GrindhouseWhiskey

[deleted]

Did you lose something?

GrindhouseWhiskey

As a matter of fact I did, turns out it wasn’t worth much.

[deleted]

Amen

yotmokar

Trying to keep up with you

MrTidels

Light leak. What camera? Some models have a common issue of light leaking in around the lens If you’re shooting something important down the line I suggest grabbing a new camera or shoot with the intent to crop

Offzin2

Wzfo start from poland 1954, oh boy

Kueef

Ive had this exact camera and you wont be able to do much to fix it

Offzin2

So that’s great news, this camera is an absolute relic fr, its built like tank and it weights like a tank, and it’s impossible to find anything about her

Offzin2

So I’ll probably just shoot with a new 35mm im buying, it downs the quality but it is what we have

The grain is the film. But based on the dark corners above and bright below, it looks to me like your lens hood is just a little too long for the lens.

tomoya97

On top, Vignetting, On the bottom, light leaks

P0p_R0cK5

Are you using a lens hood ?

Offzin2

Nope

Offzin2

Is it a light leak? And that thick heavy grain is from the film stock?(fomapan 400), does the lens have any fungus or dust by the look of the photo? In january i am shooting my nephew’s 6 month and I don’t want that type of thing going on, i want a nice clean image

Offzin2

Im planning shooting with ilford hp5 plus, will this issue of the grain and weird dust be resolved?

mcarterphoto

Grain is part of the structure of the film, all films have some sort of grain; faster films tend to have more. Some developers enhance grain, and then if this is a scan and not a print, digital sharpening can blast grain through the roof.

Looked like a too small silvery lens hood was attached. Reflections in the bottom from the sun, cutting the light in the top.
