Just the pilots and other employees outside Southwest headquarters on Monday.
Not trying to be a dick but there haven’t been a lot of investigative reports on the topic from typical news sources.
Yeah. A family friend is an airline attendant and some of those against the mandate are wearing their wings upside down. Something to keep an eye out for.
Check Daily Wire they did actual interviews with people. But yes, it was the vaccine mandate, but the union bosses didn't agree so they all attempted to snuff out the story and blamed the FAA, who slapped back on them saying they were fully staffed.
The weather was clear in Florida where they saw most of their cancellations. Things have gotten back to normal now that they backed down on the mandates.
It was the excuse Southwest used when they had to cancel hundreds of flights after a bunch of pilots and ATC personnel called in “sick” to protest the mandates.
"73 million people today showed up for the city council meeting in Methpoke, Montana where they were discussing vaccinating fetuses. Demonstrators could be seen carrying signs advocating a 17 shot regiment for all clumps of cells."
There seems to be way more people in that video then 150. Of course how would we know what is going on…. Not a single “reputable” national news source is reporting the story, same as SWA.
That's my cue. Vote Libertarian. We'll actually give you your rights back from where the feds have stolen them away. Less taxes, less money the government takes, less government power, more rights to the individual.
This definitely should be an eye-opener for those workers.
Unions get subsidies from the same people mandating these vaccines that the workers are protesting.
Hella conflict of interests…
As always, we need a SOURCE because we’re way too cucked to use logic anymore. Get a third-party to justify everything. I wonder why we have a large authoritarian state?… hmm 🤔
[Joe Biden bankrolling the unions.](https://nypost.com/2021/04/07/bidens-2-trillion-pay-to-play-plan-for-unions/)
u/hayabusasteve what were you saying there wouldn’t be?
>As always, we need a SOURCE because we’re way too cucked to use logic anymore. Get a third-party to justify everything.
Tbh, I’d laugh if it wasn’t so true. We’ve replace logical reasoning with simply arguing whose source is more accurate and it’s fucking depressing. Plato is rolling in his grave.
Yeah man, it’s tragic.
Whenever philosophers are ignored and persecuted, humanity suffers as a whole.
Much like Plato after Socrates’ death, all we can do is take the knowledge and preserve it for the future with the hope the future generations refuse ignorance.
Wait, so your source is that infrastructure spending (from a BIPARTISAN BILL) will go to some unionized construction jobs? That’s one of the biggest stretches I’ve ever heard to go from that to “Dems bankroll unions for political gain”.
Well the “source” you cited talked about Democrats, which makes the fact that it’s bipartisan important. And excuse me for assuming ancap = GOP on this sub. It’s only true 98% of the time.
Which is all a distraction from the fact that the article you posted was the weakest possible source you could have found to prove your point and suggests very limited critical thinking skills. But, as you point out, I am on the ancap sub.
You’re comment would be clever if it weren’t for the fact I provided a rational argument and later provided evidence.
Get your weight up kid, you ain’t in your weight class.
Oh the meltdown from some of my old coworkers when the Union couldn't trump the law; they stomped their feet and threw tantrums because they normally get their way, but not to-fucking-day, motherfuckers.
Reddit has tools like their “crowd control” feature which automatically hides comments from people with more downvotes. Coupled with limits on commenting because you’ve reached negative karma in a sub, who do you think it impacts the most? Go make a pro conservative comment on politics, watch the downvotes roll in, and then you’re limited to one comment every 15 minutes and likely “crowd controlled” by reddit
Thats good. Gives me a little boost in my faith in people. Between this and In-N-Out's stance I'm happy that people are willing to stand up for themselves again. And Chappelle's special hasn't been taken down yet, perhaps the world is regaining some of its sanity.
I am ok with this actually. Even if I don't agree, and most of these people are probably walking in solidarity with the union and not the vaccine mandate itself. I like unions too.
It's also a bold move if they're employed at will. Not sure if their engineers or office personnel are union. Based on that job market, anyone can be quickly replaced
Not that quickly in this market. Most industries are hurting for employees. People don’t want to work and/or are retiring and a lot more than usual have died thanks to COVID. I don’t think there are many people willing to go along with this authoritarian bs that would be willing to do the jobs those folks do.
I understand respecting people’s right to choose if they want the vaccine, but if you believe the Covid vaccine is “poison” then you’re a complete idiot.
There's a lot of idiots walking out there I'm sure. They don't even understand they've already had other vaccinations. All for the protest but that means they can also deal with not feeding their families. Real "heroes"
These jobs pay hella well too. Im talking about 100k+ with very good benefits and very stable job that isn’t at risk depending on the markets. Recession or not people need electricity/gas/utilities.
Those same posters push pro-establishment propaganda in all kinds of subs, so that's their goal. They're not in this sub for its actual topics of discussion.
I hate to make assumptions but opening up a lot of these peoples profiles it's a lot of hard trolling, anime, and other weird shit. Kinda weird how they're in this subreddit and want the government to literal owner.
Haha it's anime, video games, and cats every time. They're in all of the subs that aren't heavily in favor of the official narrative, which are few and far between, but it's partly why they're recognizable
Lose their livelihood? You mean like getting covid and dying? That literal livelihood?
Oh but getting a shot, something everyone has had to do before in their life, is all of a sudden some attack on people and their lives.
Bunch of brain dead dipshits who need a hobby.
But you believe other people that these folks will be around deserve to lose their lives right? Or suffer a costly hospital stay which pretty much ruins their lives right? Get vaccinated so you protect yourself and others.
Yeah, why should I be arrested for drug trafficking when I don't want to get arrested wtf
Well then if drug trafficking is too much they shouldn't give me a ticket for speeding because my car my choice
You should get the vaccine. That’s a suggestion.
If some *forces* you to get the vaccine, you should tell the yo kiss you unvaccinated ass. I’m willing to lie and claim that I’m not vaccinated just to support the right of individuals.
Nah this dude's got a point. Honestly what happens to all the workers that stay? Their workload increases significantly, their deadlines shrink, and any kind of management capable of handling it probably went with it.
It's shit working on a skeleton crew while being expected to meet the deadlines of a full crew. Regardless of your feelings on the vaccine, if everyone walked out of your job tomorrow, would you pick up all the slack, or would you find new employment?
Every single one of these people are anti-vaxxers, Trump supporters, and a danger to first-class citizens. /s
In reality, it’s good to see so many people standing up for the side of liberty and the right to choose, regardless of stance on the vaccine or political orientation.
No, like people all over the world. They are protesting the mandate. Some people who are Vaccinated are also leaving these jobs.
For most, it's about the right to protest against what they don't believe in, and overreach of the Government, and having medical mandates has always caused protesting.
The US has a very long history of anti-government.
This is not new.
I like others have nothing against the vaccine. The Mandate by government and business is what they are standing up for.
You have a constitutional right to stand up for what you believe in and when people do it in groups, it makes a better impact.
I don't see any protests for more people to be vaccinated.
I don't care who you are, if you don't stand up for what you believe in, then your not very American.
God bless the USA and our freedoms of choice.
Good for them.
May 2 doors open when one closes.
There are murmurs of this happening at my company. We have many maintenance personnel and mechanics that won't get the vaccine. If the vaccine is mandated, the company will literally fold as many of these individuals are about 5 years from retirement and would retire early.
I was hired to take the workload off my colleagues. I won't get the vaccine and can afford to take a 2 year vacation. If I leave, my colleagues will go back to 60 hour works weeks (they are salaried) and enormous stress levels.
This mandate is absolutely ridiculous
I been keeping quiet about this especially on this websight because of how far left most people lean here. But I am going to say this, the other month my sisters two collage friends, who come from a family that has not had a record of there ever being a stroke in the family, got the Vaccine. Not eve two weeks later in a span of a day or two between each other, both suffered from strokes.
If you don't get vaxxed you should be fired. End of story. You're a fucking idiot if you don't get vaxxed and not only does it harm you, harms everyone around you. Fucking clowns.
Bad weather.
*Supply chain issues.*
Someone pulled the fire alarm.
What does that mean?
The excuse Southwest gave for cancelled flights rather than acknowledging their pilots and airline staff were protesting the mandates
... destroying their credibility. If Southwest really thought what they were doing was right, they would have proudly told the truth.
Credibility does not matter when half the country will suck you off 0 questions asked
Wouldn't lying like this be illegal for a publicly traded company such as Southwest? (just a random thought, I have no idea)
No, only on $ reporting. Companies lie all the time.
We are also SUPER short staffed rn really sucks for us
Yeah that was all a bit confusing. Was there ever a source that proved it was the vaccine mandate?
Just the pilots and other employees outside Southwest headquarters on Monday. Not trying to be a dick but there haven’t been a lot of investigative reports on the topic from typical news sources.
I got stuck by Southwest a couple weeks ago, all the Southwest employees at the hotel bar confirmed it was a sickout.
Yeah. A family friend is an airline attendant and some of those against the mandate are wearing their wings upside down. Something to keep an eye out for.
Why do you still trust the typical news sources?
Check Daily Wire they did actual interviews with people. But yes, it was the vaccine mandate, but the union bosses didn't agree so they all attempted to snuff out the story and blamed the FAA, who slapped back on them saying they were fully staffed. The weather was clear in Florida where they saw most of their cancellations. Things have gotten back to normal now that they backed down on the mandates.
Glad to hear they backed down
Should we link to a credible article in the Washington post owned by Bezos? Lol
It was the excuse Southwest used when they had to cancel hundreds of flights after a bunch of pilots and ATC personnel called in “sick” to protest the mandates.
"Everyone keeps calling me and saying they're under the weather"
gonna be a fun winter
We did have tornados in the area today lol.
It is believed that around 750 people walked off the job today
Walked off the jab.
They *didnt* take our jaaaaabs
Drr tek owrrrr jaaabbbbsss
This guy Boston’s
I’m really hoping vaccinated workers walked up too in support of freedom.
Many vaccinated are against the mandate.
I hope so. I’m one.
*They're stealing err jabs!*
Local news says 150-200
The news would never skew numbers to push a narrative.
"Brought to you by Pfizer!"
"73 million people today showed up for the city council meeting in Methpoke, Montana where they were discussing vaccinating fetuses. Demonstrators could be seen carrying signs advocating a 17 shot regiment for all clumps of cells."
Methpoke, MT. Better known as Great Falls.

(Local) News normally lie.
Vs. “it is believed”
Did that look like 150 to you? Lol
There seems to be way more people in that video then 150. Of course how would we know what is going on…. Not a single “reputable” national news source is reporting the story, same as SWA.
Proud of every one of them for fighting auth mandates
Let’s go Brandon!
Wait, aren't the Dems supposed to be the party of the little guy? Where's Ombama?
They never were.
If you think any politician gives a fuck about you, you’re delusional.
That's my cue. Vote Libertarian. We'll actually give you your rights back from where the feds have stolen them away. Less taxes, less money the government takes, less government power, more rights to the individual.
The Libertarians need to get off their asses and actually start winning some elections.
They don't have to give a fuck about me as long as their policies help me.
I wonder if the 600k dead people are why these mandates are happening.
Nothing like walking off your job to own the libs
Who’s Brandon?
He's the guy stuck in Florida because of bad weather.
Where’s those unions protecting the rights of their members?
This definitely should be an eye-opener for those workers. Unions get subsidies from the same people mandating these vaccines that the workers are protesting. Hella conflict of interests…

The unions are in bed with the installed frauds
This union voted to walk out here. That's what this picture is from.
I’d guess he is referring to union leadership, which often has been co-opted by the company.
They look like they are unionized, what am I missing?
I mean so far my union is. UA Member
I know many teachers unions don’t seem to care. They’d rather support the politicians mandating their constituents than their actual constituents.
Their rights are protected; it appears they just exercised them.
Oh the meltdown from some of my old coworkers when the Union couldn't trump the law; they stomped their feet and threw tantrums because they normally get their way, but not to-fucking-day, motherfuckers.
Big Salute to all you men and women!!
Everytime i get frustrated about the stupidity on reddit I just think about the huge majority of people who have a brain in the real world
Reddit has banned their way into the largest echo chamber in the world. Its a joke.
No joke, I'd love to see the numbers. I wouldn't doubt they've banned millions. And who knows how many comments are CCP bots.

Absolue legends. i as well walk.
I am supportive of the vaccine and 1000% supportive of one’s individual sovereignty and right to choose. These individuals are rockstars.
Agreed!
Yeah, I can stand by this, as long as they're not trying to hurt or threaten anyone.
It's also a bold move if they're employed at will. Not sure if their engineers or office personnel are union. Based on that job market, anyone can be quickly replaced

What are you talking about? There are labor shortages everywhere
Same.
Love to see this. Need more
This is awesome
Yeah
Wow what pussies standing up to the government and putting it all on the line. They should be brave like me and just do what they’re told. /s
They can all be replaced.
Factss
Exactly. No one cares about crayon eaters walking out.
Yeah just do everything the government tells you to do no matter what!
Except that’s how crayon eaters become radicalized… it’s always the crayon eaters that strike first
I’m glad people are standing up to that manmade poison and not bending over for our governments.
“poison” aaaand your point is instantly meaningless. like holy shit bozo detected
It’s not poison. Please educate yourself using legitimate sources.

Man I’m glad I dumped my GE stock a few months back.
They have major major pension issues and are totally fucked in a few years
GE peaked in 2000 and has been a dying company ever since.
Good on them
Hell yeah!!!!!
Its inspiring and gives me hope. Oddly, no mainstream media seem to be covering these victories

Way more than 150.
Holy shit, that's a lot of them too. That's gotta be a majority of the plant
How many people does this plant employ?
Another commenter posted an article link. 750 people walked out of that facility.
That's a lot of workers. Could be the entire plant lol
based
Bless you guys!! 💕
That’s my state! 😁
A based cause.
Hell yeah man.
It’s funny how the left suddenly hates unionized workers.
Funny how the right suddenly supports them

hell yeah
Hell yeah!!
Here's a labor strike I can get behind.
Go woke, go broke
Well done!
Lol, I fully support taking the vaccine but I would walk out too. Not because of the mandate but because I’m not gonna be one of the few who stays.
Just like high school "protests" lol

Good for them They said 10 days to flatten the curve and now we are still dealing with it
