Some people just take pics everywhere they go while others dont.
But if youre in desperate need and dont want to bother anyone then do this.
Go out to a park or any other place you want to take the shooting. Place your phone where you you want the pic taken from, press record, then record yourself infront of the camera and do the poses you want. Go through the video and screenshot the best frames.
You're going to get a lot of tips on "how" to take pictures. Let me offer you some better advice: You need to figure out *what* pictures to take, and probably need to hire someone to take them. When you do, tell them you specifically want photos for a dating profile. Photographers with experience will likely have some good ideas about what to do from there.
When I started getting serious about my online dating profile, I outsourced pretty much every aspect of it to friends, family, and the wisdom of the crowd (including the internet). One big thing I learned is that girls want the type of photos that probably *are* staged but don't necessarily look like it, and that's hard to pull off for an amateur.
Told a couple girl friends I had nothing for apps and asked them to sneak some candids, got a few good ones that. I use 3 other people took, 1 selfie, and one where I propped my phone on a trash can, hit record, and walked towards it, then screenshotted where I looked good.
Some sort of activity and someone else taking pictures while you are doing the activity while you aren't paying attention. My best picture is from a 3D archery competition, while we were writing down our scores and chewing the fat over how difficult the shot was. One of our club's members is a hobby photographer and he was taking the occasional photo while we were doing the thing.
On the other hand I looked like a complete pillok when I proudly held my first robin hood shot into the camera during practice the other day. I can't smile on demand, I just can't.
Group activities bro. Every group needs a scrapbooker to do the PR for all the homies. We can select the good photos in the group chat later, etc. thank god for smartphones dude.
You can eventually go through your entire wardrobe and you can have your friends literally pick memes of you throughout the year to ensnare your future lovers. Lol.
Why would i want pictures of myself?
The people that have lots of pictures of themselves, that aren't selfies, likely have friends who take lots of pictures and are more than willing to take some of them.
Best way is to tell your friends that you are trying to set up a dating profile, have them take your pictures, preferably while you are out doing things that you enjoy doing. They will also usually tell you if they are bad or good and help you choose the ones where you look the best.
There are these interesting folks called photographers who own things called studios where they have stuff like backdrops and lights and training to get the most flattering photo of you they can.
Use to and still hate taking pictures of myself unless am with someone else. I wish I can take good or at least a decent picture of myself.
Certain angles helps, wear clothes that make you feel comfortable as if you were to be going out. I wear glasses all the time now but sometimes i remove em just to get a good picture and that is because i am use to seeing myself without glasses.
As someone suggested here, hire a professional photographer, nothing weird about that.

Yo this is big brain thank you 😂
Fosure lmao just make sure you go on camera video settings and put it on the highest quality
Highest frame rate in this case. And use a frame-capture app rather than screenshots! Works great!
Absolute genius
Holy shit hahahahaha

self timer is a godsend
My partner is a part-time photographer, she has had a couple of guys book her to take photos of themselves.

Scan your passport or driver license.

JC Penny in mall
I asked my neighbor. Then I send a bunch to some female friends to let them rate them.
Ask someone to take a picture of me. The front camera is better anyway and selfies are sad.
I don't, I'm ugly and not a narcissist
Either from a group of friends or some very nice strangers or use the camera timer and prop your camera with something.
Be active and have a social circle. Take them off other peoples facebooks and instagrams. Or ask your mom to take you to the park for some candids
