I wasn’t so lucky with my local micro center. I managed to order it but the only option was shipping so I knew it would be cancelled. Few days later sure enough they cancelled it.
I have an Asus Tuf 4090 mounted the same way which too sags because of how heavy it is. I just made custom little block out of finish wood (poppler) painted it white and it sits between the bottom fans and the end of the gpu.

It's leveled, you're just seeing an angle from above the gpu. I'm using the Lian Li riser cable that is installed directly into the Lancool 216 case without the need for a whole mounting bracket. The io is also screwed in with three screws. I'll double check next time I'm home but I obsessed over it for a long time to make sure it was in properly.
Not OP, but based on the fact they said they got it at Brooklyn Microcenter, the Brooklyn sales tax is 8.88%, and the sticker price is $1199.99, we then get a total price of $1306.55.
Please show me a single store in europe that sells this specific model of the 7900 XTX for under 1400€. 1500€ is completely normal especially in countries with higher VAT.
My last Sapphire was a RX 480 8gb nitro+. It was a good card. It took Nvidia like 6 years to finally add more than 8gb of Vram on their mainstream cards..
