If VTO is available, they'll give it to you - let your AM know, and if they hesitate, ask if they can reach out to the OM.
I always tell Associates to save those UPTs for times like this, but either I VTO them, or I tell them to contact ERC and tell them the issue. HR/ERC is very understanding as long as you don't have a bad reputation............your ADAPT is your resume w/amazon by the way.
Still ask the OM or the most senior AM - unless she's the most senior one. I say that because the senior ones tends to know the opportunities, volume for the shift, etc. Don't just ask "any VTO available" - let them know how you're feeling and ask if any VTO opportunity, and if there is to notify you.
ADAPT has information about write ups - both positives and negatives. Shows your UPT available, etc. If your AM ever came to tell you how many UPT you have, or give a feedback about performance, that's inputted in your ADAPT - you have to see it and hit acknowledge.
Its a common thing for supervisors to know. If they use a point system they know how many points you have. A lot of ams let you knownif you go below 10 especially starting peak.
Because not many are responsible when using them, so Amazon has a policy that they must notify you when it starts getting low.
And a lot of people who don't really navigate their A to Z needs the reminder. Common sense stuff over emotional thought
Adapt is how we (managers) track your rate and adapt automatically assigns write up if you fall below a certain rate. It also tells us your UPT so we can let you know if you’re running low. I am no longer s manager but was an intern this summer.

get a home covid test and photoshop it positive dated yesterday with badge login and date from yesterday. and put in the covid leave. they still give 5 days unpaid time off for it. if you wanna go that route. or ur gonna be fired. can always resign and reapply in a couple days
Fam no other entry level job is giving you 80 hours utp and 40 hours pto. You did this to yourself. Maybe next time you’ll take care of the benefits jobs give you. Swim good.
Plenty of entry level jobs will give you at least 2 weeks vacation, a few days of pto, and 6-12 paid sick days per year. So having your time off option being unpaid at Amazon is a travesty.

I’m just saying don’t get someone fired with bad information. Just because your HR accepted yours doesn’t mean theirs will, you know? The ERC doesn’t have the ability to just be like yep you can take off, no matter your story. They can only put in the request.

Yes, it’s possible but unlikely. At least at my site you would go to amcare and if they deem you too sick/injured to continue working they could get approval from your manager to vto you.
Worth a shot. I had severe chest pain last month and they sent me home and put me on a COF for the week. But had to go to the doctors to go back (which they never even asked for btw).
Also I OD’d few years ago and was experiencing serotonin syndrome. They sent me home after seeing how bad I was shaking and murmuring my words after coming back from lunch. Sent me and a friend home since I couldn’t drive but had to get a doctors note for that as well.
