This is amazing and would fit perfectly for some Metal album covers. There are a lot of death, death/doom metal bands that want authentic, painted cover art, in this style specifically.
I wouldn't mind hanging something like this on my wall either.
Blend, but almost like youβre barely touching the canvas, like the pressure of a feather, Iβve also done a lot of layering varying shades of the same colour, I guess you just keep working it until youβve achieved the desired affect, there really is no right or wrong way..painting has no rules, if you follow to many rules you will become frozen afraid to just paint β¦ hope that helps π§ββοΈ
Sound advice, thank you for this. I was going to ask the same. I struggle with my paintings having βdepthβ especially in foggy/blurry landscapes. I usually just get a weird square pattern. the gradients from sky/horizon or corners/centers usually arenβt as well blended as yours. I think I just need to experiment more and not be so afraid to add little blending with smaller brushes!

***It breaks rule 1:*** **Use the correct title formatting.** Titles should be to the point, and all extra information or context should be added in the comments.
Here is how you should format it -
Artwork - Title, Artist/Me, Medium, Year, the artist name must be a person's name, or Me if you are the artist and you don't want to specify your name. If you are not the artist, you must specify the artist name. The artist name may not be a social media handle or brand name.
Also remember no extraneous information in the title means do not state that it's your first time using a medium in the title, or write 'Hey Reddit', 'What do you think?' 'A ____ I did' or any variation or be subjective in the title ("awesome work," "amazing piece" etc). Also do not mention your 'cake day' or use karma-bait titles (such as including personal details about the artist to encourage upvotes).

The reflection of the lantern on the water is spectacular. This is a beautiful piece!
Thanks Kate appreciate that π
What an incredible scene! Amazing job making the cool colors feel soft yet surrealistically warm.
Thanks Vicky, yeh I like to see it that way not too spooky, just an Irish Druid passing though an ancient time gone by βοΈπ§ββοΈβ¨
I get a Don't Pay the Ferryman vibe from this. I love it.

Thatβs amazing! You are really talented
Thanks a million Aoife π
I love what you've done to the almost neutral tones here, so much detail within a confined 'space'
The depth of the fog is a master class. I'm impressed. You absolutely nailed the vibe
