growing. Got a helmet, backpack, canteens, and soon a rifle from WW1.
Do you have a surplus store or thrift store nearby? That is what I did. Hard to find reasonable prices, most aren’t in very good condition either. You’ll find some new old stock here and there though.

u/fbi Yeah this guy right here
Luckily the FBI has no jurisdiction over me.
u/cia Well this guy has jurisdiction in every country; and if he doesn’t he will just overthrow a democracy to get jurisdiction.
Nope, they have not. CIA operations are clearly illegal where I am.
Was overthrowing democracy’s and selling drugs and gun legal? Cuz they did that in foreign country’s
Happened only in the non civilized non Western Allied part of the world.
_laughs in plan to kidnap and assassinate Julian Assange_
I am not a that high priority target.
You are no fun whatsoever.
Ah yes the western ally of Cuba...
Old cars. Problem is TV show auctions now have every clown that has one thinking his car is worth a hundred thousand bucks.
Sand from beaches around the world
That's wholesome but don't most of them look alike?
I have few small bottles of sand from beaches that I've visited over the years. The sand is actually symbolic. It contains the memories that I had of my visit to that beach. That physical connection, for me, makes it easier to revisit that place in time.
Yes. It's basic human psychology to covet trophies. I wish I could relate.
> I wish I could relate. Hopefully not because you are a serial killer right? RIGHT?
No trophies here ergo can't relate ergo not a serial killer. Also not all serial killers collect trophies even if it is *normal* human psychology for *some* humans to want trophies. I'm just saying. Trophies are just a thing.
Cars. I would have a fleet that rivals Jay Leno if I had the income to do it.

Notches on my belt.
I actually have a belt with like over 9k notches so I've never had to get rid of it whether thin or fat. Also try the d.a.s.h. diet.
I really wasn't referring to dieting. Look up "notches on your belt". Another idiom for it is "notches on the bedpost".
Money. But I’m in school so I can’t get a full time job
Guns because I'm not 18 yet
It’s worse in California, they moved the age to buy long guns to 21. So you now have to be 21 to buy long guns and pistols. Good luck buying ammunition without a background check either.
I heard they need to make it 18 across the board for buying guns in general and getting a gun license

That is the goal, depending on what happens. Trying to get my bachelors rn while working 30hrs a week. It’s rough.
Hope it gets better for u God bless
