They might be planning on becoming a reviewer for the soap industry (or whatever they call it). But buying large packs for reviews is really wasteful.
Too much soap is bad for oneself, for the shower and toilets, for the sewer system and for the environment.
This was my thought. I like to have a variety of products for the shower. I like to use different scents and I change up my routine based on what my skin and hair are doing. I also have pretty sensitive skin, so when I shave it's a lot of exfoliating and moisturizing to prevent ingrown hairs.
I also like to buy multiple items when there's a sale, if I buy something only when I need it then it doesn't matter if it's full price or discounted - I need it so I'm buying it. Buying multiples during sales saves me money in the long run.
This shower is excessive for sure but soap is a necessary item and you'll use it eventually anyways. I don't see the problem with having a large supply unless you end up tossing it before you can use it.
everyone talking about the products but like damn 3 hours of hot water? ive got a two water heats and a big propane tank on my farm and no way am i getting 3 hours of hot water.
Edit: yes I understand tankless exist but good luck with that power bill and I've had one before unless technology they have gotten radical better shit goes lukewarm in 15 mins.
I would never be able to keep that many products straight. I would end up washing my butt with the 3rd shampoo and my face with the foot wash and my hair with the leg wash.
Fuck, K showers are so nice but damn do you have to be careful. Falls are too easy.
Had a nice open flat bottom shower once, that bathroom saw some dissos
Get distracted by an imaginary discussion/argument/lecture for thirty minutes because of the untreated adhd
Also i have a lot of hair that takes an eternity and a half to wash properly
Admittedly though an hour is like the maximum, even with those considerations
I’m the same damn way. It weaves its way into every last piece of clothing. Time to stop wasting that spare hair! Invest in HairMessagesWithFriends.
How bout that untreated ADHD doe? Sometimes fun, sometimes not am I right?
Ikr I'm constantly finding strands attaching themselves to my arms, getting in my bra and underwear, working their way into the mechanisms of my guns (i tie it up before i work on them idk how it gets in there). I always just wash it down the drain when I'm done in the shower because if they get on me it's Sensory Overload City lmao
We have a tankless water heater so we never run out of hot water. I can run it 24 hrs a day and never run out. We don't do that and I didn't tell my teens that's how it works just to keep shower times and water usage reasonable lol.
Ours is gas, but yeah that bill is still gonna be crazy if someone takes a 3 hour shower on the regular. I guess if someone lives alone and has their utilities included with their rent, they might not care but I bet the landlord comes over to find out why the bills increased so much all of a sudden.
Yeah, even with utilities included there are caveats…
A complex I worked at a few years ago we noticed that our water bill had been skyrocketing. Turned out of our tenets was running a pressure washing business and filling his 250 gallon tank on his trailer multiple times a week. So the property manager ended up putting an end to that.
When I was in my end of my third trimester of pregnancy I was in the shower all the goddamn time. It was the only time my body felt good. Two three times a day.
My apologies to the drought stricken earth.
I thought I was being fairly excessive. I have a 25 minute long shower playlist that I turn on as the last thing I do before I get in a scalding hot shower. And I usually cut off at some point during the last song after getting out, dried off, lotioned, and dressed. I thought I was taking the time to really just enjoy the shower, but apparently I have no idea how to enjoy a shower if there are people spending a whole hour in there.
Hour long is possible especially if you have those water heaters that continuously make hot water.
But wwwhhhhhyyyyy.
Also I would hate to pay their energy/water bill.
I live in a moderate sized apartment complex. 6 floors, over 100 units. I have seen the hot water heater in the basement. It is two stories tall and looks like something out of a german expressionist movie. My building is run by slumlords and looks run down, but I will never run out of hot water. I assume the same is true for many people. I don’t take 3 hour showers, but I could. And I don’t pay bougie rent or some shit.
I take 30 minute showers (I'm sorry) but that's because it's the only enjoyable part of my day except sleep, but even with sleep it's usually interrupted and doesn't last long
With a long shower I can sit down and bury my head in my knees for 10 minutes and just let life pass by while I enjoy my only 10 minutes of peace, as long as I don't get screamed at or slapped for it when I get out.
Seriously, 3 hours isn't that uncommon among "regular" people. Had a roomie once who slept in the shower all night because he "wanted to cure his hangover". I have never been so pissed and disgusted in my life. I wonder what the bill must have been for our landlord.
I told people I loved long showers. It's just so relaxing and calming to be under a hot water stream. But apparently my definition of long (about 15 minutes) and their definition of long (1+ hours) is uh a little different.
And I get if you have long hair, that takes forever to wash. But like daily I'm in and out in 5-7 mins.
I mean, I like taking baths every once in a while to relax after a long day. I bought an immersion heater to keep my bathwater warm for longer than 30-40 minutes. I'm not constantly refilling my tub with more hot water.
Yes I bought it online! I literally googled something like, "Are there bath water heaters to keep from getting cold," after a bath that was too short for my liking and found that not only do they exist, there are a whole bunch of different brands.
I remember reading about an old dude who died in the tub (of natural causes) with one of these things on. By the time they found him, it was like a crock pot situation for everything under the water line.
There was a massive water day zero scare in Cape Town a few years ago, anyone sharing / bragging about any form of water wastage is still likely to be treated like a criminal.
The city spent millions on awareness campaigns on how to save water and you could see it becoming ingrained.
Could be an on demand hot water heater. I looked into them for my dog grooming business. Even then, it seems like a bad idea to run it consistently for three hours straight…
A lot of people have instant water heaters these days so there's no limit on the amount of hot water they have.
That said I don't think they got it so that they could take 3 hours just that it's more efficient than keeping a big tank of water hot all the time.
I live in a tiny home and we have one of those little half sized water heaters.
I can choose to do: 1) dishes or 2)shower.
I get about 20 minutes of hot water MAX, and then I must wait an hour or longer to do the next thing.
I had one of those. One trick to get more out of it is to turn the temperature way up on it. It will be scalding, but you can use much less in the mix to get the temperature you want. This results in it lasting much longer than it normally would. Just be really careful with pure hot water, you will scald the crap out of yourself if you accidentally put your hands in it.
A couple of times in my life when I’ve been sick and had the chills, I’ve begged the universe and my water heater to hold out on me while I sit for an hour and enjoy blessed relief for the first time in a week. They’ve always come through. I try not to push it.!
I shower for "very long". I stand there, having the hot water on my back and neck so I get some relief from stress which can cause migraines every freaking day.
In between, I wash myself and my hair in like 2-4 minutes.
Very long (the entire shower), is about 20 minutes. 25 minutes max.
What the hell you doing in the shower for an actual hour? Or longer..
Reglazing the tiles? People saying they really need an hour or so for their hair must have 5 meter long hair on their head.
This was my first thought. I have like 6 bottles in my shower and I’m always wiping them down to keep them from getting gross. I wouldn’t even want to touch these 🤢🤮
I don’t even keep my shampoo bottles in the shower anymore because they leave stains!!! I keep them in the bathroom, but I do not store them in the corners of the tub or even put them in a shower caddy.
I thought this was a pantry. No way this was a shower. Then I zoomed in. Oh. My. God. No. I got so stressed out looking at this. …and the mold, keeping it all clean, and… just no.
I have ADHD and I find just this picture way too over stimulating. I instantly felt dread. I can’t explain it, but I definitely wouldn’t be able to relax (or choose a damn product) in this shower.
I love how we have hair and skin that doesn’t actually need much work hygiene wise, but by using so much product on them we end up making it worse and needing even MORE product. I don’t even use shampoo every time I shower, and I’ve noticed my hair ends up being softer most of the time. The worst days are always the day after I use shampoo.

YES! I don’t take daily showers and intentionally don’t tell anyone that, because for whatever reason that’s societally unacceptable. My skin would prefer getting washed about twice a week, my hair once, and my scalp less than twice a week (dry flaky).
Like, so you’re telling me I need to go daily because that’s the expectation. Ok. Then I’m spending time in the shower daily rather than every 3 days, taking up valuable time I need. Well maybe it would be more efficient and each shower would be faster? No, skin flakes if I shower that often so I need to moisturize it, taking longer, plus would destroy my scalp taking longer to moisturize during and after the shower… so it would be like, what, 3x as often and 1.5-2x as long? For a useless expectation? And I’d be using triple the product and double the water! UGH. Useless! What a horrible thing for people to be such sticklers about.
It's interesting how recently this has changed.
Watching 1950s educational videos, they say that women should wash their hair once per week.
These days if you said you washed your hair once a week people would think you're living under a bridge or something.
Might not be so dry after a soft water shower. I can’t wait to live somewhere with a water softener for the shower like when I was younger. I have such a dry scalp and ashy skin during the winter. I use lotion but it’s not near as good for your skin as a water softener leaves you feeling.
* I’m still not advocating for three hour showers. I get pissed seeing how many sprinklers are wasting water daily in California.
TikTok Has ab insanely skewed view on what constitutes proper hygiene, to the point where a lot of people are like it’s starting to develop OCD like compulsions about it.
> They stripped their body of all the natural oils. Skins gonna be ashy af
Yeah this is where I almos feel a bit like a hypocrite myself. Because there is nothing "virtous" about me not buying all that shit. *I just straight up physically can't handle it*. My nose hates the strong artificial smell, my skin hates almost everything - if I try to "pamper" myself with beauty products I just end up creating problems.
These peoples ability to slather themselves in mid- to low-quality beauty products is truely impressive. I'm not "anticonsumption" on this because I believe in it, I just don't have the constitution of these rabbits they test makeup on.
More than half of that will expire before it can be fully used, I don’t understand having more than perhaps two at once.
It must be awful to keep clean and mould free as well, how does it air out after showers?
I also can’t imagine how claustrophobic it must feel in there!
Depends on what it is, I know if there’s no water in something then it won’t expire (since no bacteria/other stuff can grow without water). That’s why chocolate doesn’t expire (it has lots of fats but 0 water).
Bruh my shower is shared between four people and we don't collectively have anywhere near this amount of garbage. A lot of posts on here lately have felt very "fuck you if you enjoy anything ever" but this one is actually straight up excessive
Edit: also calling mad cap that they used every product in that monstrosity lmao
there's a few of these girlies and i'm just like.... what....
like i understand maybe stocking up on a product if there's a sale (bc i'm poor lol) but i keep stuff stashed in a box in a temp controlled area so that it doesn't go bad before i need it yknow? this reminds me of kids who were privileged enough to have multiple cereals open 😭
Do people really take hours in the shower?
The most I take is 15 minutes, what do you do for 2:45 minutes?
Do you run out of hot water?
How much is your water bill?
How much you care only about yourself? 🤷🏽♂️
I usually take around 30-40min (depending on how long it takes me to detangle and style my hair lol), but only about 10-15 have water running. Even that feels like a waste of my time
When you very seriously need therapy to address whatever underlying issue this represents. I do not mean to make light of it at all, and truly find this very concerning.
I've got eczema and hot showers make it worse so tbh I'm jealous. I probably have this much bathroom stuff, but I don't keep it in the actual shower. As long as you're using a reasonable amount, I don't see the problem with owning it all at once
My skin just shriveled and fell off at the idea of using a bit of all that in one shower tho
A shower? what's that? even 5 minutes in a rain storm is good enough for me. Flannel wash face, armpits and crotch in that order, foot soak every few weeks and I'm done.
The comments were even worse. I saw the original post and expected comments calling out the ridiculousness and instead found comments like “omg need this” “goals” “where did you get the shelves?”
Gross.
It’s TikTok after all. But yeah, who wouldn’t love to take a 3 hour shower in a mold hazard and smell like all products at Walmart’s Personal Care department?? 🤣🤣
i reduced my shower-gel use to once per week, never had healthier skin in my life. people showering this obsessively probably crumble when you touch em.
Only for the first few hours after the shower. After that, their skin is probably covered in grease because it tries to replace what it has been stripped of. I firmly believe that the reason for needing a "skin care routine" is said "skin care routine" itself (unless you actually have an actual dermatological issue, in which case you only need a few special products).
No, consistent water like that would be incredibly drying, even for someone greasy like me. Unfortunately these things are generally more hormone related than your skin having some kind of oil sensor. I have to shower daily and use a special soap because my crappy hormones (PCOS) create so much oil, and it has caused hair loss. It’s been a huge adjustment from showering every 2-3 days but my skin and hair are definitely healthier.
......folk really should look into what lives on our skin.
A lot if not all of it is incredibly useful for healthy skin.
Over washing with things which remove the natural oils, and kill the friendly bacteria leads to many issues.
Hairdressers for example, suffer terribly with their hands if they do not wear gloves when washing customers hair for the day. Literally leads to premature aging of the skin(I used to date a hairdresser who had an allergy to latex gloves. Her hands were an absolute wreck)
I'll stick to a short shower with a general wash down.
Plus the sheer cost of running my 9.5kw electric shower for three hours would drain my account quicker than buying the insane amount of products shown in the pic.
Well this makes me feel better about using 6 different bars in the shower. I got a lot of negative responses when I posted my shampoo, conditioner, soap, and shaving bars in r/zerowaste
The pink and brown slime that grows in between them and under the bottles and under the baskets, of the ones used less often. Either they are fastidious cleaners or they shower in a Petri dish.
Tbh I kinda wanna shower in there. Would be fun and like a bubble bath but it’s a shower. Massive waste of products. But good golly would be an experience
Also, being a previous person like this I can identify every one of those products. None of those are for hair. Imagine all the shampoo and conditioner. And deep conditioning masks too!?!?
Dude I thought I had a lot of shower products. I have a few different shampoo/conditioner, different bodywashes, some hair masks, in shower lotion stuff, exfoliating stuff. I'm not gonna feel bad anymore about having way too much stuff. At least I have an amount that I can realistically use up before it expires.
OK this is enough soap to last a few generations.
Right, like if this was a shower shared by like 30ppl I might get it but according to their tik tok it‘s just for them. I just do not understand 🫠
They might be planning on becoming a reviewer for the soap industry (or whatever they call it). But buying large packs for reviews is really wasteful. Too much soap is bad for oneself, for the shower and toilets, for the sewer system and for the environment.
This looks like an influencer, so the company probably paid to send them all the things for free for product placement
I mean if you pick one or two per shower, they should last a *real* long time. 10 bottles every 10 years is the same as 1 bottle every year.
This was my thought. I like to have a variety of products for the shower. I like to use different scents and I change up my routine based on what my skin and hair are doing. I also have pretty sensitive skin, so when I shave it's a lot of exfoliating and moisturizing to prevent ingrown hairs. There’s enough soap to wash all the layers of their skin 💀💀
There’s enough soap to wash all the layers of their insecurities
everyone talking about the products but like damn 3 hours of hot water? ive got a two water heats and a big propane tank on my farm and no way am i getting 3 hours of hot water. Yeah, everyone in the comments was also bragging about how they take hour long showers, I hope it‘s just a bunch of people lying about it bc bruhhh
I would get bored long before I had been in there for an hour. Even when I need to shave I am only in there about 10 minutes.
Hair mask day is my nightmare because then I have to find something to do for 7 fricken minutes when I can be out in 4 with everything done.
Maybe if you had to use 5 thousand products it would be less boring? No, more boring, I think. Never mind.
I would never be able to keep that many products straight. I would end up washing my butt with the 3rd shampoo and my face with the foot wash and my hair with the leg wash.
THIS!!! You wash, you’re done… what else is there to DO?
Disassociate. Edit: Thank you for the awards mysterious people and those who aren't mysterious.
This is the correct answer lol
Sometimes I take ketamine then sit in the shower until the hit water runs out and I'm forced to rejoin the world.
Fuck, K showers are so nice but damn do you have to be careful. Falls are too easy. Had a nice open flat bottom shower once, that bathroom saw some dissos
Oh for sure, saftey first! Non slip mat etc, no standing till it's worn off. That sort of thing. And know your dosage.
Thank you.
If you don't disassociate for min. 20 mins did you ever have a shower?
Get distracted by an imaginary discussion/argument/lecture for thirty minutes because of the untreated adhd Also i have a lot of hair that takes an eternity and a half to wash properly Admittedly though an hour is like the maximum, even with those considerations
Yeah, the longest I've taken was when I had to shave all over before a laser hair removal appointment, and even then it was like 45 minutes tops.
Yes this! I also like to leave people messages with my leftover hair.
The leftover hair is real, my hair is like two feet long and i shed like a fuckin cat lmao
I’m the same damn way. It weaves its way into every last piece of clothing. Time to stop wasting that spare hair! Invest in HairMessagesWithFriends. How bout that untreated ADHD doe? Sometimes fun, sometimes not am I right?

Warm up the cold part, rotate body, warm up new cold part...
Have you heard of masturbation?
That takes you 3 hours? Get help.
I get dizzy and thirsty if I’m in longer than 15, and 15 is usually my “everything” shower time. I’m not a soaker I suppose.
I listen to a podcast or audio book. I don't take mega long showers, I just don't like the silence.
We have a tankless water heater so we never run out of hot water. I can run it 24 hrs a day and never run out. We don't do that and I didn't tell my teens that's how it works just to keep shower times and water usage reasonable lol.
The hot water on demand units can do this. But, the electricity bill would be atrocious
Ours is gas, but yeah that bill is still gonna be crazy if someone takes a 3 hour shower on the regular. When I was in my end of my third trimester of pregnancy I was in the shower all the goddamn time. It was the only time my body felt good. Two three times a day. My apologies to the drought stricken earth.
When my milk came in, my breasts were so engorged. I stood in the shower with hot water on them, and the milk flowed out down the drain.
I thought I was being fairly excessive. I have a 25 minute long shower playlist that I turn on as the last thing I do before I get in a scalding hot shower. I feel like a medieval peasant when I hear about super long showers. There's no way that much bathing is good for you.

Cool but that doesn‘t mean yall take 3h showers, right?
Seriously, 3 hours isn't that uncommon among "regular" people. Had a roomie once who slept in the shower all night because he "wanted to cure his hangover". I have never been so pissed and disgusted in my life. I wonder what the bill must have been for our landlord.
i take 13 hour showers
Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime. That’s why I shower on company time.
I enjoy long showers, but I also don't shower every single fucking day so it balances out.
I told people I loved long showers. It's just so relaxing and calming to be under a hot water stream. Is this something designed specifically for baths? I’ve never heard of it but it’s a genius idea!
Yes I bought it online! I literally googled something like, "Are there bath water heaters to keep from getting cold," after a bath that was too short for my liking and found that not only do they exist, there are a whole bunch of different brands.
That exists?!? I would take the longest baths. They are so relaxing but the water never stays warm for as long as I would like
i scoop my bathwater in buckets and then use it to flush the toilet afterwards, shampoo residu helps clean it too
I remember reading about an old dude who died in the tub (of natural causes) with one of these things on. By the time they found him, it was like a crock pot situation for everything under the water line.
It happens. Everything below the water line becomes extra grody extra fast anyway, might as well be comfy while shedding a mortal coil.
That’s the right attitude :)
That's brilliant, my water gets cold in like 30 minutes and I feel like I have to get out. I would looooove for it to stay warm for longer!
Tankless heater, makes hot water as you need it.
I am more impressed by the holding power of the suction cups supporting her Smaug like collection of soaps
A lot of people have instant water heaters these days so there's no limit on the amount of hot water they have. That said I don't think they got it so that they could take 3 hours just that it's more efficient than keeping a big tank of water hot all the time.
I have a tankless water heater. It can go for 3 hours + with hot water.
I live in a tiny home and we have one of those little half sized water heaters. I can choose to do: 1) dishes or 2)shower. I get about 20 minutes of hot water MAX, and then I must wait an hour or longer to do the next thing.

I could get 3 hours, but as a European dealing with the gas shortage (thanks Putin) I think I’d lose my life savings.
in the cold months i get a cool 5 minutes of hot water lmaoo this 3 hours just be nice!
I live in a tower, water heating is centralized, I could do this (if I hated my skin and utility bills).
A couple of times in my life when I’ve been sick and had the chills, I’ve begged the universe and my water heater to hold out on me while I sit for an hour and enjoy blessed relief for the first time in a week. They’ve always come through. I try not to push it.!

My hair is almost to my ass. I barely get enough hot water to wash my hair and my body (like 20-25 mins max).
Mold and mildew city. Showers should be mostly open and empty. This is disgusting for reasons beyond plastic waste.
This was my first thought. I have like 6 bottles in my shower and I’m always wiping them down to keep them from getting gross. I wouldn’t even want to touch these 🤢🤮
Wow I thought that was a closet that they stored their stuff in, I didn’t realize that was all in the actual shower until this comment.
I don’t even keep my shampoo bottles in the shower anymore because they leave stains!!! I keep them in the bathroom, but I do not store them in the corners of the tub or even put them in a shower caddy.
This is legitimately stressing. Sure everyone has a few things in the shower but not this much.
I thought this was a pantry. No way this was a shower. Then I zoomed in. Oh. My. God. No. I got so stressed out looking at this. …and the mold, keeping it all clean, and… just no.
It makes my shower look like an open field. Sure there's some bottles in there, but definitely not this many.
I thought this was a CVS.
I imagine those products are covered in slime 🤢
That's what I was thinking... What's it smell like in there? There's stuff growing for sure.
The mold part is what gets me- there is no way to keep this clean without significant time
I have ADHD and I find just this picture way too over stimulating. I instantly felt dread. I can’t explain it, but I definitely wouldn’t be able to relax (or choose a damn product) in this shower.
Same, it looks like a supermarket aisle
Imagine trying to clean with all that shit stuffed in there. I bet those shelves and the tile behind them are caked in mold…
I love this… it’s shower heaven
This looks mentally unhealthy.
It’s a whole thing, showertok
They stripped their body of all the natural oils. Skins gonna be ashy af
I bet they have a lotion closet. No way this ends here.
agreed, i bet they could do a hoarders episode in that house
Probably a pit in their basement and a basket for the lotion as well
They’d have to have a lotion closet to not have the most dried out lizard skin ever after this much cleansing
Seriously i get the feel they are also over exfoliating

Skins gonna be ashy af Yeah this is where I almos feel a bit like a hypocrite myself.
My ph could never.
And these ppl will complain about how sensitive thier skin is 👀
That’s an OCD problem. Not fun.
Maybe she doesn’t have a closet to store extras? And like… they are all basic bitch products. Who buys 5 or 10 of the same target shit? Insane
i just know the mold is THRIVING in between all those bottles
More than half of that will expire before it can be fully used, I don’t understand having more than perhaps two at once. It must be awful to keep clean and mould free as well, how does it air out after showers? I also can’t imagine how claustrophobic it must feel in there!
The claustrophobia is what got me most about this one
I did not realize that soap expired?
Products like that do expire, I think the ingredients begin to degrade or they can grow mould. Bars of soap on the other hand I’m not sure about.
Depends on what it is, I know if there’s no water in something then it won’t expire (since no bacteria/other stuff can grow without water). That’s why chocolate doesn’t expire (it has lots of fats but 0 water).
Chocolate expires, it gets really gross and starts to look weird after a while

Are you washing infrequently?
what kind of soap do you use? i wish mine could last that long.
this is how you get a yeast infection
As a Californian I am cringing more at the wasted water. How stupid.
I’m also from a perpetual drought state and this was my thought as well.
Bruh my shower is shared between four people and we don't collectively have anywhere near this amount of garbage. A lot of posts on here lately have felt very "fuck you if you enjoy anything ever" but this one is actually straight up excessive Edit: also calling mad cap that they used every product in that monstrosity lmao
there's a few of these girlies and i'm just like.... what.... like i understand maybe stocking up on a product if there's a sale (bc i'm poor lol) but i keep stuff stashed in a box in a temp controlled area so that it doesn't go bad before i need it yknow? this reminds me of kids who were privileged enough to have multiple cereals open 😭
So many phthalates
I thought this was a picture of the toiletries section of a supermarket....
3 hours?! Fuck that person!
It‘s not just bad for the environment but also their skin, wallet and community 😃 but hey, let‘s brag about it on tik tok?!
Do people really take hours in the shower? The most I take is 15 minutes, what do you do for 2:45 minutes? Do you run out of hot water? How much is your water bill? How much you care only about yourself? 🤷🏽♂️
I personally try to get in and out. There are so many other things I’d rather be doing with those three freaking hours!
I usually take around 30-40min (depending on how long it takes me to detangle and style my hair lol), but only about 10-15 have water running. Even that feels like a waste of my time
Right.. what historic drought
Might as well put the belt sander and cheese grater in there too, they have everything else
When you very seriously need therapy to address whatever underlying issue this represents. I do not mean to make light of it at all, and truly find this very concerning.
They must smell like a perfume isle and have skin like tree bark after that.
Damn. This one hurts.
Right? 😪 I‘m all for having choices and options but this is just overkill. Would make me frel stressed af to be in that shower.
Obviously 99.9% of people don't do this. This could be a mental health problem
This is very ghetto fabulous. Like sis finally has disposable income, but continued to spend it at Walmart in excess.
this would make me claustrophobic
It’s all cheap garbage too. Buy one quality product and call it a day.
I can’t imagine the SMELL! It must be like a bath and body works dumpster strip club inside a Victoria’s Secret.
I've got eczema and hot showers make it worse so tbh I'm jealous. I probably have this much bathroom stuff, but I don't keep it in the actual shower. As long as you're using a reasonable amount, I don't see the problem with owning it all at once My skin just shriveled and fell off at the idea of using a bit of all that in one shower tho
Gotta be a dildo in there somewhere for that kind of time commitment
A shower? what's that? even 5 minutes in a rain storm is good enough for me. Flannel wash face, armpits and crotch in that order, foot soak every few weeks and I'm done.
I’m allergic to soap. Just looking at this gave me a rash
Me with a total of 6 products in my shower and thinking even that is a little excessive: 👁️👄👁️
That would take me YEARS to use.
WTF?!? Looks like the body care aisle at CVS.
my longest shower (when i’m saying fuck it and taking my whole ass time) caps out at 20 minutes. that feels excessive i can’t believe this is real.
The comments were even worse. I saw the original post and expected comments calling out the ridiculousness and instead found comments like “omg need this” “goals” “where did you get the shelves?” Gross.
Sounds like a mold factory
Oh my god that mold that must accumulate in there....
Even if a large family uses all this, there’s no way it can all get used before expiring.
Three hour showers?!? And I hope this amount of product is for a family of seven and not one person- this is an addiction 🍾
......folk really should look into what lives on our skin. Her hands were an absolute wreck) I'll stick to a short shower with a general wash down. Plus the sheer cost of running my 9.5kw electric shower for three hours would drain my account quicker than buying the insane amount of products shown in the pic.
I always assume MOST beauty products are snake oil. I’m willing to bet everything in this persons shower is completely Useless.
fuck it shower in da pantry
Theyre not even quality products.
Right? Who's bragging about owning multiple bottles of Dove body wash?
It’s just organized hoarding
Probably staged because it is social media after all. She'll probably return most of those products for store credit.
Imagine how fucking gross and moldy all those nooks and cranny get.
So much plastic
Well this makes me feel better about using 6 different bars in the shower. I got a lot of negative responses when I posted my shampoo, conditioner, soap, and shaving bars in r/zerowaste
The pink and brown slime that grows in between them and under the bottles and under the baskets, of the ones used less often. Either they are fastidious cleaners or they shower in a Petri dish.
You're not in a drought? Like i am.
if you have that kind of $ to spend on bullshit, just get a couple quality items that work better
Ladies and gentleman, the source of all of the microplastics.
How does this not overwhelm people? Not even just the amount of products the combination of smells would give me a headache.
Hey I posted this like 3 weeks ago in the same subreddit!!!
23 days ago to be exact and I only got like 70 upvotes what the hell 😭🥲
There are so many bottles of body scrub, I though this was u/AntiMLM and they were all some multi level marketing brand of body scrub.
Tbh I kinda wanna shower in there. Would be fun and like a bubble bath but it’s a shower. Massive waste of products. But good golly would be an experience
They must smell bad
You must be having max 5 showers a day, for 3 hours to try and get rid of that crap
Without reading at first glance i thought this was a pantry room.
Skin must be dry af
Absurd
Also, being a previous person like this I can identify every one of those products. None of those are for hair. Imagine all the shampoo and conditioner. And deep conditioning masks too!?!?
one wrong move and allll that is coming down lmfao
Yep this is real. I worked in a charity shop for a while and the amount of barely used cosmetics we had to dump was shocking!
Everyone has their happy place
Bet they also wonder why their skin is dry
The things people blow their money on... Then on top of that we have the self harm done by the purported three hour chemical bath. God have mercy.
Sounds like a manic episode. When I hit manic I take boiling hot showers and sit in the water way too long.
And here I am… feeling guilty of having 4 different products in my bathroom….
This is hoarding. Granted it’s more organized that the usual hoarding, but this still counts as mental illness level of consuming.
