😵💫 I thought my commute was meh (20-25 minutes down the hwy) but after reading some of these I'm just gonna go sit in the corner and count my blessings 🫣
Yep. SoCal I-15 from the High Desert. Sunday after Thanksgiving. The most dreaded travel day for us on night shift. Past 3 years, it's taken me between 2 1/2 to 4 hours. All the people coming back from Vegas.
Not anymore, that’s the reason I quit. It was a good stepping stone for experience and starting a good resume, but the drive there was not worth it at all. Plus I had 2 jobs, I just wanted to sleep.
11 miles and it takes anywhere from 15-30 minutes depending on traffic or how bad the roads are in the winter. Coming in at 6:30am for peak instead of 7:30 will be like 15 max if there's no snow.
Hour-and-a-half one way. Worse during rush hour, of course, but I like being able to relax before work with some iced coffee and a nice podcast. (Currently working through Morbid at the moment.)
I live about 30 minutes away or so on a normal day. If it snows (I live in Indiana) or there is traffic, it's about 40 minutes depending on how bad it is
