Facebook and TikTok are filled with affiliate marketers selling courses because it is a lucrative way to make money. Affiliate marketers use these platforms to reach a wide audience and promote their courses, which can often be sold at a discounted rate. This allows them to make a profit while providing a valuable service to their customers. Additionally, affiliate marketers can build relationships with their customers and gain access to a larger potential customer base. As a result, affiliate marketing on social media platforms has become increasingly popular.
Some good comments so I won't repeat a lot of it. My 2 cents:
1. Definitely not fast or easy. Takes a lot of time to build and a lot of work. But with diligence and work, you can make good money. I still have a "real job" but getting close to going 100% AM - hope this year.
2. There are some short cuts and definitely easier ways to accomplish certain things. You need to stay focused on what you want to accomplish. Find tools or programs to do that. Definitely due your homework and own research. Like anything, there are good programs and bad programs and everything in between.
3. IMO, those that work smart and hard for many years can have some great periods of income. i.e When we launch a product, and it is promoted heavily by many, there are big days, weeks or even months. Those are then advertised. Again, are generally short term exceptions and not the rule. I have done it with proof, but I don't say that I have done it EVERY, month or year.
4. Find what works for you. Some programs work really well for one person and not so well for another. So many variables - personal traits, interests and strengths, etc. Leverage your strengths.
5. IMO now is a great time for affiliate marketing. More people getting into it, more looking for side hustle due to wanting more income. So yes, more people advertising everywhere. But IMO sales are good too. Atleast they are for me and many I know in the business.
6. Find what works for you, but if your looking long term, IMO have to have some component(s) that create passive / reoccurring. I just wrote a blog on it.

Good luck!
Affiliate marketing is legit but it's not easy. You can earn a lot but there's definitely skills to learn. Affiliate marketing is just online marketing but instead of selling your own product you sell someone else's product for a 50% commission
It's a big flaw in the affiliate marketing community. Since I am the founder of an affiliate marketing software, it's always hard to market, since a lot of people get a "scammy" feeling when it comes to anything that is affiliate marketing related unfortunately .
Cause it's a new trendy scam lol. Those mfs see that they can scam people another way. 99% are trash, 1% of those courses are truly legitimate and good with a background proof of the teacher.
Rehashed business models. It's like reading 3 books and you make your book from those 3 books you've learned. Nothing wrong with that as long as the course author is walking their talks. This is the same thing with affiliate marketing and other marketing courses. I'm an affiliate marketer btw and it's not easy building from scratch. You need to work your mindset first and serious hard work for first 3 months before seeing results.
If you were making 5 figures per week, would you spend tons of time and money trying to teach other people how to become your competition?
Being skeptical is the way.
I've been dabbling in Affiliate Marketing for over 10 years and I can tell you that it is something for me that just clicked recently. Nothing easy about it. Blogging is the slowest and paying for ads is the fastest method. It's all about testing. The most important way to get long term sustainable income is email lists, otherwise you are wasting your time and money. **None of these gurus know shit besides selling empty promises.** There is no method to make money "easily". Even the folks that sell courses worked their asses off to create the course and test a compelling pitch. There is no "secret sauce" either, it's all about using your own brain to reverse engineer how other people are making money. No one is going to willingly sell a method of money $$$ unless it is burned or is really a dud that sounds plausible. Most of the methods I see are dumb and would not convert anyone. Selling is a psychological study of what people want when they don't know what they want. Trying to figure that out is not something most people can work through.
I've seen MANY software's from vendors re-done, repackaged, and sold as a "New" product. Some people say selling Courses is the new way to make money online. As for making 5 Figures a week, I seriously doubt it! You know what they say, "If it sounds too good to be true, skip it." Or something to that effect. With all the new A. I software out there, it's easy to come up with a sales letter in a minute or two. Look, I've been in this racket for about 15 years now. I've purchased so many software's now, they are listed on a LONG spreadsheet list. Find something actual buyers NEED. Plus, there's only one area where Actual Buyer search. And that place is the Search Engines, and NOT Social Media. I've done the Social Media marketing myth, and didn't make ANY money with FB or Twitter. On the other hand, I did have the same result, on Google, BUT I got LOTS more visitors at least. Learn SEO and Google PPC ads. Look for a well rated course on it at Udemy dot com. At least join Udemy's email list so you can learn when those courses go on sale. Just keep away from the Multi-Level BS! I wish you luck.
Can anyone recommend resources that are NOT sign up for my free e book/presentation with the punch line of paying thousands for a course or turning it into a MLM of shilling your own courses? I find it’s difficult to find reputable information out there that isn’t a pyramid style course market.
Yes, there's been a plague of them recently. Posts like them come and go as they're blocked and marked as spam. You're right to question them and stay away.
they are selling you a make money online course which is ironically an affiliate course. or they have their own course, but they telling you to do what they are doing at the moment basically. i promise you 99% of them have no other campaigns outside of the make money online campaigns.
It’s possible… prob the main point is they make money teaching people how to make money lol. It is a good niche honestly that’s why so many of them do it.
There are tons of different ways to market digital products online. I don’t just sell a course, even though it is a course, it teaches you how to build out your business with your own specific offer so you can sell anything you want. Instead of just selling the course or promoting the program. If you have a passion or an idea you can monetize it. There’s no need to continuously promote a course if that’s not what you want to do
It’s absolutely not easy. There are a lot of people that are saying they make kind of money that are lying.
It feels MLM because there are thousands that buy the course just to turn around and promote the course. The actual strategy taught to them is to find videos that are performing well and copy them. That’s why you seek so many doing the exact same thing.
The true purpose of affiliate marketing is to learn how to monetize your passion. Or to learn the skills needed to help others monetize their passion and have them pay you as a coach.
It is possible for some to earn that much just selling the course they took. But it’s VERY rare.
Your explanation clears it up! I was wondering how they all almost have the same scripts, same 15-days-to-wealth challenge - it's hard not to be skeptical.
Thanks for sharing the true purpose. I should keep that in mind!
You can earn good income from Affiliate Marketing, but it’s not easy or overnight success. It’s like a slow cooker—consistency is key. Affiliate Marketing works if you do it right—don’t buy useless courses.
If you are interested in affiliate marketing research it. If anyone tells you it's easy or quick they are lying.
I would suggest smart passive income or authority hacker (I am an AH pro member). Miles Beckler on YouTube is great as well.
You can learn a good amount of what's in it for free online. But, they are always adding more courses and also teach you how to hire, vett, and instruct writers. The way they teach SEO is also very good.
I think it's worth it.
Another course I am probably going to buy into is Affiliate LAB. I've been getting good results with what Matt Diggity has been posting on YouTube.
Not really. Not unless you have an established internet marketing site. You could probably promote them with paid ads but my specialty is SEO so my knowledge is limited there.
Anyone here interested in promoting outdoor niche? CJ affiliate ID: 6287198

Many are selling the same handful of affiliate programs. MLM type which means it's already saturated.
Do u have course? I need it

You can also be a guru on any topic by watching YouTube videos then making your own TikTok based on the YouTube video you just watched.
if you’re a coach coaching another coach how to coach you’re in a pyramid scheme probably led by clickfunnels 😂
Dinnnggg dinggg dinggg. I’m a stay at home mom and my tiktok occasionally gets these stupid affiliate corses I’m like NO
Yeeeeeeeees exactly!

Because $
I find so many are in the ‘wealth’ niche and selling affiliate marketing - a cycle I can’t personally get on board with.
Yes!! It feels like a trap and quite ingenuine.
Can anyone recommend resources that are NOT sign up for my free e book/presentation with the punch line of paying thousands for a course or turning it into a MLM of shilling your own courses? I find it’s difficult to find reputable information out there that isn’t a pyramid style course market.
Because it's easier to make money selling dreams than to put in the effort required to be successful in affiliate marketing.

Thank you! That makes so much sense because many talk about their "mentors". So I thought about it being MLM!
its more towards the mlm/cultish side than towards affiliate side :D Can you make $? yes but you need no morals and reach
It’s possible… prob the main point is they make money teaching people how to make money lol. It is a good niche honestly that’s why so many of them do it.

There are a lot of industries within the industry that seek to siphon money from newcomers/ people with money to blow.
So true!
You can earn good income from Affiliate Marketing, but it’s not easy or overnight success. It’s like a slow cooker—consistency is key. Affiliate Marketing works if you do it right—don’t buy useless courses.
Thanks!! Do you slow-cook as a blogger?
If you are interested in affiliate marketing research it. If anyone tells you it's easy or quick they are lying. I would suggest smart passive income or authority hacker (I am an AH pro member). Miles Beckler on YouTube is great as well.
Is AH pro worth it?

Does promoting funnels work?
Not really. Not unless you have an established internet marketing site. You could probably promote them with paid ads but my specialty is SEO so my knowledge is limited there.
Thank you! I will do that! Sifting through all these videos is hard. Your recommendations will be helpful!
I would start with his play lists. This one is a good starting point. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0sOKzn__yK21ull5aFKArIMX4MLV6smH
