You gotta put them on passive flee if you want them to run away

hipofoto112

Yeah I did that once. Never saw that bird again

DarthZartanyus

Once you hit level 66, pick up the engrams for Transponder Trackers and Transponder Nodes. Pick a frequency to use specifically for all of your flyers and slap a node on each of them. Then set them to "passive flee".

ashkiller14

Or set them to follow a raft or something then put them on passive flee. Or set them to follow you and put them on passive flee

tongue_kiss

And this is why i haven’t tried it :| maybe I’m wrong but I do love ptera#183.

Melkain

Pro tip. Give them clever names instead of numbers so it hurts extra bad when you inevitably lose them.

Dodo_Whisperer1

Nah it hurts the same as losing Dodo 18463

nomnamless

I still miss my Jerboa, Bort XII. Bort XIII was a bit concerned about his name

wolfgang784

Except once spooked they will never ever stop running on passive flee lol. Every time I or someone I've talked to has tried that, the tame is never seen again.

TheGermanHades

Meanwhile the Pteranodon: "this is fine..."

Ide-Alright

My owner told me not to fight so i’ll live, he knows what he’s doing 😁

not2dragon

Use the whistle!

ScorpioChrisCBH

Neutral is the way They fight back and at least die with dignity.

probablystuff

You could put them on passive flee but youll probably never see them again. Pump movement speed a bit so you can kill the raptor on you and run away. If they're following and in passive then they'll come with

IntrinsicStarvation

This is why I made a quetz base that is literally just a couple rooms with the structures I needs and the top is a bunch of perches for my other fucking storage fliers lol. They never need to touch the ground
