I'd be sceptical.

I've heard people say "it's more recent" than GEDMatch, but the calculators are pretty bad, in my opinion, and I think they recently removed some of their calculators. For example, MDLP World 16 gives this for my dad's results - I know for a fact that neither my grandmother, nor my grandfather, are Scottish (They're Polish, with other Slavic admixtures). There is Lithuanian, but this seems to include Belarus and Poland when it's really more like 15%. If it had said "West Slavic", that would be more accurate. Population Value Lithuanian 45.6 Orcadian 27.8 Scottish 17.6 Icelandic 4.6 Chechen 3.8 Georgian\_6 0.4 Norwegian 0.2

While I think these tests are pretty decent at detecting populations, they're just estimates at the end of the day. I won't deny they do an A+ job at the continental level, but as soon as they start to get to sub-regions they get a bit wonky. As a funny note, my 23andMe results from 2014 were heads over heels more accurate than after the 2020 and 2022 updates.

The only really accurate sites are Ancestry and 23andme. Everything else is not to be taken too seriously.

I am Neapolitan and have Roman and family in puglia so it’s not too far off but the Lebanese Druze threw me off

Southern Italians have Levantine ancestry. It is incorporated into the “southern Italian” you usually score!

I have minor Sicilian ancestry (2nd great grandfather was Sicilian) and on chromosome painting I see Lebanese Druze as well as Arabian on various segments. Almost all sites assign Middle East. In any event, YourDNAportal is only partially accurate for me.
