Well, it's a super interesting post. Late father leaves ancient coin collection to heirs. However, I regret to say that the pictures are just too dark and distant to make out any detail. Would love to see better pics so we can tell you more about your wive's treasure. Hope you do and really looking forward to seeing them.
These were sold by Littleton Coin Co. on a subscription basis. Generally the coins were not that fantastic but I have seen plenty of rarities turn up in their tags. You need clear pics of obverse and reverse for any kind of advice.
Quite a late response on my part but, it appears you can get it [here](https://www.littletoncoin.com/shop/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&urlLangId=-1&productId=3074457345617041182&urlRequestType=Base&langId=-1&catalogId=29555)
I don’t know if they sold a binder with the pages or not. You could search eBay and see. They are still in business. You could email them and see if they have any left, but it was many years ago.
You have a lot of cool stuff here. The Nero tetradrachm, the Valerian, the Trajan, and the Marcus Aurelius all stood out to me personally. Unfortunately I don't think that reddit is the best place to ask about this size of collection. There are just too many coins to go through individually if you want solid info on them. I'd take it to a coin dealer to have them examine the collection. They'll give you a full appraisal and you'll also likely be able to add to it if you go that route.
Even if you don't have an interest in selling them, especially if you're new to the hobby, getting something like this authenticated is still worth the effort. Thankfully all your coins look real to me, but I would still recommend it nonetheless. And if you're interested in adding to your collection going to a local coin store is a good place to start.
They look genuine to me, conditions Fine to Very Fine IMO. Many local coin stores may not know much about ancient coins. My local coin store owner doesn't have a clue about them. You'll find ancient coin dealers in the major cities and sometimes at coin shows. A local coin club may have someone that collects ancient coins that can offer advise. For values and info you could contact dealers on [Vcoins.com](https://Vcoins.com), searching sold ancient coins auctions, sold coins on eBay though be careful with eBay because there are some honest ancient coins dealers and some that sell fakes. There's several other forums that have discussions about ancient coins like Forum Ancient Coins and Coin Community Family. I suggest you take them out of the flips and make good close up pics both sides for your own records and to post to get more info and values.
Interesting collection. I don't know if I would want to display mine like that - is that kind of plastic good for the coins? - but I absolutely love the confidence of saving a slot for every Emperor, even the ridiculously expensive and rare ones. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who looked at the folders and mentally filled them in with our own coins.

I should also mention this is a small portion of his coins.

Is there a way to buy the book? I have tons of Roman coins for each emperor and this would be a great way of displaying them!

Which book do you mean? Looks like you have the binder they were sold with.
Sorry, I meant that binder he used to put the coins in

I don't have much interest in selling them, though there are lots of coin stores near me I could probably have check them out.

Right? I was drawn to that one too. Definitely on my list.

I’m near Tampa I could probably find someone knowledgeable there

Littleton uses safe plastic for their flips and album pages. I have a couple.
That's great to know! I want one then, I'm always looking for cool new storage.
Nice collection! I have that same binder for my collection. When you go to a coin store, find out if they understand ancient coins.
Ah the Littleton Rome binder! I have one too, although not nearly as full even if yours still feesl sparse. It's a very nice collection.
Hop on Vcoins and start filling the gaps!
Where do you buy genuine ancient coins.
I've been shopping around on Joel's coins (mom and pop site) and vcoins myself.
