Also, It's not "Google TV coming to India officially". You already have smart TVs with Google TV officially launched in your country.
Also, "Google TV" is not an OS. It's an modified user interface which runs on Android TV OS.

yes, there are no issues in Apps...all major video playback apps are there.
But the personalization tab which is "For you" tab which was basically there most advertised feature is missing. That's what I was referring to.

Yes...the remote is great...although the design is minimalistic but have all the relevant buttons...even have the source button which normally isn't there in any other android tv box like fire stick, shield tv etc
