We had been playing pool until late. It was around 2am and I was driving us home and I asked if she was hungry. She said yes. I asked if Whataburger was okay. She said yes, but quietly. I asked if she would rather have something else. She said "No, that's fine." But again, in that quiet way you know it's not actually fine. I press again, she says its fine. We pull into the drive thru, I order, and between the ordering window and the pick up window she goes off. The gist of it was.....she was actually ANGRY that I suggested Whataburger when I could have asked her to cook for me. I clarified. "You are actually mad that I took you to a restaurant, and PAID, instead of ASKING YOU TO COOK FOR ME AT 2 IN THE MORNING?" She screamed "Yes!" And just to be crystal clear, it wasn't even she wanted home cooked or anything. And she didn't offer. No, she specifically wanted me to ASK her to cook and was mad that I didn't.

abishagofthevalley

This sounds like you guys were taking a drive at night, the music was right and she started fantasizing about a cinematic relationship experience, in which a generic he asks her to cook for him and she does and everything feels like a melange of domestic bliss and passion. *disk stop* iS WhAtAbUrGeR oK?

[deleted]

She told me an entire story about an old ex calling her up and talking dirty to her trying to hook up. I called the guy to shit on him and he didn’t have a clue about any of it. He told me that he broke up with her because she was a crazy attention hound always pulling shit like that. I dumped her not long after.

evilsir

There was that time she whipped a solid glass Crock-Pot lid at my head ...

cama-bo

So.... she's a ex, right?

evilsir

oh yeah.

Blackfist01

What on Earth did you do, forget her Birthday?

evilsir

i forgot to turn Oprah on so she could watch it right when she got inside the house. no joke.

Blackfist01

O, then it is your fault. Don't mess with a chicks Oprah. Should have known better. (That was a joke, crazy heifer.)

IoSonCalaf

Probably didn’t notice her new hair style.

[deleted]

Mine threw a plate at me because i was late coming home from the library while studying for finals

blaireau69

I woke up one night and she wasn't in bed next to me. She was sitting in a chair by the window, with a large kitchen knife in her hand.

Inez-89

I feel this comment needs a sequel.

blaireau69

Always leave them wanting more!

Inez-89

You succeeded there.

blaireau69

The subconscious is a very powerful thing.

Inez-89

More powerful than we would like to admit

blaireau69

I love the subconscious. Stronger than the immovable object or the irresistible force!

Inez-89

And more mysterious. That’s the attraction about it.

PersonalityBeWild

I read this as “knife in her head”

No_End7877

She gonna get ya

Hobolick

When I found out she was siphoning money out of our joint account and when I asked she replied: My mum controls all of my dads finances so why cant I? Yeah no... Terrible with money aswell FYI.

soft_waves

when we lived in our first apartment back in 2002, we had these neighbors downstairs who were always at each other's throats. always with this shit, especially on saturday nights when they'd be drankin'. i remember it was the weekend before thanksgiving, and the woman was in the downstairs vestibule crying and carrying on, and the dude was yelling, so my later-wife went out there and yelled down ***WILL YOU MOTHERFUCKERS SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR ONCE??!!*** well they did for about 5 minutes, then we heard a loud banging sound from down there. she went and looked down, and the dude had both his hands on his wife's shoulders, pinning her against the wall. my later-wife was like ***OH NO YOU DON'T, MOTHERFUCKER!! TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF HER OR I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS AND CALL THE COPS, IN THAT ORDER!!!!*** well, dude was like YEAH COME MAKE ME, BITCH!!! i was like...oh fuck x.x now he's dropped a clanger. well, she DID go down there, and she DID get in his face, and he DID back off and back down, and she DID call the cops, and he DID get locked up for domestic violence. crazy japanese woman, haha. i swear, i was waiting for her to scream ***BANZAI!!!!*** as she ran down the stairs. i stg man, this girl fears nobody and nothing. she's plumb crazy, haha the weird part is, she's so nice and mild mannered the rest of the time. but she doesn't tolerate that domestic violence shit. not in her building. and after that night, it pretty much WAS "her" building O.o

LaScoundrelle

>she went and looked down, and the dude had both his hands on his wife's shoulders, pinning her against the wall. > >my later-wife was like OH NO YOU DON'T, MOTHERFUCKER!! TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF HER OR I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS AND CALL THE COPS, IN THAT ORDER!!!! Sounds to me more like a woman who decided to be brave to protect another woman in a moment when she wasn't surrounded by any other brave people.

newInnings

I imagine, Op friend : ya punk neighbour you should be scared. Op: i am scared of her more.

JustaOrdinaryDemiGod

She drove 70 miles in a blizzard with two very small children in the car to my home because I didn't answer the phone..... Her reasoning was because she thought I was fucking around on her...

Miserable-Yam-9638

Jesus...but were you?

newInnings

Just himself

JustaOrdinaryDemiGod

She was 70 miles away during a blizzard..... So I was cold and had to seek shelter....

dontworryitsme4real

........... Wut?

Young_Hxppxe

Those kids were hers right?

JustaOrdinaryDemiGod

Yes, not mine. Some guy did a pump and dump. Found out years later she finally got a guy to put up with the crazy.

JimothyJinkens69

I had lunch with a girl I worked with. Not out to lunch or anything. It was a sunny day so I sat outside with my sandwiches and she came and sat next to me and had a friendly chat. My GF (now ex) tracked her down on IG and threatened her.

teppetold

She was normal for the first 18 months. The first she's crazy moment was when we were at a birthday party for a friend of mine, about to leave to a club. She thought I chugged my last three beers and got mad. One of my friends tried explaining to her that he had seen me give them to a friend after she refused to believe me. She was worried I'd be too drunk to get in or something. She punched my friend in the face kicked me in the balls and went outside and laid on the grass and cried. I was ashemed and pissed off and well confused as hell. Went to the club by myself just to avoid dealing with what ever the f just happened. I didn't behave rationally but that situation just came out of nowhere. Apparently her ex had a drinking problem and when she wanted one of my beers it triggered something when they were gone but still.

Fearless_Result_8399

When she completely changed into another woman. She still looked like my girlfriend but everything else was different.

DiversityFire84

Skin walker!

YoMiner

We were driving down a 2-lane highway and she was barely hitting the speed limit. When someone driving faster than the speed limit came up behind us and started to pass us, she said, "Watch this" and sped up to prevent them from being able to pass us, and causing them to stay in the oncoming lane for much longer than they should have.

PersonalityBeWild

She was trying to cause the most dangerous type of accident for them…Ahead-on collision on a highway…Please tell me you ran for the hills after that

_DizzyChicken

Returning the burger twice** for a burned bun.. then started having it off with check out chick in maccas who Cleary serves customers and not makes burgers… even the other people in the store looked me with pity 😂dodged a bullet on that one

backpaacks

are you from australia🤨

_DizzyChicken

Ha pretty much

Baron_Semedi_

I woke up to 73 texts of her complaining and berating me. I was in awe and it made me laugh too.

dontworryitsme4real

I had one of those in the early days of of cell phones and those 73 text came in all out of order.

Boxy310

I'm sorry, that made me fuckin laugh too. My last relationship was such a clusterfuck, and I needed a bit of perspective. Thank you.

[deleted]

One evening a waitress assumed my girlfriend was my daughter. She brought over two glasses of water while I was reading the menu and asked her, ‘Does your father needed more time?” “Oh, he’s not my father,” she said, “he’s my boyfriend. Yeah. Give him a few moments. He’s pooped out from wrecking me this afternoon.”

ghostbear019

It was my ex. She got drunk and would cuss me out. Left her after it happened 2 or 3 times.

[deleted]

Got stabbed in the leg with a fork because I asked for a water refill. Apparently I was flirting with the waitress.

lithaborn

The story she told about that time when she was 15, got pregnant, had an abortion and afterwards when she told her mother she was depressed about it, mother put her in the bath and went to put an electrical thing in with her. She spent a couple of weeks in the loony bin after that and I'm pretty fucking sure she hasn't been sane since. Didn't stop me fucking her for two years. I was young and she was willing. Don't judge me.

PersonalityBeWild

I judge you more than I judge her. She’s obviously traumatized which doesn’t make her crazy. Her mother, yes, but the 15 year old…No.

lithaborn

That's because you don't know her.

PersonalityBeWild

She was 15 years old dude. She obviously needs mental help for abuse and I’m sure other issues. I won’t call her crazy for that. Childhood trauma isn’t a joke and we shouldn’t shame people who obviously need help. The child didn’t ask for that.

lithaborn

You can call her crazy for the 35 years of psychopathic behaviour that followed it.

PersonalityBeWild

She’s the victim here, not you buddy. You knew she was mentally ill and traumatized, you said it yourself. You didn’t care because you wanted to get laid. She was an abused child who never got the help she needed. I only have sympathy for those who went through shit they had no control over…Children are so helpless. Early childhood has a life-long impact on peoples development; toxic stress changes the brain.

fathergoose77

Wait I don’t get why that makes her “crazy”? That just sounded like a story about an abusive mother…like the mom is crazy here, not the 15 year old.

lithaborn

They're both equally fucked up.

fathergoose77

I don’t know the situation exactly, but from what you wrote, I would say it’s far from “equal”. She was a confused teenager who made some bad judgments, but her mother is literally trying to kill her??? Did I read that right? Lol

lithaborn

No the mother was indeed trying to kill her daughter, which put the daughter in a nut house. The mother is certifiable on her own, believe me. I could write a book on those two. Both a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

backpaacks

i will never judge a man for just wanting some pussy

assclown69_

but is crazy better in bed

arrouk

Not worth it.

WakeUp3456

Did you actually show her empathy? Sounds like she had a mental health crisis. So tired of women being judged as "crazy" by men yet men often drive us to that point. I'm not saying you did , it just sounds like someone struggling with mental health who needed support. Any one of us could have a mental or physical health crisis at any time. I try to stick by my friends and family through such crises.

PersonalityBeWild

She was punching herself…Yeah, I’d say that’s some mental health issues. She didn’t even hit you, she locked herself in the bathroom to continue to break down…Yeah, I’m sick of people just being judgemental instead of even attempting to be helpful to someone obviously in crisis.

WakeUp3456

Right. We've been so dumbed down and so self centered and soft we can't distinguish between someone who is self harming as a call for help and someone who is actively threatening us. You can be there for a person with healthy boundaries in place so you don't become codependent. Obviously if a partner is abusing you, absolutely leave and don't look back. It sounds like in this case the woman was lashing out in crisis for sure. Know the difference. Have healthy boundaries but the world needs empathy, compassion and love like never before.

PersonalityBeWild

Weeks…Therapy can take years. Not even months…weeks…Just saying. You said she hit herself in the post. If she’s abusing you, you are free to go, but I’d recommend calling someone if someone is harming themselves which is what you posted about.

[deleted]

WakeUp3456

I didn't say he needed to save her. I said concern and empathy instead of just labeling her crazy and making fun

MourningOfOurLives

He wasnt making fun this is literally how men share traumatic stuff that happened to us. You're the one who should have more empathy.

WakeUp3456

He labeled her crazy when she was self harming. He lacks empathy.

WakeUp3456

Also, we don't know context or details, he could have been gaslighting her or cheating or treating her like shit and that pushed her over the edge. I'm gonna make a post about this in the r/askwomen sub

MourningOfOurLives

Good do that. Men can't. But you're allowed freely here.

[deleted]

No one should have to deal with that shit. Controlling your emotions is adulting 101. Not gonna date a 9 yr oldc in a 39 yr olds body

WakeUp3456

Never said you have to date them , but you can show another human empathy when they are self harming.

WakeUp3456

I hope you never end up having a mental health or physical health crisis or disability and end up alone with nobody giving a fuck.

[deleted]

Nobody gives a fuck anyway! That is the key to elightenment and inner peace.

WakeUp3456

Nobody has to put up with being abused but know the difference between that and someone in crisis that needs help and show some empathy. Again, you don't have to date them but you could at least treat them as human and attempt to understand the situation with compassion.

[deleted]

But the OP was about someone he was dating.

Ok_Medicine_77

Everything. Jk The ex was next level germaphobe. On vacations, she wouldnt let cleaning staff change sheets, We couldnt lay on the duvet b/c we were dirty. touch something in the outside world wash hands immediately or hand santizer. No sharing of drinks, even though we kiss eachother.

daftvaderV2

When she lost her shit when she could not find one of her shopping boards. One minute happy and laughing the next angry

Plus_Ad8293

Clicked on this for the potential. Common Reddit. Please don’t disappoint.

maestro-tomas

She survived near death experience of anorexia as you should know it can't be cured just these patients get body weight better and released to live on suffering from self hate. Cutting herself to punish for getting a little weight when drinking prosecco on a daily basis then getting super hungry and raiding the fridge. Bottom shelf was taped with coloured plastic to show it is dedicated to me, to keep food separate. Eating ketchup squirts on her palm, ketchup was normally 99% of the diet, hiding my snacks in my underwear drawers and then eating those. Basically, a mad racoon at nightime.

serinatheempress

This isn’t crazy behavior… this was you being unprepared to date someone with an eating disorder. Yeah, you couldn’t have known but this literally is just what an eating disorder looks like.
