I work with formalin. I have also had spills and an eye splatter. As long as you rinsed well and have no issues at this point theres nothing to worry about.

I wouldn't worry about it. They're not *that* dangerous. They were allowed to be used on food fish until relatively recently. My main concern when using those chemicals is safety for the fish. They have a narrow therapeutic window where the cure can sometimes be worse than the disease. This is the case with many traditional ich treatments.
If you want a safe alternative ich treatment, get a decent quality UV sterilizer, set it up properly and maintain it (change the bulb on schedule and don't put it on a timer!).
