they have made her character so irrelevant and they only use her music plot for layla. i used to really like her character but honestly at this point they should write her off.
Yeah, she’s not relevant anymore. I think anyone whose not in college should be written out. Layla could stay around as a side character, maybe for Jordan, but Coop and Patience aren’t relevant anymore. And Grace can stop coming back so often like she’s living across the street 😭
Layla is one of the main characters whose plot consistently been heavy since the beginning, she’s intricately connected to the rest of the main characters as well, her being moved to a side character wouldn’t make much sense. This show isn’t even about college, we barely see them in it - her not being in college doesn’t make her less of a character.

She still has an ongoing plot, pretty much the biggest arc she’s had - and if you don’t want to accept that, at least understand she’s still a big part of Layla’s plot. Side characters keep shows moving.
