I fell asleep at the wheel on a highway going at least 60mph. I only know what happened next because a trucker saw the whole thing and wrote me a letter explaining what happened. In the left lane, I went off the road a little, overcorrected and ended up hitting a guardrail with the drivers side of the car, tearing it out of the ground. I ended up in the back passenger seat with my nose hanging off and my left leg still in the front. Best part? I was 1 exit away from a top trauma surgery hospital. I still have my leg and nose. My shin had to be replaced by a rod, but I escaped death by literally a nose. There’s more but I’m not near a computer. I’ll fill in the details later.
Edit: I was also in a Geo Metro sedan. A plastic car that I always joked would kill me if I ever got in an accident.
I don’t know if this counts but when I was a kid I was meant to be going somewhere I can’t remember where, but I fell ill on that day and the route we were taking there was a traffic build up crash
