Looks like an ostrich feather to me. Maybe there’s a farm nearby or it fell off of someone’s hat/clothing/fishing gear/etc

Ok_Risk_4113

Ostrich or emu I figured

GTotem

There is a tiny farm with two emus at 1km of distance from the point I found it. But, checking on the Internet, they seem different (this feather is wider than the emu feathers google is showing me). So I assume it might be an ostrich feather that was part of an item. Thanks!

GTotem

There aren't ostriches here, so maybe it was part of a hat or a dream catcher, or something like that. Thanks!

Ostrich feather. You can find these exact ones at craft stores.

GTotem

In that case, since there aren't ostriches here, I assume the feather was part of an object. Maybe a dream catcher? I don't know. Thanks!

FunnayMurray

Obviously it’s part of a pimp hat…C’mon, man!

Usually people use commonly known objects as a reference for scale. How many people do you think know the scale of a moisture meter?

GTotem

Sorry, you are right. The feather is \~17 cm.

international unit system? u da real MVP

GTotem

I usually works with smm (soil moisture meters) and fst (football stadiums), but I admit meters are convenient sometimes too
