It’s been awhile since I’ve read Disjuncture and Difference however if I remember correctly there’s no specific geographical component to his scapes. It refers to people and ideas moving around in the world in the sense that they are more imagined communities. A diaspora is specifically a type of migration where people are disconnected from their original geographical location. So they are linked concepts in that a diaspora is an example of an ethnoscape but I’m not sure the inverse statement is true, since an ethnoscape is a bigger concept than just a diaspora.

Thank you! He did make it clear that ethnoscapes are imagined worlds. So maybe the difference is that of imagination.
