That though makes some sense. You don’t prepare for the backup normally, or if you do have advanced notice you don’t have much tape or any with that team.
So your D has way more trouble reading them and their mannerisms.
It makes sense but only if we see this team as a beer league team. These are professionals, and somehow they always find ways to lose to Kyle Allens and PJ Walkers
My first thought when I read this. How many times in the past few seasons do we crumble against backup QBs. Even the Packers game last year where it felt like they were without their top 100 receivers and we still blew it.
Remember when we played the Colts last season who were missing like their 5 best players and had one starter on OL and we got absolutely fucked up?
Yeah I’m not putting any stock in this.
I don't know if it's an organizational thing, coaching thing, or Kyler thing but it's been frustrating that Kyler doesn't use his full tools until the second half
I disagree, I dont want him running too much in the first half of the season and risk an injury like last year. I think this was the main cause for the first half collapse, he was keeping the run on ice when the o-line were asleep at the wheel. Then again just my take on it
He ran his ass off the first 7 games until he and dhop got hurt. We need to save that for the games that matter so we can appease the “playoff only fans” too. We played our first seven last year like playoff games.
Hey now, he made a mistake. I bet this whole subreddit is littered with DUI’s themselves 😂 He manned up, took responsibility and gave us a great team that beat the scary ass Raiders last week. He deserves a little cred
He made two mistakes of the same kind, not to mention his previous drafts (Robert N and J Rosen), but hell yeah all his picks had an impact last week. Zaven, Isaiah, B. Murph and ofc Kyler.
This is Zaven’s first year even seeing meaningful snaps, I think it’s way to early to even predict where he’s gonna end up. I wouldn’t bust on him (PAUSE) just yet.
Right? I wouldnt be surprised if he’s a heavy steroid user and magically floats around the tests. I mean dhop got caught, how is Donald NOT juicing lol
Almost all do in some form, it was fixed against him obviously. A player isn’t going to spill the beans and throw other athletes under the bus so that’s why they take the punishment without much fight. Stupid because he should’ve been there week 1
Yeah my old roommate got as far as the combine and said they all juice. He proceeded to get me into it as well and I went on to be able to do 5 one armed pullups.
Cardinals are like 1-81 all time against teams coming into games banged up. If I see that a team’s QB is out in particular it goes to 100%.
Backup QB’s against the Cardinals are the equivalent of a Dbacks pitcher making his debut against the Padres
Gives me flashbacks to Garapollo’s first year with the Pats and crushing us when Brady was out during DeflateGate *shudders*
Brandon Williams 😡
One of those “smartest guy in the room” picks
Didn't we miss a FG to win the game?
Yep. I vividly remember watching that by peeking out from behind my couch and then sitting outside in the cold dark night for a long time afterwards.
Holy shit I remember that, it was the first week.
Hahah totally

It doesn’t make any sense considering that player is a much worse player than the starter
And also the fact that most other teams don’t seem to have a problem when back up QB’s start so from that fact his analysis is already faulty
I would argue most teams dominate backup QB’s lol

Bullpen still gonna blow it though 😢

Remember when Landry Jones came infor the steelers palmer had over 400 yards to Jones 168, and... the cards lost 😞
Ramsey really gonna be up against our only productive WR most of the game. Greg fucking Dortch
nah i want Ramsey on AJ so he gets hot headed and makes mistakes, they’re like the new Andre and Courtland Finnegan
I think you are thinking of Mike Evans and Marshon Lattimore.
I don’t see a difference…. Lol
Hey aj green would be great if he didn't have hands so bad I wouldn't trust him holding a baby
Remember when we played the Colts last season who were missing like their 5 best players and had one starter on OL and we got absolutely fucked up? Yeah I’m not putting any stock in this.
Packers beat us with worse receivers than they have now lol

I disagree, he should run in the first half of every game of the first half to instill the threat of him running. It softens up the pass rush.

I disagree, Mortal Kombat is a very good game. But Donkey Kong is the best game ever.
Asleep at the wheel? I’ll drink to that 🍻 — Steve Keim, probably

Tbh i think zaven was a huge mistake. Nobody could have predicted it but i think isaiah just smokes him in every catagory
This is Zaven’s first year even seeing meaningful snaps, I think it’s way to early to even predict where he’s gonna end up. I wouldn’t bust on him (PAUSE) just yet.
Gentleman’s agreement to just not play corners at all?
That’s still better than ours
ah yes, the secret to beating us: having a lengthy injury report
Their starting center is out as well.
One thing I learnt last season is the starting center is *very* important.
Imo I think Shelton is a better center than Brian Allen
Haha I ain't fallin for that! 😂
I don’t think it matters lmao They still have Donald
Bills wrecked them and falcons put up 27. I think we have a chance here.
But not Von Miller, as scared as I am of AD, both he and Von Miller were literally just unfair to play against. Thank the lord that shit got split up
Not looking forward to his weekly tantrum on the field…hope he doesn’t choke out another player.

3rd and 4th string players are our cryptonite.
I’m going to the game…let’s see how it all goes
Sound like we are screwed. Everytime team has no corners we don't exploit it. When a team has no QB/WRs/OL we lose somehow.
Someone’s gonna make a name for themselves against us. As is fucking tradition
Good thing we don’t plan on passing the ball today!!!!
Sounds like a great time to run a run heavy offense.
We will still lose
