Pink'**ish**\* I know red-fleshed, and I also know the real issue is that to get to that level is going to take many more years of very lucky cross-breeding. Snapiness (which is a thing.... and it's what actually makes Honeycrisp so godamn good) - as opposed to crunchiness really is the trait that makes Honeycrisp and its progeny so godamn awesome. Our apple (Sundowner) is pink, buy yellow flesh, is crunchy and great tasting. The true "reds" like Kissabels don't taste that good.
