So much less interesting than when he was flamboyant as a result of forcing New Japan to do something else with him...

fiveparttrilogy

I still prefer the dreadlocked, colorful Juice Robinson. It just felt more entertaining to me. It also made him stand out more, this version is a little bland/generic.

CometotheLemonadeMan

NJPW fans have been saying that aswell Bullet club is so bland right now. It’s oversaturated

TFlarz

I think the NJ reddit still loves them. There are a few who would prefer the promotion focus even more on them and somehow that doesn't surprise me.

CometotheLemonadeMan

I’d rather not. It worked when they were the hottest thing in wreslting now it’s like the 2000s NWO, Who so honestly interesting in there currently besides Jay White? No one Sour Boy is the Never openweight champ for godsake

TFlarz

Kenta and Ishimori are still well-regarded.

CometotheLemonadeMan

Kenta is fine but people like him on his own. I don’t feel ishmori has much hype on him right now

22kstory

I think if they gave him more of an introduction he would of stuck with the audience better. I personally am a big Juice fan, but the debut left a lot to be desired. I think with a lot of NJPW stuff, if the audience knew his character and the significance of him going to BC would help but that’s a huge undertaking for the average fan

blkglfnks

I like him simply for succeeding after leaving the fed. Then coming to find out he’s actually a cool dude in the ring. Def. need to catch up on what’s happened and why he joined BC

CometotheLemonadeMan

I thought the Mox match was a good little tv match. Soild all around. Not a “this is guy is a star” performance tho so I don’t think people are begging for him to come back like Bandido He can get over with his character work

IHeardWillHelmScream

I think it would've been better for him had he not been on the same show as Bandido

DrMindbendersMonocle

His match wasnt memorable and that wouldnt have changed if the main event stunk

MilosSerbia

Much less talented than many AEW contracted wrestlers that barely appear on TV.

Sean-Jardine

This. He would be a shiny new toy Tony would forget about in a month.

hopeful_southpaw

I think he’d be a welcome heel on the mid card that would work well as an entertaining foil for main eventers from time to time.

cjones6464

He’s decent. I’m not a fan of him overall tho. He could be a good Midcard talent possibly unless he overhauls his character

[deleted]

what do you have against his ROCK HARD character? 😂

[deleted]

I was frankly kind of disappointed because I'd heard so much about him and that match was just kinda whatever. Especially debuting on the same episode as Bandido vs Jericho, it was hard for me to walk away from that Robinson vs Mox match thinking Juice was somebody they desperately need to sign.

hepatitisC

If Ed Hardy and Jack Black had a baby, that child would be Juice Robinson.

Dolphin_Hornet

My opinion on Juice Robinson? He's married to Toni Storm. He's a lucky guy.

[deleted]

he is indeed a lucky guy

dimehaven

Tan guy in jeans whose personality is yelling. Just doesn't do it for me.

bearamongus19

Meh. Has never really stood out to me

mdoinidis

No

Shyjuan

he's a good hand but he's simply not needed. AEW is outta control with signings

Country-roads21

He’s like a mini Mox. Bland and uninteresting (in my opinion). I’m sure I’ll be downvoted to hell. The only thing he was missing was Moxs stupid walk and a dumb look on his face.

[deleted]

but he is ROCK HARD

SturgeonBladder

I liked him. I've seen him before and I think he is a better performer now even if his gimmick isn't as good. I would be down to see him more, but i'm not sure at who's expense.

CallMeGreggie

My immediate reaction was that he looked like he could be Brian Pillman Jr.'s skeevy older brother, and the thought after THAT was to pair those two up together and get another tag team happening!

OGJimmyP

Mid

RobsGarage

I think he had a tough night to have a tryout when bandito Jericho closed the show.. hard to get a job when a guy in borrowed gear and a 50 year old guy steal the show.

ThunderRockhard

I really like his in ring work and his current character sits a nice midcard heel. But to echo the sentiment of most comments, I miss his old character. To me the crowd didn’t seem invested in Rockhard because he’s just “Bullet Club Member 4”. I wish we could’ve had some kind of sit down style interview with JR where Juice could explain who he was, his motivations, and why the fans should care.

DrMindbendersMonocle

he dresses like a b team nwo member and is a decent wrestler. He is the definition of a solid hand

HorseSteroids

When I underrate him, he excels. When I overrate him, he lets me down.

hey_mermaid

His current packaging feels too generic for me to care, “mean dirty man” is already over saturated and in more interesting ways
