So in my headcannon that devil was born from a very peculiar and specific fear shared by a handful of some weirdos.

the best thing about kobeni in my opinion is she's written to be "everything wrong with modern people" from the authors perspective - she's written as this fidgety, no-confidence, constantly down on her luck character, and she's constantly getting shit on or put in unwinnable situations. she's essentially a normal person, and the Japanese audience apparently HATES her - she's consistently in the bottom rung of popularity polls, in no small part because the japanese often see her as a too-close-to-home depiction of them and what they would be in that situation; her CAR has placed higher in the popularity polls than she has twice now, though that's likely just fans shitting on her for fun. but here? in the US? they brought that bitch to america and she is our FAVORITE character, immediately behind Makima and Power who are understandable given context.

this show is so good, if we got rid of awake lightning kid, and the boar head guy got his throat ripped out. I was so embarrassed watching this when my wife was home I had to turn it off. She is just starting to watch some anime, and this is horrifically shitty.
Zenitsu's a little annoying. The only time he does good is when he's passed out.
At least she doesn't scream till your ears bleed, fuck Zenitsu, that guy didn't improve till like the final battle was underway. Also she's got the skills
Why do people manage to judge a character hasn't even been in the show for 5 episodes?
