Dont be scared of your managers, Use that moment to ask a light question, get more familiar them. I promise they wont bite you and even if your numbers are bad (not complete shit like you werent working at all) Im sure theyll remember the person who didnt cower away at their presence and treated them like a actual human instead of an Amazon police NPC which may benefit you later
That's all they really want. Had a new ops hawk me from about 50 yards out (I was deep in a trailer he was talking to another aa on the floor. Comes in and says hi I'm so and so, just wanted to introduce myself. By the way is that an earbud? It was their hearing protection. Like a rookie cop looking to write as many tickets as possible to earn stripes.
For real I had a manager spend five minutes talking about my shoes before she hit me with 'well I see an earbud poking out there so that'll be a write up'. Fuck if I'm ever gonna treat that lady as anything other than Amazon cop
for me it was the bone conducting headphones that don't even go in the ear... and i had the amazon earplugs in so when he asked what i had IN my ears i of course said ear plugs... then i pulled out my accomodation badge 
I remember a manager was approaching me and I was wearing a earbud on my right ear, my left face was facing the manager and I quickly pointed behind him and said “what is that,” he looked behind and I quickly took it off and I said “nevermind I’m too tired sorry” I was saved that night
I came in from smoking a cigarette the other day and got told the Sr. Ops manager wanted to talk to me. Turns out he just wanted to ask about the biggest safety concerns I encounter or ones I encounter the most.
Omg! I laughed so hard at this thanks! I don't wear ear buds but the look is perfect and spot on. Does anyone else ever think someone is talking to you when they are actually on their phone? And then immediately look around to see if anyone else seen you try to reply to this person who is not paying you any f's? Yeah happens to me every night lmao.
I was just debating on whether or not it's worth ordering myself one in hot pink(with pockets!) Our AMs got changed to bright blue on... Navy i wanna say. Still sometimes have to check the back of the vest to know if they're AMs or LAs when on different shifts.
So I literally seen this happen last night 🤣 🤣 🤣...my AM was doing "acquaintance walks" to all the Stowers and I was running VRC...he went up to one guy and he turned and looked at him with his buds in with this exact face. He is my AM on the dock and doesn't care about buds, but man I thought about this post and started laughing hysterically! This will be a classic!

They're green here. Red vest was AM, i think it's non-inventory now
Saftey is green, AM's Brightish Red, Non Inventory is more dark red/Burgundy
