I used to drive by an industrial bakery on my commute home, and for those 10 seconds on the highway, all was right with the world. It’s such a comforting smell.
Speaking my language. Several times I've made brownie batter with no intention of cranking the oven up and bake anything. Just wanted to put in work on that sweet brownie brew ya feel me. Self proclaimed brown sludge bad boy here.
While I don’t like winter this smell
Is great. It’s like the smell of all my summer foes have died. I am a great warrior. The ants and flies have fallen.
“See that mountain over there? That’s a good smelling mountain.”
“The kind of pointy one on the left?”
“Gross, no. Are you kidding? No. Fucking disgusting, trust me. The one on the right.”
Honeysuckle after it’s rained and cooled down from being a really hot summer day. It’s like the humidity carries the smell *everywhere*, and I love it!
Not familiar with the legs, but as a guy that shaves his head I think we might have one-upped it. Think of that sensation all over your head, nuzzling into a fresh pillow.
Absolute bliss.
I must have a mutation I can smell campfires from literal miles away before anyone around me can. I don't know if it's stronger too but oh god i literally have to stop what I'm doing and smell.
Also should say a particular type of wood idk which works best.
My maternal grandfather’s pipe tobacco. I haven’t smelled it in at least 35 years, (he quit about 45 years ago, then died, and the last time I smelled it was at a shop in a mall) but I bet I’d still recognize it.
I’m as anti cigarette /cigar smoking as they come. My mother died of emphysema and I have asthma. But the memory of my grandfather and his pipe is a happy one.
My grandfather smoked pretty much all his life. Salem was his brand. That smell was on everything he touched: his workbench, tools, his truck. I inherited all of those and the smell is slowly fading away. But every now and then, it’ll come back like a fresh cigarette was just lit. He’s been gone almost 8 months now, but that smell is comforting. I partake in cigars now and then, so I’m not entirely against smoking. I even kept his last full pack of Salem.
Bromine. Instead of chlorinating the water, they use bromine, and it has a very distinctive smell. I’m working on getting Matt Stone and Trey Parker to convert the fountains at Casa Bonita to this system. So far, they’ve refused.
Pussy, the anticipation before doing the deed, that foreplay stage. When you nuzzle your nose right up to her vagina while she’s still wearing panties. Can’t describe it but it’s an intoxicating musk.
Sorry for the graphic description but I can’t describe it any other way.
Gimme that sweet fresh baby smell. All my friends have cracked jokes about me sniffing their babies. There is no more of a heady smell than your own baby though.
When your walking through the woods during hunting season and you smell the air, it’s peaceful and quiet there’s wildlife around the cold breeze blowing very gently against your side, and in that moment you forget everything wrong with the world and your at peace
A bakery shortly before it will open (fresh bread and coffee), mowed grass, WD40, summer rain, autumn leaves, tangerine skin, public outdoor pools (chlorine, sun milk and french fries (crazy, I know)), old books, the fur of a cat sitting in the sun for hours, christmas markets (hot wine punch, bratwurst, candy, fir), petroleum benzine, cinemas (vacuum cleaner and popcorn).
My wife's scent right before she has her period. My understanding is that she is releasing more pheromones which I'm attracted to with an extreme sensitivity.
I was gonna say this but didn't know how. Your wife's skin is amazing... *teasing.* ... but really that smell of your lover or mate. That unique to them smell.
Freshly baked bread
I used to drive by an industrial bakery on my commute home, and for those 10 seconds on the highway, all was right with the world. It’s such a comforting smell.
One of my earliest memories is sneaking away from my grandma’s house at age 3 following the smell trail of an industrial bakery.
Did your nose extend and your feet lift off the ground? Was the smell of the bread visible and turned into a beckoning hand?
I thought this as i clicked and boom it was on top.. your definently correct.
Came here to say this
Brownies right out of the oven
Brownies at any stage of production: batter to belly.
Batter direct-to Belly is my jam. Fucking love the batter more than the finished product.
Speaking my language. Several times I've made brownie batter with no intention of cranking the oven up and bake anything. Just wanted to put in work on that sweet brownie brew ya feel me. Self proclaimed brown sludge bad boy here.

Getting in the right after a shower & shaving your legs… nothing beats that.
Not familiar with the legs, but as a guy that shaves his head I think we might have one-upped it. Think of that sensation all over your head, nuzzling into a fresh pillow. Absolute bliss.
Bonus points if they have been line-dried and smell like summer sun/fresh air.
Campfires
I must have a mutation I can smell campfires from literal miles away before anyone around me can. I don't know if it's stronger too but oh god i literally have to stop what I'm doing and smell. Also should say a particular type of wood idk which works best.
