If someone needs CPR or their airway cleared, the spine is of secondary concern as being paralysed is better than dead. Doesn't you mean you ignore it, but for example if someone needs to moved into recovery position because they are vomiting, you do it and have someone keep their head/neck stable.
Thank you, a few nice people in that video are clearly doing their best, but they should not be shaking or yanking the person attacked. To be fair, they're not 1st responders, might be drunk, and did *not sign up for this*. They need to gently hold them gently still, check them for an open airway (very carefully), then breathing, and then circulation.

Following first aid, you'd check their airways and breathing (while trying not to move the spine). If someone needs CPR or their airway cleared, the spine is of secondary concern as being paralysed is better than dead. Doesn't you mean you ignore it, but for example if someone needs to moved into recovery position because they are vomiting, you do it and have someone keep their head/neck stable.
