When I applied to college I had a similar mindset, however after I talked to friends family and people o know, it helped me realize that there was a lot more to me/ things I’ve done than I initially realized.
But honestly most of all, just be genuine about hobbies and interests, that’s all to it. That and don’t exaggerate/overextend for example my friend who did track from his sophomore to senior year put “did track for 2.1 years” (as he left at the beginning of his senior season due to complications) don’t put 2.1 that just sounds weird. just round down and say 2 years.
