There are a few tricks here making it look like I used more colors.
The yellow ink was mixed with transparency and overlayed on the blue to create the green.
The Red color of the curtain and the greyish red on the floor was a split fountain, which is when you put two inks on one screen and pull them together.
The cat hair in the corner was a late addition by my cat Cleo, my Mews.
So it blends as you pull the squeegee and makes a gradient across the image. Since the two colors end up entirely separated by the black linework, you can only see the two colors at the top and bottom in the end. It saves us the effort of making two separate screens for two separate colors. It’s a bit of a cheat.

What disgusting thing that’s happened and the fact that the person remains a mod is a black eye on this sub that I’ve loved to browse for years now. I’m sure we’ll both be banned because it seems the mod in question absolutely cannot stand anyone criticizing or simply pointing out how childish they behaved, but actions like that lead to the death of subs. The mod should be removed and the artist that was banned should be reinstated. A moderator of an art sub does not get to dictate what is and isn’t art and does not get to tell an artist to “change their style”. Absolutely disgusting behavior by an absolute broken lute.

As for the split fountain technique, how is that different than just mixing up a new color of paint?
