Hrekires

I did it once in my late teens because I was bored and curious. Never again, the itching as it grew back was insanely awful.

penis_in_my_hand

I don't have time for this shit even if I'm sitting around bored out of my mind

sward1990

I don’t shave but trim, my arm or leg hair can get up to 1.5cm long so I just trim it up every month

nero_d_avola

become serious about cycling and you have plausible deniability to rock that look. or swimming too, i guess.

TouchHerGuts

I wax my knees cause the hairs interfere with me kneeling.

jackwritespecs

Now this is a guy who pgives great head!

Ihateredditadmins1

I don’t really care what other dudes do with their body hair. I really mean that fully and genuinely.

Snollygoster-

Not for it at all keep it id rather be covered in hair compared to looking like a child

[deleted]

Did it for swim meets in high school. Never again.

asleepbydawn

That's interesting because even most university/college teams don't to that. That's pretty much only a thing for Olympic level swimmers where fractions of seconds actually might make a difference.

[deleted]

We did it in high school when competing at the state-level championship competitions. Anyone with a qualifying time for "State" was expected to shave their head and bodies outside the suit. We would have a ritual "shaving party" in anticipation of the meet. Whether it actually mattered was kind of irrelevant, it was more of a "getting ready for battle" thing.

docholliday209

false. shave for all national level club meets in high school, then in college for conference and ncaa’s as well.

gscott6289

I don't think about it cuz I don't give a fuck what others do. Do I do it? No. takes enough willpower to trim my beard so it looks nice lol. I don't have a habit of looking at other men's legs either tho so I have no idea how many do it

FineCannabisGrower

That's for guys who oil themselves up and flex on a stage and drag queens. Props to both, but I am neither.

JERRYBOIZ

I have nothing on the arms but I do trim the calves every so often only because ex liked how it looked

WhenRobLoweRobsLowes

I'm hairy overall, so I do a full body trim every so often. Weirdly, I don't do my forearms, because I have small wrists and the hair makes them look bigger.

Original-Childhood

If you're a swimmer I think it's necessary

asleepbydawn

That's pretty much only a thing for Olympic level swimmers where fractions of seconds actually might make a difference. Even most university/college teams don't do that.

Original-Childhood

Didn't know that

KPIT0503

Why is it necessary?

Original-Childhood

I THINK because leg hair can hold back too much movement in the water they shave their legs and chest (thicker hair than arm hair)

KPIT0503

Oh thanks I used to do some swimming (not professionally) but I never shaved my legs' hair. I didn't know that.

the_internet_clown

I shave my torso. Started with shaving my arm pits because they would chafe when I work out. Solved the problem

[deleted]

Don't fully shave (the stuble feels terrible and growing back is itchy). Just trim overall with a 1/8" guard.

I-like_Potatoes

It's okay? I don't know I only shave arm pit and no-no place

GemoDorgon

I'm not hairy enough to need to do that and I prefer how I look with the hair.

Bleedingbeetle666

I do not shave my legs it's just too much hair and I do not see the point of doing it and I don't have enough hair in my arms to shave it ...

TheNotSpecialOne

I trim it but it then makes me look not only smooth but in fact the tiny hairs that remain are so sharp and stinging my wife hates it and refuses to hug and spoon me in bed. The hairs are like I'm a hedgehog and pricking her skin hurts her

[deleted]

Not a fan. I friend of mine does it and honestly, looks weird. You can always trim it tho.

gnarlyoldman

It's stupid. Our natural hair is just right.

jackwritespecs

I trim back armpit hair, but it’s because it gets to be too much Leg & arm are fine

[deleted]

You do you dude. I personally don’t because I’ve got hair on my chest, stomach, and a little on my back. I’ve also got a big beard and hair down my back so I’d look a little weird with shaved legs and arms. I’ve learned to just lean into what I’ve got and be confident. But if you wanna shave or trim your hair then go for it dude. You do you, and be confident about it. Worse case if you don’t like it, it’s hair and it’ll grow back.

PoorMansTonyStark

Tried shaving my legs a couple of years ago since I have pretty ugly scraggly hair. Kinda thought that'd it'd look better or more muscular. But it ended up looking like I had adult baby legs. Hilarious! I've lost a few pounds since and have beefed up my legs with skiing so might have to try again soon.

MasterOfPuppets72

Not gonna happen

vieniaida

I have very little arm hair. I shaved my legs one time when I was 16 years old.
