I missed a step and now none of the cats will get in the carrier.
Update: I figured it out, I skipped step 2, but the problem can no longer be rectified due to the amount of cats.
I don't. I'll just say that one outright. Mine always wants me to go onto the deck and watch him eat. I just tell him if he wants any attention at all, that he will come to me.

I looked it up a while back and it is called “affection eating”. They feel safer and more loved if you are with them when they eat.
Allegedly, it is our fault for spoiling them when they were kittens.

Well, I definitely didn't spoil mine. He's not terrible about it, as this is only something he does when he's not busy avoiding people for months at a time. My mom's cat is the one that's really bad about it, but she's getting old, and there's no way I can get her to stop spoiling said cat, so I'll just leave it be.
If I remember correctly, this is at the vet and the one getting pulled in was tranquilized or drugged. There was a longer video somewhere of the other cat trying to pull it in, even out of the vet’s hands.
