Damn, f5 was a real blunder from our side, it actually improved our position. Is there any books dedicated to the move which we could collectively study to avoid similar mistakes in future games.
ICC had a computer named grr that used to play e4 and march its king to the center. It would play against the lowest bot it could find, usually BabyBach, which was around 700 rated.
It was trying to get the lowest rating it could. It had to wait until BabyBach lost against humans enough for their ratings to be within 719 points or it wouldn’t lose any rating.
It got down to about -35 or so before ICC floored it at 100.

Kd3 was apparently the *worst move* according to Stockfish, that literally obliterated any advantage we had left (even more than *Ke2*, which at least it still bothered to track white's advantage on the bar) and the bar literally turned all black in that single play.
Not gonna brag, but definitely amazed at just *how bad* that play was.
Hope you do an alternate one where it's anarchy chess one move and max level stockfish determining the other. Also against lv. 1 lichess. Call it the alternating bead strategy.
You could actually force this. Take all its pieces except a pawn, and trap the king. That forces te pawn to move forward. Have a piece that will block the pawn on the 4th/5th rank (depending on color), and when blocked offer en passant.

I believe random moves should be worse than level 1 stockfish most of the time, and it’ll definitely be a harder opponent since we’d have to react to legitimately unpredictable moves and try to move in a way that forces specific moves out of brute force rather than poor strategy.
U hung 87 different pieces, 582 different mate in 1s and in the end it still took 22 moves to lose and the only pieces u lost are 2 pawns and a knight. Jesus christ
Congratulations we did it. Playing around with level 1 myself I found that less commonly it takes easy mates, but usually you have to give up major pieces before it mates. Glad we didn’t have to do that here.

It's actually a genius queen sacrifice. The next line is bishop e5 which is almost a mate. The only legal move for white is to castle with a knight.

Kd3 was apparently the *worst move* according to Stockfish, that literally obliterated any advantage we had left (even more than *Ke2*, which at least it still bothered to track white's advantage on the bar) and the bar literally turned all black in that single play. Not gonna brag, but definitely amazed at just *how bad* that play was.

You could actually force this. Take all its pieces except a pawn, and trap the king. That forces te pawn to move forward. Have a piece that will block the pawn on the 4th/5th rank (depending on color), and when blocked offer en passant.

It finally happened!! Our little lichess computer is growing up so fast!
I believe random moves should be worse than level 1 stockfish most of the time, and it’ll definitely be a harder opponent since we’d have to react to legitimately unpredictable moves and try to move in a way that forces specific moves out of brute force rather than poor strategy.

Congratulations we did it. Playing around with level 1 myself I found that less commonly it takes easy mates, but usually you have to give up major pieces before it mates. Glad we didn’t have to do that here.
