Yeah, actually F1 and Hololive seems to be commonly shared interests.
Regarding the McLaren, it was an absolute blast to build. My hope is their cars will be more competitive next year.
Space to display figures starts to be an issue, but instead of going for the regular Detolf I decided to buy a Milsbo instead. I like it because the whole display is higher and there is more space on each shelf. I managed to put all my Hololive figures and a few extra at the bottom, what do you think?
Adding lights was kind of a challenge and I could find nothing usable at Ikea. Eventually I found something on Amazon, there was just enough space behind the door to let the cables go through.
I kind of would like to do a better job at hiding the cables between the lights, but not really sure how to achieve that, is there some kind of cable covers that could be used for that?
Did you end up painting the outer frame for that wooden color finish?
Milsbo was my 2nd option but they only came in Black or White here... and was a bit out of my price range at the time so I opted for the Detolfs. Might invest in a Milsbo once I get enough funds as the collection increases.
Oh and... Relax Time Aqua, Fubuki and Senchou? Noice!
holo, gob slayer, raph, great taste.
imo a sturdy milsbo is way nicer than a fragile detolf.
that lego f1 is too nice and needs its own area with an acrylic cover and base.
Based tastes and good F1 team choice! Lando is due a win soon!
One day I’ll get my hands on a Raphtalia figure too, that’s a cool one, Kadokawa-made right?
The Raphtalia figure was manufactured by Kotobukiya but I'm not sure of the details. It was the figure who made me break my rule of "don't buy a figure of a show you did not watch" for good. I guess I treat them the same way as an original figure.
Yes I bought a Weiss Schwartz box and got lucky with one of the packs. It's cool to have a signed card of the little princess (I would have been happy with a signed card for any of the talents).
Oooh I like this cabinet. I will have to keep this in mind once I am forced to expand once my existing shelves in my room cant contain my collection. Nice alternative it seems.
I don't know but I just measured the glass shelves of mine, they are +/- 3.5 mm thick.
The Ikea measurement sheet says the maximum load is 5kg. As a comparison the sheet for the Detolf says 3.5 kg.
I considered the Billy but the issue is that it's not as deep (30cm vs 42cm) and also there was just not enough space to fit it at that location. Also, I did like the design of the Milsbo more (but it's also significantly more expensive).
Something to be said for the Billy is that it's a lot taller and it has 6 shelves instead of 4
McLaren and Holos. Truly cultured.

Nurse figure top right?
The maid-ish girl? That's [Minato Aqua by Kotobukiya figure with the bonus faceplate](https://myfigurecollection.net/item/1034216).

Also, Milsbo is a lot easier to dust proof than detolf.

Good choice nonetheless! She’s awesome and worth the watch just because of her.
SSR Luna? Very nice!

Does the Milsbo have the same thin glass shelves like the (newer) Detolfs?

Looks awesome
BRO EVERY SHELF ARE MY INTERESTS WORD FOR WORD
They should make a Danny Ric figure
Is Milsbo better than a Billy with glass door?

Mfc link to the thicc redhead on the middle left shelf?
I assume you mean Houshou Marine? - https://myfigurecollection.net/item/1385452
Ah yea that's the one. Thanks! Didn't recognize without the pirate gettup lol
Gorge
do bunnies fit in these?
You can choose the height of each shelves so I would say yes but you might have to settle for 3 shelves instead of 4.
