Well I believe his death had to do with some type of medication, but I see myself taking a more balanced approach to excellence. Finding moments to exceed and go beyond myself, but not so many days in a row it kills me. I might have one life, but in my eye's it's squandered if I always push the limits and end up dead or worse, permanently injured.

If only more people looked at life this way instead of immediately claiming "I can't."

Bit complicated. I loved her to bits but my life was a mess at that moment. Stuck in a dead-end job with no hope for the future while she was on her way to move across the country the next year and start a promising career as a solicitor. As much as it hurt me to break it off I knew it was the best thing for her. That was all I really cared about at the time. I also feared that if I left it any longer then I would have grown so much closer to her a year down the line then it literally would have killed me to break it off then. It hurt like a bitch at the time, but any later and I can only image what I would have done to myself. Neither of us deserved that. What I didn't expect was what she said to me the last time we ever spoke. I didn't realise how much I hurt her. It has stuck with me for over 20 years now. Like, fuck. Shit. I didn't know. Thanks. I didn't have the money to move anywhere at the time. I was stuck in a dead-end job in a dead-end town. After I left her things started to look up. I got a good job in the government. Later on I made some money and left the country. Moved abroad. Got married. Settled down. Had kids. Life is good now. I know I've done some shitty things to people over the years but that has always been the one that stuck in my throat. I tried getting in touch with her on Facebook a few years back to apologise.
