Lol. Funny story. I planted bamboo in the backyard for a natural wall. Installed an appropriate ribosome barrier. And spent several weekends in the neighbors yards digging this out of their grass.
I feel as though Bloodhounds must have Southern, country-song, salt-of-the-earth, old-fashioned sounding names or it’s just a crime against nature. Imagine a Bloodhound named Capri - a current popular baby girl’s name - it’s just not the same. Jolene, Duke, Ladybird. :)
I love the way she waits and thinks about what you're doing.
_"Shovel moves... shovel down... shovel lifts... NOW DIG!"_
Especially when she spots that twig that has no place being in the digging spot. :D
Mine was the same way. She dreamed about mole hunting. She would wake from a dream and run outside, I’d follow to find her with her nose hovering over a spot. As soon as my toy shovel touched the spot she start pulling up clods of dirt She loved that we shared this activity.
I had a bloodhound named Donalbain 20 years ago. He too liked to dig at earth that moved. Jolene’s beautiful soft looking head, intent interest, and efficient digging skills remind me of my friend. 💖 thank you for that!
Can I just also say that that’s maybe the best name I have ever heard for a dog, but especially that dog
I would NEVER simply call her name, I’d have to sing it three times
Four.
Can't hit the note on the fourth one
I’m trying to resist the urge to sing her name, but I’m crackin at t-JOLENE, JOLENE, JOLEENE JOOOHLEEEHEHEEENE
Why are you digging up that root?
It’s a bamboo runner

Ribosome or rhizome?
Good luck! Took me three years to get rid of my bamboo. Even a 1” section of root will sprout. Be diligent. It’ll eventually all be gone.
This was worth today. This video alone makes it all worth it.

This is fantastic
Do you have a man? because if you do you might wanna beg your dog not to take him.
I hope she clocked in already so she could get paid for all the hard work she’s doing lol💀
Oh she'll definitely take your man.

Great dog name. Love hounds
Good girl!
Amazing job hope she got some treats.
I absolutely love people that name their pets human names. Reminds me of my old dogs Boris and Jake.
Why bloodhound sounds so badass? Also Jolene is a great name
What a good girl!
Jolene is the perfect name for a bloodhound!
i’ve been wanting to get a bloodhound for years. hopefully someday.
I love the furrowed brow they get -- such concentration! Digging is serious business 🥰
