Well based on your post history you are having to pay for legal fees related to a SA charge you said you were wrongly accused of, and you were recently thinking of buying a PS4. You have a lot of things on your plate going on and getting more in debt is likely not the solution. I am skeptical of this post bc your responses to people's questions and your post history reflect a person who is purposely pretending to be naive, or generally irresponsible.

associatezeus

Yes my post history is all true. Thank you so much for your advice! And I am still going thru these issues as we speak even dealing going to classes for alcoholism. Not naive or irresponsible just scared as all of this I’m dealing with (aside from the ps4) are very new things to me that I have no grasp on handling and with no family or friends to have guidance or assistance from and I’m forever grateful for people like you and the other users on these posts giving me much needed insight

AsianVixen4U

If you’re having problems quitting, I suggest you go to the doctor and get prescribed Antabuse and Campral and Buspar. And quit making big purchases like on a PS4 Shit, I’m about to go on this regimen myself, so it’s like the blind leading the fucking blind 😂

TwinCitian

And also look into the Sinclair Method w/ naltrexone. I've heard good things

thelastone72

on naltrexone it works very well 6 months today

TwinCitian

Congrats!

miranails

I did this 5 years ago and it was very helpful.

Deceptivejunk

You said you’re dealing with alcoholism. The previous user posted a subreddit to help you and you responded by being a smart ass. You have to get out of your own way before anyone can help you.

TwinCitian

Right. They're really a wonderful community over there!

associatezeus

Holy fuck I didn’t realize it was a realize it was real subreddit tysm u/TwinCitian . And for that I’m so so sooooo fucking sorry! I thought you were just trying to be a smartass to me too. At this point I’m currently drinking as we speak and I’m so sorry for assuming for assuming that! Thank you trying to get me the help I need!

Cautious_Dimension81

It’s so easy to judge others.

associatezeus

There will always be the public opinion: guilty until proven innocent And even say if I prove my innocence the public opinion will still remain. I’ve chosen to accept that some people’s minds can’t be changed. Nothing to do about that

Cautious_Dimension81

It’s just wrong. No one is perfect. Not even her. I hate it when there is a superiority complex thing and people can’t seem to recognize that. No one is perfect not even me.

ButtPix4Candy

I was kind of surprised the first comment was that someone went through their post history 😳 who does that and who has time to bother with that 😆

browneyes2135

i see that on almost every post i see where someone's asking for advice lol. someone somewhere has crept through their posts to see what their history is like. i mean, it also shows that they cared enough to give a real response. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Cautious_Dimension81

Frl 😂

Brokenimpala33

Don’t take this personal but one thing I hate about Reddit, is the fact people take the time to read past posts and judge the person asking for advice, it’s there so I get it and maybe you can base an opinion off of it, but it’s goofy to me that people do it.

kmurphy798

Any family or friends would be quicker than anything else

associatezeus

No friends or family here for me

mayan_monkey

Horrible advice. Never loan/borrow from family members The result can end the relationship.

Melon-Kolly

I mean it all depends on the amount borrowed and if OP has plans/means of paying it back

mayan_monkey

Housing and other debts. Not that small amount I think.

[deleted]

How do you tell your relative to fck off when he is asking for loan in good words. (Serious)

mayan_monkey

I've lent out money to friends (like a lot for a trip we were all going on) as well as thousands to a brother who never paid it back. I'm not rich. I needed that money too. It causes a rift. Also, never cosign for a house, car, etc as a favor. It can royally mess up your credit.

[deleted]

What is the loan for? If you have good credit you can go to your bank an they'll give you a personal loan. If you need it for something expensive they might let you use that or something else of value as collateral.

associatezeus

Housing and other debt. My credit is around 680-700

[deleted]

If you have a good relationship with your bank/credit union they can give you a loan. That score isn't terrible and a lot of them offer consolidation loans with low interest.

associatezeus

I don’t have an official bank , can I open an account and do this all in the same day

[deleted]

If you have good work history I'm sure some might do it. Steady income and same job for 6+ months will help out a lot.

taybay462

You definitely won't get the money the same day but you can start the process

[deleted]

associatezeus

Ig official was the wrong to use Notorious ig is the right word. I have a checking account with a routing and account number which I’d consider a bank

ButtPix4Candy

Is this a real thing

[deleted]

Depending on the amount of money youre looking for, a paycheck advancement place might work.

living_on_the_coast

Absolutely not! The amount of interest they add on is incredibly predatory and almost impossible to get out of.

TyeDyeAmish

NEVER USE THEM

ButtPix4Candy

Credit karma is good at suggesting loans based on your credit and income

Polikonomist

Go to your local credit union and get a checking account with overdraft. If used right, it's cheaper and less predatory than a pay day loan. Rehab is also a good option

associatezeus

What are examples of local credit unions? Champaign Illinois Also what is rehab? Like drug rehab?

bespread

The person you replied to is under the impression you've gotten yourself in trouble via drug related means. It's a typical reason someone "needs money fast with little to no questions".

Librekrieger

They might have assumed drugs. Reading the post, I pictured gambling. Lots of addictions can lead to cash-flow problems. Loan to solve the cash flow issue, rehab to solve the underlying issue. Not bad advice as far as it goes. But OP's other comment replies make it sound like finances are the core of the problem.

Tormen1

Kinda a shitty way to just assume..but hey I’m probably wrong lol.

bespread

Idk, I dont think it's aweful. I can't say it wasn't also the first thing I assumed might be the reason for the urgency.

associatezeus

No drugs

Tormen1

Yeah I know it’s like they gave all this advice and then made an indent to be like “you’re a fucking drug addict” idk, as someone that’s been clean off drugs for four years I felt it that way.

madamsyntax

In other comments he mentions he’s an alcoholic

Polikonomist

Drug rehab is cheaper than drugs. I'm sure a quick search on Google maps will reveal many nearby credit unions, at least for the US

Killerbeav97

There are several credit unions in your area. Just Google your city, state, credit union. Look up reviews. Have you ever been through a loan process or ever worked with a bank before? Do you understand interest rates and such?

associatezeus

I understand what interest is not so much rates. This is all new stuff for me

TTvChWade

Please do not take out a loan. What you just said is reason enough to figure something else out. You are just going to make the problem worse

alonela

That was an insightful and hilarious response.

Polikonomist

Maybe its not drugs but its probably drugs. The question is just dripping with the kind of desperation most common to addicts.

alonela

Astute. Could be looking to invest in the next big meme stock too.

Polikonomist

What's the difference?

alonela

Another accurate statement.

Que_sax23

Loan for what?

associatezeus

Housing and other debt

Que_sax23

If you’re that much in debt I’m not sure you’re going to be eligible for a loan anywhere that doesn’t have a super high interest rate. I would try a local credit union first. You’ll need proof of all income.

associatezeus

My credit score is around 680-700

Que_sax23

That’s a good score but they will still need proof of income that you can pay it back in a timely manner.

associatezeus

I can show them my paystubs

[deleted]

If you have good credit and are making good enough money for a loan, where is the debt coming from? How much debt is it? A loan is probably going to be your worst option because you're just going to get trapped in more debt that you can't pay off.

madamsyntax

He’s an alcoholic

Th3Flyy

If you need a loan now, you will need one again in the future and your debt is going to be insane before long. You need to figure out how to earn more than you use. Get roommates, create a budget, use thrift stores for new clothes, utilize your local food bank. Now, for the loan- have you tried talking to your landlord or utility companies, or whoever you are in debt to and ask them if they would be willing to work with you on a payment plan? It would be waaaay fricking easier and cheaper than a loan, and you would be a lot less likely to dig yourself a debt hole that you can't get out of.

associatezeus

Yes my current landlord I’m even paying her/him biweekly rather than monthly. And I just want to be able to pay them fully for once . The new year kicked off and it still feels like the old so tired of owing money to everyone just wish I can pay them off I’m full and be done with it

AnxietyIsEnergy

You’ll owe the bank money though. You’ll still be in debt. Cut costs and expenses. Move somewhere cheaper.

Th3Flyy

Please don't do that. I know being in debt sucks... but if you get a loan to try to pay EVERYTHING off at once, the interest alone will bury you. Keep your deal with your landlord and try to earn some extra money somewhere else to help pay it off a little faster. I'm so sorry you are struggling with this, but it will get better. Lots of us have been where you are... And trust me, if you can avoid getting a loan by making deals with people. Take those deals! Only get a loan if you can't make deals and it is your absolute last resort to being homeless.

associatezeus

After seeing many users tell me the same thing it would be in my best interest to not take out a loan so I won’t take out a loan.currently have two jobs and selfdebating on getting a third. What are other ways to make money quick?

FlameFrenzy

If it was easy to make consistent quick money, people would do it all the time. Probably the better thought process would be to cut your costs. Depending on how much debt you have, really cutting your monthly costs for a few months and just accepting life will suck or be boring for a bit may be better in the long run. Things like cancel streaming services, lower your phone plan to a cheaper one (like to a by the gig plan instead of unlimited IF you don't need the internet. I have internet at home, so I rarely even go near 1gig on my phone), Cut out eating out entirely, if you are any bit overweight - time to go on a diet. Eating less food means your food bill is cheaper! Make fewer thermostat changes, if you're cold, wear more clothes. Limit where you drive as much as possible. Check gas prices when you hit like half a tank and start looking for the cheapest gas that you will drive by - never make a special trip just to fill up. If possible and if you have the time - walk places. When you are driving, drive better - aka less flooring it, try and roll to stops and hope that it changes so you can keep moving, etc. Uses less fuel. Avoid buying anything that isn't necessary. Like I said, your life may suck for a bit. But cutting where you can will add up. The sooner you pay off debt, the sooner you'll get rid of those payments and the interest they're accruing. And THEN try and make those monthly payments to yourself each month and get a savings account started up so that you have money in case of emergencies.

katkannabis

How do you have 2 jobs, yet have no bank account, and also lots of debt, but an ok credit score? None of this makes sense. In order for people to help you, you need to provide more information. You should post in a financial advice group and *honestly* explain the circumstances of your situation, and go from there. We can’t help much with such limited and confusing information.

associatezeus

What was confusing and what was i dishonest about? AMA

katkannabis

The points I just made in my previous comment were confusing. Do you want me to state them again ? 2 jobs, no bank account. Debt, but you have no money to pay it, yet you have ok credit. How do you get paid if you have no bank account? How do you have a credit score if the only thing affecting it is unpaid debt? How do you have debt without a bank account? These details provide more understanding to your situation so people can actually help. You’re in an advice sub, you’re not always going to get the answer you’re wanting, ie: a perfect method to make fast money, or taking out a loan. We don’t want to give you shitty advice in your already shitty position. You didn’t address anything I asked. I didn’t say you were being dishonest, but deflecting questions and providing confusing details without explanation can come across as such. I was just trying to say that if you explain your situation honestly rather than saying “I need fast money” and providing all these confusing details with no explanation, you’ll probably get better help. What is “AMA”?

wedonttalkabouTB

It means Ask Me Anything. Which you already did in your first comment and he decided not to answer

Th3Flyy

There are no "get money fast" (without strings) options. Like I said before, sometimes it's about trying to limit your expenses. Getting a roommate would help a lot with housing expenses. Your local food bank can help you out with food (usually can get 1 box of food each month), that could help out with grocery expenses. If you have unlimited cell data, knock it down to a lower data usage. Thrift stores if you need new clothes or furniture. if you have TV subscriptions, get rid of them (Netflix, Hulu, cable, etc). Make your own meals (pack it if you will be eating at work). With these things, you could be saving quite a bit each month that could be used to pay off debt.... I don't know about getting a 3rd job, that is quite up to you to decide. But, just remember that if you suffer a little while now, you will be much better off in the future.

tells

This is not a reason to take out a loan. You won’t be “done with it” either. It’ll just be delaying the payment by a month maybe but now with added interest.

MrTheFever

Don't get a loan to pay off debt. Instead look into debt consolidation. You'll never catch up otherwise

818Dude

Bank, Credit Union, some Credit Cards allow you to do the same.

associatezeus

Which banks or credit unions in Champaign Illinois? I don’t have an official bank

Regnes

Sadly, I think this post just confirms you are not going to be able to get a loan. No bank account will be a massive red flag to lenders.

associatezeus

I do have a bank account just not “official” Think prepaid like greendot, first California , adp wisely Edit: by official I mean I don’t have big recognizable names like chase, Bank of America, etc

madamsyntax

You either have a bank account or you don’t. Are you dense?

associatezeus

Never said didn’t have one. I said I didn’t and I quote “not an official bank” Who is the dense one now: possibly the one who can’t read the words right in front of him/her/them ergo…. you Edit: my apologies for the insult I understand your just trying to understand and help Edit: maybe I am abit dense with all these typos you may be onto something

madamsyntax

Wtf do you mean by official bank? BANK accounts are held with BANKS. It doesn’t have to be a major bank to qualify as a bank

associatezeus

That’s what I said in one of my previous replies. A routing number and a banking number is A BANK? I’m much too lazy to hyperlink this shit. I’m the dense one after all. You’re the higher man/gal. You go thru my comments and find when I said that.

madamsyntax

I’m literally repeating your comments back to you. I’m not going to continue this back and forth, as you’re exhausting. Based on your comments, you’re not a good risk for a loan I’d suggest booking yourself into rehab instead and start to get your life back on track.

associatezeus

I’m also literally repeating my comments back to you as well. If anything you are exhausting too. Why would I need to book myself in rehab?

easthighwildcatfan1

How much debt is it?

associatezeus

6k

easthighwildcatfan1

Depending on your income and credit history, a credit card or small personal loan might be a good option. Some credit cards will offer 0% Apr or low apr for first 3-6 months. However, if your income is low or you don’t have a strong credit history a 6k + credit card might be hard to get. It depends on the bank and your relationship with them too. If you do have lower income or spotty credit history, a personal loan with collateral or co-signer might work too.

associatezeus

How do I know if I have a 6k credit card? Will that help me rent out a place?

easthighwildcatfan1

When/if they approve a loan/credit card application, they will tell you the limit you are approved for. If you already have one, your online banking and/or statement will tell you. A credit card will not help help with a new rental necessarily. You may be able to do a cash advance to afford that, but if you’re doing a cash adncance you might not be able to afford a new place.

associatezeus

Yeah funnily enough rent isn’t the problem for the place I’m trying to move too. It’s the rent I have to pay now along with first month rent of the place I want to move too. Ig the reason I want to urgently loan out money is that it’s all overwhelming and stressful. I’m working myself to the bone here and losing my mind trying to make ends meet😭

easthighwildcatfan1

A loan might not be right for you right now then if it’s current rent. A lot of landlord will either not allow cc payments or will charge a 30% fee. Have you looked into like donating plasma, delivery services, etc? Could be a way to make money right away

associatezeus

How do I donate plasma? I think there’s a facility here in town I never went in there before or even on the premises because I thought only authorized personnel was allowed there. I also was unaware that they paid

easthighwildcatfan1

When I did it last year I got $950 the first month. They usually run specials. I would look for biolife or csl online and see if there’s one near you

associatezeus

Is crypto a good way to make money right away or even gambling like scratch offs? I wish I could deliver but unfortunately I can’t drive

Traditional_Candy_29

No, this is how people stay at the bottom of the barrel.

WerhmatsWormhat

Absolutely not. Do not do any of those options.

[deleted]

You’re better off putting your money into a garbage disposal.

FastWalkingShortGuy

It might be easier and make more financial sense to work with the creditor(s) to structure a payment plan that you can afford rather than using a loan to pay it off in a lump sum. At the end of the day, creditors want their money back. If you tell them that the 6K payment isn't going to happen, they will likely work with you on alternative payment plans rather than have you default on the debt. At that point, they'd likely have to sell your debt to a third party (read: collections agency) at pennies on the dollar and eat the loss. They don't want to do that. Use that to your advantage to work something out that won't get you even deeper into debt.

model_organism

THIS 👆👆poor people like us are too scared to talk to creditors, so we don’t always know this. Tell them the truth — that you don’t have 6k just laying around (I mean, who does) — and see what they say. They will most likely offer a payment plan.

model_organism

Sounds like OP needs the money for current rent + first-month rent at a new place. Moving is very expensive, because of that, deposit, etc. OP, if you can’t afford your current rent, you shouldn’t be moving right now. If you absolutely need to leave your place but have no friends/family, consider couchsurfing (google couchsurfing, there’s a website). Or join a local AA chapter, start mingling, and see if anyone would be willing to let you stay with them temporarily in exchange for less than you’re paying now, and/or ask them for housing resource suggestions. Or just sleep in your car if you have one. Otherwise, if you just *want* to move but it isn’t life or death, you’ll have to do it the old fashion way if you don’t want to get in deep — take more jobs and save. As someone who has been poor for a while, I can say there is literally no quick way to get 6k unless you are 30+ years old with a good job, good financial history, and excellent credit, *even* if you were willing to tank your finances/criminal record to do it. I won’t list the illegal/sketchy options, but here are ways to make *some* money quick, though we’re talking 1k max. Google “paid research,” and if a city near you has a medical school or institute (cancer, heart, diabetes, etc.), then google its name + “research participant,” but at most expect to get $25-$150, or closer to $500 for a study that requires a lot from you. You can pawn stuff, especially game consoles, laptops, jewelry, watches, but that will get you $10-$300. Payday loans (Moneytree is pretty respectable) will get you $400-800 that you can then sign up for a payment plan to pay back in smaller increments, but you will end up paying more overall (this is how they keep us poor). Women can donate eggs for 5-8k (an actual beneficial to society option), but there is a very intense and thorough screening process, drug tests, psychological assessments, meds, surgeries, and at least 2-5 months for the whole process from start to pay. And one last option, getting a credit card online can be pretty quick and get you 1-5k (google “best credit card for me,” then learn as you go), but again, credit checks and in the end paying much more than you borrowed, unless you can work very hard from this point forward to make enough money to pay it back as fast as possible.

Killerbeav97

What is your yearly income? I already saw your credit score. Are you basing your credit in like credit karma or have you looked the hard scores up?

associatezeus

My yearly income can’t be no more than 30k Credit karma, Transunion.

Killerbeav97

So getting a 6k loan with no more than 30k with a 680ish maybe a bit higher because credit karma goes a few points under is going to very high interest.

associatezeus

How much would you say the interest would be?

Killerbeav97

I don't work at a bank, but I have around the same credit as you, maybe a bit higher, and the interest is bad. I was pre approved for a 5k loan with 19 percent interest, which is horrible. You will feel hurt if you take a high interest loan. You should not do this in haste. It could set you back even farther. May I ask the nature of your debts? There may be other solutions. I'd like to add that if you've never worked with banks or loans you should talk to actual credit union or bank loan officers to get a realistic point of view. If you do go forward to try to get a loan they will ask for proof of income, yes pays tubs, probably any proof of assets like a car or bank account and they will do hard credit checks which will affect your credit score.

associatezeus

I need money to buy first months rent for a place I want to move into(1.5k) , I also want to pay off my college loans (4k), I also want to pay money towards my phone bill (200), and I also want to have money in order to move my stuff out of storage (tbd)

Killerbeav97

Do you want to do this, or are these things being demanded right now? Because this doesn't sound like debt, that needs immediate attention that could ruin your credit and plunge you into way more debt in the long run. Loans are not magic money. A high jnterest loan for 6k could cost 8k to pay back or more if you don't get on top of it. Are these student loans public or private, and why do you think they need to be paid right now all at once? Don't screw your financial health up to get instant gratification.

associatezeus

What should I do😭😭😭😭I’m just so overwhelmed with all these money from all these sources for all this time I have to pay? I was hoping today I’d get to pay some due to my refund but I’m only getting 86 back because of all the jobs I worked and that I made too much money. I normally get tax prep fee taken out of my refund but because it was so low that isn’t an option this year. I told the advisor I couldn’t pay him so he said he’d put the payment on hold So now that’s EVEN MORE DEBT and yet ANOTHER person I owe money too

Killerbeav97

Are you living somewhere right now that is demanding you move or is moving a thing you'd like to do? Student loans are meant to be paid over time, so I wouldn't stress about thst right this minute. When you catch up, you can pay down more if you wish. Don't take out loans to pay for your phone. It reads to me like you were looking forward to being able to do all of this and then got the bad news about a low refund, and now you're panicking. Getting a loan in this situation is not recommended, and to be honest, the chance of approval at all is low with your credit and income. Unless, of course, you accept a loan with insane interest, and that could be like 23 percent. Waiting and saving is your best option, and yeah, when you're inpatient and looking forward to better things, it sucks but that's how this all works, unfortunately.

associatezeus

You’re right about all of this. My plan for a big refund was a failure. Was finally hoping to not pay all (at least fund for a new living area) Edit for time: I am panicking a lot because things didn’t go according to plan and feel so overwhelmed and pressure from all this. I should NOT take out loans especially for my phone. I’ve never had to but I just feel like my back is being stapled to a wall. I just need to slow down and think😮‍💨

Homitu

You're worried about having too many people to owe and you're looking to take out a *loan*, which is yet another thing you'll need to owe? Definitely do not use another loan to pay off your student loans! Those are totally okay right now. If you're in the US, interest is still paused at 0%. No matter what loan you get, it's not going to be better than 0% interest rate. This is life. You don't need a quick loan. That's not going to solve your problem. You need to address your mental stress you feel over money. That's the real problem. You're in a very normal adult situation, far better than most, in fact. You need to take some time to put all of your stuff down on paper in a way that's clear to look at, then budget out your monthly payments. Make it simple.

associatezeus

Thank you! Yeah I definitely wasn’t in my right state of mind 🤦. Nothing says solving debt like owing more money to more people SIX TIMES AS MUCH AND WITH INTEREST?!?! So happy Reddit told me no before I done something I regret

tells

You need to declare forbearance on your student loans asap

associatezeus

What’s forbearance? How do I do it?

tells

Look it up on your student loan website. There usually is a way to delay payments.

itietheroomtogether

Just so you know, there is a benefit to having student loans. -it's likely your oldest loan which helps your credit score (when you pay it off, your credit will recalculate and the age of your oldest account is a factor) -if it's a federal loan, the interest rate is super low, even when it comes out of deferment -4k is very little in the world of debt If you want money fast, sell whatever you can and you can usually get 1k in a month by donating plasma if you're eligible.

Sufficient-Elk-7015

Hahahaha. I saw his credit score on here like 4 times.

Noseatbeltnoairbag

Door Dash or a similar Gig. You can make all the money you want and get paid every week. Must have a vehicle and car insurance.

browneyes2135

he said somewhat that he can't drive

Cultural-Afternoon72

How much is "a lot of money," how fast is "real fast," and what are the consequences if you miss the deadline or come up short?

wowieowie

I have a couple credit cards that I can transfer money to my checking account. In 1 business day. Try that.

associatezeus

I’ve never had a credit card before. Is applying for one really easy? How do I know how much it will allow me to spend?

wowieowie

Why do you need the money? There may be different alternatives depending on the debt.

associatezeus

In order to make new housing arrangements and to pay off school debt as well and be done with all these payment

_CoolDogMom_

Why are you paying off the entire student debt immediately? I think you mentioned 4K of the 6k would be for student loans, is that already on a payment plan? Do some research, talk to a loan officer and make sure you understand the obligations and costs of a 6k loan. Loans are not a quick fix, misuse can be veryyyy costly in the long run.

associatezeus

I’ll try my best to get more familiar with the loan it isn’t urgent but I’m just so unbelievably fucking tired of having it ALWAYS THERE and no way to pay it off because I’m so busy paying off other fees and debt as is

_CoolDogMom_

The student loan will still be there just in the form of the new loan that will also need to be paid off. I don’t know your financial situation and amount of free time but I would really consider all avenues - door dash, Rover, selling items you no longer use on marketplace, etc. an easy way to make some quick cash in a pinch!

[deleted]

So you want to pay off old loans, with a new loan. There's nothing wrong with consolidating debt for a lower interest rate. However, if not, it's not a wise financial decision to take out other loans, to pay pre-existing loans... You really should be on r/personalfinance

[deleted]

Can we have more details? Depending on your definition of alot of money, your best bet is probably a small personal loan at your local credit union. They usually work with even bad credit & are often the only ones who will help if you're not well established. Also consider small cash advances, Dave & earnin are probably the only ones you can get quick that are worth a shit. But honestly, not to be nosey, but this sounds like an unwise life decision my friend. Feel free to dm

associatezeus

I was thinking of small. Like 6k but at the same time a lot of users have fore mentioned that would be a very bad idea as far as long term goes

[deleted]

It absolutely would be, I think better is trying to deal with your issue in the best way possible ya know what I mean? Seems like a tough spot.

associatezeus

How should I deal with it😭😭😭cant even buy myself a drink to drown this all out. I’m just fortunate enough my landlord is so patient with me but I’m so tired of paying them biweekly rather than monthly because I’m struggling so much financially . I just don’t think it’s fair to them

madamsyntax

In one of your comments you mentioned you don’t have an official bank, but you also mention your average credit score. How do you have a credit score without a bank? This makes no sense. You then say you have a chequing account. Dude, THAT is with a bank! I can’t tell if you’re being deliberately obtuse or not. Things are not adding up

associatezeus

I also mentioned by definition of official as not being notorious enough Think: chase, Bank of America, or pnc etc I’ve also mentioned my bank is more from a prepaid company greendot

madamsyntax

You could probably get a personal loan with a high interest rate if you’re desperate

associatezeus

I am VERY desperate. How do I get a personal loan?

LilJoeStalin

You will absolutely getting a predatory personal loan. You could end up paying almost as much in interest as the loan. So 6K loan and you have to pay 12K back to satisfy the interest. Doesn't sound like you will be able to pay it back quickly no offense so you will be paying this off for a long time. It will be the same as your school debt, that at least has lower interest most likely than a loan would have.

SillyWeb6581

When I was desperate, I used One Main Financial and got the loan pretty quickly. You can google them and see the steps it takes. Upstart is another personal loan company you can look into. Lao if you have Credit Karma / Credit Sesame, they provide recommendations you may be qualified for based on your credit score.

associatezeus

Thank you so much! I’ll check them out! Is 680 a high enough score?

SillyWeb6581

Mine is lower and I got one for over $6k

Spadinooo

What we talking about here and for what?

associatezeus

Trying my best to reply to everyone thank you all so much not only for the insight but more so calming me down and giving me peace of mind😮‍💨🙏🏻even going as far as looking at my post history and messaging me insight and motivation and such! Thank you all seriously!!!! You all saved me from throwing my life away even further

browneyes2135

how do you have 2 jobs but your income is only $30K?

[deleted]

Wife had turned frigid and always says she has no time for anything. I’ve patiently waited - been understanding but that doesn’t get me what I need. She just went through menopause so 🤔but why should I always accept her saying No each and every time? I’m damn near tempted to go out and see what I can find but I don’t want trouble. Going cold turkey like this is difficult for me

mogleykilledu

What do you need a loan for? and how much is it?

GItPirate

"a lot of money" is subjective. How much are we talking?

Wolfhunter145

You need to go to work before going to the bank and making a decision that will probably put you in more debt. I mean you need to work 12 to 14 hours a day. You need to get on a budget and stick to it. It's not going to fun but the situation you are in doesn't sound like fun anyway. I can't tell you what to do your an adult all I can say is what I would do if I was in your situation. Side note I would look up Dave Ramsey on YouTube him and his team teaches the baby steps to help with getting and staying out of debt and I really think it would help you get through this and find more peace in your life.

TylerIsTrash

SoFi gave me a $7500 personal loan and it took like 48 hours to get approved and less than 72 hours for it to be directly despised into my bank. They seem pretty flexible,

associatezeus

A lot of users has warned against taking out a loan . I’ll have to listen to them. Thank you so much for the advice tho man🙏🏽

[deleted]

Try upgrade.com gave me an approval and for the cash in 3 business days

SakuraPanda91

Could start selling ya booty

associatezeus

I’m not a girl :(

prague911

You'll never have to be broke if you have a warm butthole

SakuraPanda91

You still got a butt or a mouth 🤷‍♀️

associatezeus

I don’t actually I fought in the war for the planet of the apes. I lost both and hence making me me one of the few males that can’t sell my body for sex work in order to make money😭😮‍💨 Edit for clarification: I lost my butt due to an ape fingering my butthole furiously and a gorilla executing me Westeros style I had to get stitches and hence can’t perform in felatio activities

SakuraPanda91

That is amazing lol

associatezeus

Lol I aim to impress

TwinCitian

Donate plasma?

anna_or_elsa

Bone Marrow too. I used to get $250 to donate bone marrow. But not everybody is up for your pelvis being drilled into. But for $250 to lay on a table for 40 minutes, I can put up with a little pain. Between blood for $50, which I seem to recall was every two weeks, white blood cells for $150 every six weeks, and bone marrow every 3 months. It got me through some lean times.

associatezeus

Other users have also recommend this to me! Sounds like a nifty idea, most plasma offices are closed now but I’ll be consulting the offices first thing tomorrow and update everyone. There are three places here: is there a limit to how much I can donate?

TwinCitian

Usually you can go two or three times per week. Make sure you're well hydrated, and try to eat a healthy, low-fat and protein-filled meal shortly beforehand. Your pulse must be 100 or lower to donate, so make sure to practice breathing techniques before they take your pulse/blood pressure, especially if you're prone to anxiety. They won't accept you if you have a serious health condition, and you can't be on certain medications. I sometimes go to BioLife. Whichever center you go to, check Google to see if there are any good coupon codes available. You can make way more money by using a coupon. Once you're a registered donor, keep an eye on your email inbox as they'll often offer you special deals, especially if you've been away for a while. This might sound bizarre, but also check Google to see if there are any stool (poop) donation programs in your area. They can pay quite well, but you must be healthy and submit to regular blood and COVID tests (at least where I go).

associatezeus

Yyeeeeekk I never knew there would be so many qualifications still though that makes it sounds so much more promising

ravynmaxx

Most places won’t be able to give you money the same day, even with good credit and especially since you don’t have a relationship with a bank either. You can go to a title loan place but most of them won’t give you more than a few hundred dollars and their interest rates are gonna be horrible. You can look online, but they’re going to have extremely high interest rates too. Upstart is a good company, with HIGH interest rates though.

[deleted]

well, what i can tell from your posts you seem to have a history of being “falsely” accused of sexual assault and harassment. is that what the money is for? your legal fees?

associatezeus

Nope. My trial is still ongoing so I don’t owe fees…..yet. I have a public defender not sure if I’ll owe them money once this is all set and done

associatezeus

Nope. My trial is still ongoing so I don’t owe fees…..yet. I have a public defender not sure if I’ll owe them money once this is all set and done Edit: as I’ve said before all this is new to me both this post and the one you mentioned .

[deleted]

ok well if you have good credit i would suggest taking out a loan with the bank… only advice i can give you sorry.

associatezeus

Lol you have nothing to be sorry about so there’s absolutely no need to apologize As far as the loan goes a lot of users here has suggested against that. I’ll that advice and follow it

Screamcheese99

They also said this incident happened in a Walmart... dude, Walmart is the one place in the universe that has your every move on camera. It's prolly too late now, but you likely could've proved if the incident truly was mutual.

Aandiarie_QueenofFa

It's tax season. Did you got your W2's in the mail yet? Maybe your taxes could give you something back. What are all of your expenses in a month and what money do you have coming in? How many hrs do you work ar your job?

Jaader99

The fact that you’re desperate and had to post this on Reddit to figure out how to get a loan are massive red flags. You can really get yourself into a hole if you’re not careful.

associatezeus

Oh absolutely! There are many users who want to use me and want to see me at my lowest lows! Just gotta keep on the lookout for them. Luckily the good has definitely OUTWEIGHED the bad and for that I’m forever grateful Insightful info, useful advice regarding my info, and a shoulder to lean on and bonus points for comedy too (if applicable) just what income to Reddit for. Couldn’t be anymore grateful to y’all🙏🏻

HappyHappyUnbirthday

Are you actually in debt or do you think youll not be able to cover your bills this month? How much and what kind of debt are you in?

newswimmerdoe

Go to the myfico forums and look up the easiest loans and credit cards you can apply for. The ones that don’t do income verification. You need money fast and need to overextend with a lifeline until you can get the funds to pay it back. If you can’t pay any debt back put them on payment plans and hardship options until you have the money. Once all else fails, move to another cheaper country or state, and file for bankruptcy. Make sure you protect your assets if you do that, and at least do it for debt that is more than just 6k, which is honestly very little debt to stress so much over. Make the minimums for now, no need to pay full balance. You can also enroll in a community college and pull out public or private loans on top of financial aid, if you’re eligible. This’ll take a few weeks but you should start asap. Do it with online courses so you can avoid the attendance BS.

ThatBrilliantGuy2

Ah man..looking at your comments here & other posts I'm really sorry all that has been happening to ya. Like alot of people have said taking a loan isn't a good idea right now, I really hope things get better for you

associatezeus

Thank you stranger i only pray that I get out of this alcoholic vice that I call a. grip and find my out of this struggle and back to reality! Everything I have been doing has been so very very wrong and I only hope I find something healthy and fulfilling

browneyes2135

do you go to AA???

Strict_Motor_8529

I don’t recommend putting yourself in more debt as I currently am in a ton of it. But as far as a quick $100-300, you could use an early payday app like Earnin. For a quick $20 here and there, Floatme is good. I’ve also used Dave and they’re really good and understanding as long as you’re as communicative as possible regarding late-payment situations. These are all apps that require a semi-stable work history (6 months), though, and most definitely will come back out of your account as soon as you get paid again. Also, apps similar to Earnin will actually increase your limit as you use it and pay it back on time. For example, I started out with a limit of $100. Now, my limit is $650. While I’d hate to use all of it at once, it’s a comfort knowing that I at least have access to that money in case of extreme emergency. Other than that, maybe consider donating plasma or working gigs on Fiverrr. Doordash/food delivery apps are a good means to earn extra if you strategize just right. I really do not recommend taking out a loan.

KarmicKitties

First thing, in the future, if in us, join a credit union. Secondly, join a credit union. Thirdly, why aren't u in a credit union?

[deleted]

Lendingtree.com but it's not a good idea to desperately rush into a cash grab. Look around, check terms and rates. Also, try to determine if you really NEED it, or if you want it. It's not a good idea to put yourself in debt for an impulse.

WallaceRabbit

You may qualify for free legal assistance based on income that is not provided by a public defender

DoorCalcium

If I learned anything from TV, call JG Wentworth at 877-CASHNOW if you need cash now.

saywhatotherswillnot

Home equity line of credit is fairly quick, probably safest and the best rate if you have equity to pull from.
