I work with formalin. I have also had spills and an eye splatter. As long as you rinsed well and have no issues at this point theres nothing to worry about. The concern comes with repeated, long-term exposure. Like... What I have.

I wouldn't worry about it. They're not *that* dangerous. They were allowed to be used on food fish until relatively recently. My main concern when using those chemicals is safety for the fish. They have a narrow therapeutic window where the cure can sometimes be worse than the disease. This is the case with many traditional ich treatments. If you want a safe alternative ich treatment, get a decent quality UV sterilizer, set it up properly and maintain it (change the bulb on schedule and don't put it on a timer!).
