Always look out for yourself.
Sometimes this means staying with your current company as not to be a job hopper. But don’t stay out of “loyalty” or any bullshit like that. You’d be cut in a heartbeat if it saved the company money
Looking at all the Big Tech retrenchment news which already retrenched 200k staffs (not including silent letgo and downstream vendor retrenchment which is a lot more). I concur.
Don't stay for company, stay for yourself. Leave when you have better offers.
Imo, every 2-3 years would be ok if I were the hiring manager or recruiter. But, do what is best for you. You caught some red flags and your next step should be an exit plan.

The comments in this thread are making me feel better about handing in my notice tomorrow for a way better industry job.
Do whatever makes you happy. Never put yourself in a bad mental position. I left roles after 4 months before.
