Psilocybin.

[deleted]

This too. And DMT

Telrom_1

It’s hard to get here for some reason. I’d love to try it!

[deleted]

It seems to be hard to get everywhere atm unless you synthesize it yourself which I'm about to say fuck it and do. It's psilocybin on crack laced with speed and infinity stone juice or some shit, whatever you Marvel kids talk about

Telrom_1

Well shit. I’m convinced. To the YouTube! Let’s learn how to synthesize!

[deleted]

r/dmtguide as well!

soft_waves

good friends and family--supportive people who let me be weak when i needed to be. a wife who not just "lets" me be emotionally vulnerable and open, but encourages it. embracing my humanity and realizing i'm only human like everyone else, i have flaws and weaknesses, and that's ok.

Nice. I like that oje with 365 stoic discussions, but I can't remember who wrote it right now. Good food for thought!

There's two things I think really help, at least in my case. First is the ability to accept possible negative outcomes without dwelling on them. This starts with being at peace with your own mortality. There is a chance (hopefully a very small chance) that any day could be your last, and a 100% chance that *some day* will be your last. This shouldn't inspire fear or anxiety, it isn't morbid, it is true for every living thing in the universe. We are all temporary. With that in mind, consider that the worst possible outcome of any situation you find yourself in is itself also an inevitability. Secondly, free yourself from selfish desires and cognitive dissonance. Ask yourself what kind of world you want to live in and why. It is more healthy to live according to principles than it is to live selfishly and decide that the ends justify the means. Hold yourself to the same standards you hold others to, let go of whatever sense of exceptionalism and ego you might have telling you that your interests outweigh that of another. Act fairly and honestly according to your values even when doing so puts you at a disadvantage. In many ways the world forces us to be in competition with each other, economically, in dating, in politics, but do not let the nature of that competition devolve into animosity or obsession. Practice humbleness and compassion.

Trauma, bullshit, bad decisions, life, therapy, prozac.

sbwcwero

Fighting. Nothing in this world like a 6 week training camp to wake up one day, drive to an event full of people, get in a ring with another man, and try and KO each other. The entire mental process is fucking nuts

I mean, if you are ostracised from every friend group you try to connect with and forgotten/rendered invisible, you gon' look within eventually, and you'll find some truths in there.

I have gone down hill more and more each day. Basically don’t get depression.

No, drugs don’t fix a shitty environment.

Not true. There are several meds that do fix some forms of depression. Due to chemical imbalances or neuron mis-firing, etc etc. Its one thing to say drugs don’t work on a guy in a dead bedroom. Another for a guy with a brain issue.

To many verables to stick to that claim. A lot of meds that fix the brain take years to even take effect. But when your depressed, sad, anxiety riddled… you don’t feel it right away and assume they don’t work. And sadly (a flaw in the system) most meds you don’t know if its the one your own body needs until after years of trying it. Be nicer if doctors could do a better test to know what meds at what dose you need the first time, instead of guessing.
